About the Role
As a Business Operations Intern, you'll play a key role in keeping our fast-moving team running smoothly—from coordinating product shipments and managing our Shopify store to planning team events and supporting the cofounders on strategic projects. We're looking for someone who moves quickly, leans on AI tools to work smarter, and has a sharp eye for design and detail. This is a hands-on role where you'll gain real experience across every facet of a growing cybersecurity startup.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage physical shipments of security products to customers, including tracking orders, preparing packages, and communicating delivery timelines
- Help manage and maintain the company's Shopify store, including inventory tracking, product listings, and order fulfillment
- Plan and coordinate team events and travel logistics
- Support the cofounders on a variety of strategic and operational projects as priorities evolve
- Manage office supply and snack ordering to keep the team well-stocked and happy
- Leverage AI tools and agents (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, automation platforms) to streamline workflows and increase efficiency across tasks
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Associate's degree program at a Bay Area college or university, ideally pursuing a technical degree (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics)
- Demonstrated proficiency with AI tools and a strong preference for using AI agents (e.g., Claude, Lovable) to get work done faster
- A good eye for design—whether it's formatting a document, laying out a slide deck, or organizing a storefront

Qualifications (Education & Experience)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in sales management in the pharmaceutical industry may be substituted.
- 8+ years of Pharmaceutical Sales experience preferred; or equivalent medical sales experience may be substituted.
- 3+ years sales management experience in a U.S. pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical organization preferred.
- 2+ years’ experience in Cardiology (Statin, PCSK9, and NOAC) launch experience preferred.

The BBSI Payroll Specialist position is a key member of the business unit team that consults on a broad range of organizational and management areas. The primary objective of the Payroll Specialist is to process perfect and timely payrolls for around 60-80 clients with a variety of pay periods, pay cycles, and payroll complexities. Additionally, the Payroll Specialist will work closely with clients to understand their payroll and accounting systems and processes to help identify and recommend process improvements.
The successful candidate must demonstrate strong business acumen and possess an entrepreneurial spirit with a genuine desire to proactively and consistently deliver value to our clients and internal teams.
This position reports to the Area Manager and works in partnership with other positions within the business unit, branch and corporate office.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Run high volume perfect and timely on- and off-cycle payrolls (800+ employees) for multiple client companies
- Become an expert in new client onboarding, BBSI payroll, CRM (Salesforce), timekeeping and HRIS systems. Identify systems options to achieve better results for clients and BU members
- Perform on-site client payroll training, HRP web training and use of all feature functionalities relevant to client
- Become subject matter expert on client data including turnover, ongoing or seasonal headcount fluctuations, time & attendance, building payroll bridges, import & export requirements, prevailing wages, job costing, certified payroll, standard & custom reporting requirements of client companies
Desired Skills and Experience

Salary and Other Compensation:
The starting income range for this position is $28.00-$39.00 hourly. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography, skills, education, experience, certifications and other qualifications of the candidate.

The BBSI Risk and Safety Consultant primary objective is to help business owners maximize their investment in human capital through establishment of best practices, specifically focusing on enterprise risk management and risk mitigation strategies that jointly and positively impact client and BBSI initiatives and profitability. Additionally, the Risk and Safety Consultant will partner with client companies to educate and influence them on matters involving the promotion of a proactive risk management culture, occupational health and safety and behavior based safety.
This person must demonstrate strong business acumen, an entrepreneurial spirit with a genuine desire to proactively and consistently deliver results for our clients and internal teams.
This position is a full time, exempt position that is accountable to the Director of Risk Management, the Area Manager and respective Business Unit(s).
Requirements
- Solid understanding of occupational health and safety principles and practices
- Experience working in a dynamic team environment
- Worker’s Compensation Claims management and coordination
- Multi-client consulting experience a must
- Experience working directly with business owners a plus
- Understanding of safety culture and ability to demonstrate how to shift one
- Demonstrated proficiency in conducting root cause analysis for risk mitigation
- Demonstrated experience with customer collaboration
- Process Control and Continuous Improvement experience preferred
- Ability to benchmark, measure, analyze and articulate the value of risk management initiatives, practices and policies
- At least 10 years of risk management, occupational health and safety and regulatory experience required.
- Ideally the candidate will have a professional certification(s) such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), ARM (Associate in Risk Management), RPIH (Registered Professional Industrial Hygienist), CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), Six Sigma (Black or Green Belt) or an equivalent certification.
- Candidate must have operations and/or consulting experience
- Demonstrated ability to write, develop and deliver successful presentations to individuals and groups at all levels of an organization
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or the equivalent in experience
- Risk mitigation from insurance industry preferred, but not required
- Roughly 70% of time spent with clients at their location – primarily local
- EHS management or EHS mitigation skills include, but are not limited to:
- Facility, job site and pre-construction surveys
- Regulatory compliance, including OSHA consultations
- Driver safety, fleet safety, loss control
- Return to work programs and implementation
- Safety champion identification and development
- Train-the-trainer occupational safety training programs
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required

Salary and Other Compensation:
The starting salary range for this position is $90,000-110,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography, skills, education, experience, certifications and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for incentive pay in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan.

Analog/mixed-signal Design Engineer
Responsibilities
You will be working with a team of designers to design high performance RF/Analog/mixed-signal circuits for high-speed wireline transceiver products using advanced CMOS technologies.
· Block level architecture design
· Schematic design, simulation, behavioral modeling, validation plan
· Supervise layout engineer and hands-on layout of critical paths when needed
· Lab characterization
Qualifications
· MS or Ph.D in electrical engineering with minimum 2 years of experience
· Knowledge of analog fundamentals: biasing circuits, clock generation and/or data converters
· Proficient in Cadence design environment
· Good communication skills
Additional Helpful Qualifications
· Proficient in Python or other programming language
. Basic proficiency with signal processing
. Interest in developing full-stack skills spanning mixed-signal design, simulation and modeling, and production test flows (software/firmware debug)
