About Sales Strategy & Operations


As a Sales Strategy & Operations (SS&O) team, our mission is to power sustainable revenue growth for Pinterest with datadriven strategic insights and decision making, tight management against them and highimpact revenue management. We inform critical business decisions driving revenue growth, so team members are highly visible to senior Sales leadership at Pinterest and throughout the organization at large.


This role sits within the SS&O team supporting Global Agency Sales, partnering closely with the VP, Global Agency Sales and regional Agency Sales leaders to shape how Pinterest shows up with the world's largest media holding companies and independent agencies.


What You'll Do:


Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales Strategy & Operations, and in close partnership with the VP, Global Agency Sales, you will develop and bring to life datadriven strategies that deepen Pinterest's partnerships with media agencies and accelerate revenue growth across our agency portfolio. In this role, you will:




  • Partner with Global and Regional Agency Sales leadership to define and deploy critical strategic, organizational and operational initiatives that improve agency health, drive revenue growth, and increase sales productivity across holding companies and key independents.




  • Shape Pinterest's global agency strategy and planning by developing frameworks for agency segmentation, coverage models, deal governance, and account planning that reflect agency structures (holding companies, networks, operating companies, and buying units).




  • Lead the analysis of agency business performance (revenue, forecast, sales pipelines, agency deals, investment mix, portfolio health, margin and incentives) to identify opportunities, risks and gaps - including recurring agency business reviews and adhoc deep dives; translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for sales and executive stakeholders.




  • Partner with crossfunctional teams (Finance, Product & Engineering, Product Marketing, BizOps, Client Solutions) to align on priorities and ensure agencyfocused initiatives, products, and tools (including agency planning and reporting tools) are designed and launched in ways that meet agency needs and drive measurable impact.




  • Build scalable reporting, tooling and operating cadences to monitor agency health and program performance (e.g., global agency metrics reviews, dashboards, and playbooks), ensuring the broader sales org can easily understand performance and act on insights.

What We're Looking For:




  • 7+ years of professional experience in strategy & operations in a fastpaced, highly analytical environment (e.g., management consulting, investment banking, tech/media, or revenue/sales strategy & operations).




  • Familiarity with global media agencies - including holding company and operating company structures, investment and trading teams, planning and buying functions, how agencies make investment decisions and evaluate partners, and how agency operating models inform global deals, JBPs and enablement programs.




  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with a strong ability to analyze and manipulate large, complex datasets (e.g., revenue, pipeline, pricing, incentives, media performance) to generate clear insights, identify trends, and translate them into structured opportunities and recommended actions.




  • Proven experience building dashboards, reporting and decision frameworks that help senior leaders quickly understand business performance and take action; familiarity with tools such as SQL, Salesforce and Tableau is a plus but not required.




  • Demonstrated ability to partner closely with senior sales leaders (Director/VP+) to define strategy, build annual plans, forecast revenue, drive org design, and hold teams accountable to revenue and investment commitments.

This is a hands-on, consultative B2B sales role for someone who knows how to sell complex solutions, not just products.

There is no rigid geographic ceiling for the right salesperson. Performance, not zip codes, defines growth here.


You will create a massive impact by not only helping contractors work safety and go home at night but you will have direct impact of expanding the business from the ground up.

The Role

You will own and grow a West Coast territory by selling complex, consultative B2B solutions directly to end users in construction and industrial environments. This is a true outside sales role that requires time in the field, on job sites, and face-to-face with decision-makers.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developing new business and expand existing accounts across West Coast markets.
  • Managing inbound leads while proactively building your own pipeline.
  • Conducting on-site surveys, jobsite visits, and technical walk-throughs.
  • Reviewing building layouts, drawings, and site conditions to scope solutions accurately.
  • Presenting consultative solutions to owners, contractors, engineers, and operators.

Who This Role Is For

Role Overview

The Director of Sales serves as the architect and coach of the franchise system’s entire sales engine. Your primary focus will be unit-level revenue growth, but you will also play a supporting role in franchise development by shaping the revenue story, sales model, and performance expectations for new franchise candidates.

You will design the sales playbooks, processes, training, KPIs, coaching systems, and CRM workflows that enable each franchise owner and their dedicated sales reps to convert more leads, book more appointments, and close more deals.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & System Development

  • Build the franchise-wide sales framework and strategy that aligns with brand standards and unit-level economics.
  • Develop repeatable, scalable sales processes for dedicated sales reps while empowering franchise owners to drive community-based awareness and organic sales.

  • Create corrective action plans and support underperforming units.
  • Help franchisees recruit, onboard, and manage sales reps with a consistent franchise-wide standard.


Franchise Development Support (Hybrid Responsibility)

  • Collaborate with Franchise Development to articulate revenue expectations, sales model structure, and competitive advantage to franchise buyers.
  • Support candidate discovery days by presenting the sales training program and projected unit economics.
  • Help ensure new owners clearly understand the sales responsibilities and expectations before awarding.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of sales leadership experience in home services and/or construction trades.

  • Consolidate machine configurations, work tool specifications (e.g., bucket widths, pin diameters), and availability data from across the organization.
  • Maintain current work tool availability and pricing documentation.


Forecasting, Planning & Programs

  • Consolidate the RBM team’s 12-month rolling forecast for leadership review.
  • Run standard monthly dealer reports for RBMs to share with their dealers.
  • Track sales initiatives, program progress, and performance outcomes.
  • Manage Sourcewell, Core, and Canoe program submissions and reporting.
  • Track NPI launch timelines and coordinate communication between RBMs, Product Management, and leadership.


Process Improvement

  • Identify manual, duplicative, or inefficient reporting and administrative processes.
  • Consolidate information sources and support development of simplified reporting tools or platforms.

Key Responsibilities


Greet and engage clients—homeowners, designers, architects, and builders—providing expert design guidance throughout the selection process.

Key Responsibilities:


Sales & Customer Engagement: Actively engage with diverse range of customer, identifying their needs, providing personalized eyewear recommendations, and delivering excellent customer service to meet personal sales and productivity goals
