Position Summary
The Softball Site Leader/Scorekeeper plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the adult softball program at designated fields in Corvallis and Albany. Responsible for overseeing various aspects of the games, including scorekeeping, field supervision, and ensuring the safety of participants and facilities. Key responsibilities include setting up for games, keeping official score and operate electric scoreboards during games and handle player or field-related situations. A general knowledge of Softball/baseball is preferred. Must have good interpersonal skills, ability to follow and give directions, ability to be assertive in directing facility activities, and ability to communicate well. These tasks are illustrative only and may include other related duties.

Essential Duties
Recreation Leaders perform some or all of the following essential functions depending on assigned area. Recreation Leaders may be assigned as sports officials, sports coaches, or day camp leaders.
Implements a wide spectrum of activities, seasonal community special events, tournaments and recreational activities for children, adults and/or older adults.
Plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates recreation activities in assigned area of responsibility.
Schedules activities and facilities, and coordinates the use of various indoor facilities belonging to other organizations.
Responds to participant complaints and conflicts. Addresses customer service issues.
Depending on assigned area operates and drives a motor vehicle and/or equipment safely and legally.
Conforms with all safety rules and performs work is a safe manner. Ensures and promotes a safe environment for activity participants.

Large Animal Models | Preclinical Research
I have had the pleasure of working on a new exciting opportunity with a Preclinical CRO. I am actively looking for an experienced In Vivo Surgical Specialist / Surgical Research Associate with strong hands-on expertise in large animal preclinical models.
This role focuses on executing complex surgical procedures in porcine, canine, ovine, or rabbit models to support preclinical research studies within a fast-paced research environment.
Key Experience
- 5+ years performing large animal in vivo surgical procedures
- Experience with vascular catheterization / cannulation
- Intrathecal catheterization / lumbar puncture
- Liver or kidney biopsy procedures

Summary: Directly reports to QA & EHS Director at our Portsmouth Va. location. Inspect and monitor work performed on government and commercial work items, specializing in Hull, Mechanical and Electrical Inspections for Quality compliance. Review QA Work Packages, QA Work Books, and Re-entry Control (REC) / Technical Work Documents (TWD) packages prior to start-work for completeness, accuracy and compliance with technical specifications and customer requirements. Non-Supervisory. Provide management oversight, and career development of production trades related to quality assurance and safety requirements. Provide Project QA inspections/audits and assessments were requirements cannot be met by trade Quality Control Inspectors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish and execute Audit/Surveillance Plans for SUBSAFE / Level I / Corporate Component Repair Program (CCRP), Modernization and Manufacturing contract work.
- Establishes basic Test and Inspection Plans for projects. Perform in-process work surveillances, safety surveillances and conduct final work-package review after work-completion.
- Performs internal audit of to monitor compliance with company procedures and performs external audits to evaluate supplier suitability for use. Develop trend analysis and reports.
- Prepares Corrective Action Requests, and Preventative Action requests as related to production work to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures and work instructions.

About the School of Computing Instruction at the Georgia Institute of Technology
With more students graduating with a Computer Science degree than any other major at Georgia Tech and the Institute's requirement that every student complete at least one programming course, quality instruction on the foundations of computing has never been more important. The School of Computing Instruction (SCI) was created to serve these critical needs within Georgia Tech and beyond. Our award-winning teaching-focused faculty have three core missions:

SCI's creative faculty boldly experiment with new ideas and approaches to pedagogy, while continually re-examining proven methods to ensure their approach is effective and practical across a different set of courses and students. Scalability of Computing Instruction. Job Summary
The School of Computing Instruction (SCI) at Georgia Institute of Technology within the College of Computing was recently founded to recognize the significant contributions of CS teaching-track faculty. We invite applications for multiple full-time and long-term faculty positions. The official appointment of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer will be made depending on past teaching experience. Both positions are offered with renewable contracts with an expectation to start in 2025 on Georgia Institute of Technology Atlanta campus. Summer teaching for additional compensation is typically available. In addition, SCI faculty are typically allowed to teach at one of Georgia Tech's multiple study-abroad campuses (Berlin, Barcelona, Metz, etc.) during the summer.
The top candidates will be invited to Atlanta for an on-site interview, which involves giving a sample lecture.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to providing high-quality undergraduate teaching, primarily within the technical communications component of the College's capstone design program. Opportunities to teach graduate courses are also available, as candidates will be matched to courses for which they are the best fit. In addition to teaching, there will be an expectation to participate in service at the School, College, and Institute level. Candidates are also encouraged to engage in scholarship and curriculum development. As part of its budget, SCI earmarks funding for these sorts of activities and makes it available to faculty.

About the Scool of Computing Instruction at the Georgia Institute of Technology
With more students graduating with a Computer Science degree than any other major at Georgia Tech and the Institute's requirement that every student complete at least one programming course, quality instruction on the foundations of computing has never been more important. The School of Computing Instruction (SCI) was created to serve these critical needs within Georgia Tech and beyond. Our award-winning teaching-focused faculty have three core missions:

SCI's creative faculty boldly experiment with new ideas and approaches to pedagogy, while continually re-examining proven methods to ensure their approach is effective and practical across a different set of courses and students. Job Summary
The School of Computing Instruction (SCI) at Georgia Institute of Technology within the College of Computing was recently founded to recognize the significant contributions of CS teaching-track faculty. We invite applications for multiple full-time and long-term faculty positions. The official appointment of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer will be made depending on past teaching experience. Both positions are offered with renewable contracts with an expectation to start in Jan 2025 on Georgia Institute of Technology Atlanta campus. Summer teaching for additional compensation is typically available. In addition, SCI faculty are typically allowed to teach at one of Georgia Tech's multiple study-abroad campuses (Berlin, Barcelona, Metz, etc.) during the summer.
The top candidates will be invited to Atlanta for an on-site interview, which involves giving a sample lecture.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to providing high-quality undergraduate teaching. Candidates will be expected to teach a 2-3 class load with the assistance of one teaching assistant for every 25 students. Opportunities to teach graduate courses are also available, as candidates will be matched to courses for which they are the best fit. In addition to teaching, there will be an expectation to participate in service at the School, College, and Institute level. Reporting to the Dean of the College of Computing, the Chair has overall responsibility for the academic program in the School of Computing Instruction specifically focusing on all budgetary, administrative, academic, fiscal, and personal decisions in conjunction with the mission and goals of the College and Georgia Tech. The chair must have a forward-thinking strategic vision, the ability to implement that vision, and the necessary skills to lead a group of faculty and staff. Additionally, the Chair will provide overall leadership for all the school's teaching components at the undergraduate level. The Chair should establish collaborative and interdisciplinary relationships with others Computing School Chairs, with other leaders in the College, as well as all internal and external constituents at Georgia Tech and abroad. They must be able to build successful partnerships with executive leaders at Georgia Tech. Fostering community engagement and industry relationships should also be primary goals for the incoming Chair. The Optical Engineering Team provides all optical systems engineering services to Millennium's direct programs, studies, proposals, and Internal Research & Development (IRAD) efforts. They are systems engineers managing interfaces between the space vehicle and Electro-Optical (EO)/Infrared (IR) payloads and laser system/laser communication payloads. The team models mission phenomenology and detection performance of EO/IR and active sensors considering the spectral, spatial, and radiometric attributes of the sensor. They design and develop optical hardware, including star trackers and sensor suites that support autonomous navigation and docking maneuvers. They determine what on-orbit and ground image processing algorithms should be implemented to support mission requirements. They work closely with mission and systems engineering teams, as well as manufacturing and testing teams to lead payload systems efforts end-to-end.
An Optical Systems Engineer possesses a strong background in spaceborne electro-optical sensor technology (visible to infrared; active and passive). You will oversee optical systems on our programs, ensuring system specifications meet mission needs. You will own mission performance requirements for remote sensing missions and or space-to-space missions, and model mission phenomenology and detection performance. You will be the primary interface between the optical payload, space vehicle team, and mission data processing team, managing interfaces between these elements. Successful Optical Systems Engineers have experience with modeling, simulation, analysis, and calibration of optical hardware.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
