Job Summary:
The firm is looking for a bright, hard-working, and high-energy associate to join our regionally-acclaimed litigation team. The associate will receive direct trial experience and motion practice experience.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- 4+ years of legal experience as an attorney
- Admitted to practice law in the state of New York
- Admitted to practice Law in the State of New Jersey is a Plus
- Civil and Commercial Litigation experience. NY Real Estate Litigation a Plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize, and prepare documents as requested
- Ability to organize workflow and use time efficiently
- Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment and successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands
- Ability to show strong attention to detail, as well as strength in proofreading
- Demonstrate proficiency in applicable computer programs (Lexis, Westlaw, Microsoft Office Suite)
- Excellent legal research, writing, and presentation skills, and high professional standards
- Uses the utmost discretion regarding sensitive company and confidential client information
Work Hours:
- Full Time in Office - Office location in New York City.
- Full-time, exempt
Salary:
- salary based on admission experience - $125,000-$185,000

Opportunity to join one of New Jerseyβs leading environmental law practices as counsel/senior associate. We are looking for applicants with the following experience:
4 years of minimum experience working in environmental remediation, transactional, and litigation matters.
Should have a background in ISRA compliance; i.e., obtaining approval from an LSRP or DEP that contamination has been properly investigated and remediated.
Candidate must be admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey. Admission to the New York State bar is a plus. Joining the firmβs practice presents an excellent opportunity for candidate growth in the environmental legal field. The firmβs clients include real estate property owners/operators, remediating parties, real estate developers, public entities with environmental issues, businesses with environmental regulatory issues, and work in the area of Superfund and hazardous waste site remediations. The Firmβs environmental practice runs the full gamut of environmental legal matters.
