The Strategic Data(RWD) Acquisition Manager will be an integral part of Surescripts' data ecosystem by executing negotiations with Surescripts Network Alliance partners to secure data usage rights, while also identifying and acquiring new, strategic data sources. This person will play a critical role in maintaining access to high quality data necessary for the development of solutions that will deliver value and improve the experience for stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem. This position requires a deep understanding of healthcare data, the regulatory landscape and business development experience to successfully negotiate and secure data agreements that will enhance our product portfolio.
Responsibilities:- Identify and evaluate potential data sources of interest that expand Surescripts' data portfolio. Create comprehensive value propositions for how the data could be used within Surescripts' solutions, and valuation of the data to make offers to data sources for data acquisition.
- Drive business development efforts to secure agreements that enhance Surescripts' data portfolio. With guidance from leadership, execute strategies to identify and approach potential data partners, and successfully negotiate terms.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to develop strategies to align customer incentives with broader data-dependent initiatives. Interface with Surescripts Network Alliance partners to negotiate data usage rights, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Interface with data providers, industry partners, and other stakeholders.
- Manage day-to-day data procurement-related inquiries and negotiations with data providers and customers.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of privacy laws, including HIPAA permitted purposes. Collaborate with compliance, privacy, security, and data governance teams to ensure all data procurement activities comply with all state and federal regulations, internal policies, and customer contracts.
- Monitor and report on data procurement activities. Track progress of data procurement efforts, report on key metrics, and provide regular updates to senior management. Proactively identify and address any challenges or obstacles in the procurement process. Monitor and evaluate the ROI of data acquisition initiatives to prioritize high-impact opportunities.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in data rights, privacy regulations, and the healthcare industry. Apply and share this knowledge to improve data procurement strategies and ensure the company remains compliant and competitive.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, or related field;
- 8+ years of experience in business development and/or related experience in the procurement/acquisition of healthcare data.
- Strong understanding of regulations around healthcare data, including Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA).
- Ability to evaluate the value and quality of data assets and their applicability to business needs.
- Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
- Demonstrated success in business development and deal negotiation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Position Summary:
The Senior Food Scientist will lead technical projects that support Karlsburger Foods’ strategic business goals, including new product development, product optimization, cost savings, quality improvement, and troubleshooting. This role will focus on a range of product forms including dry powders, broths concentrate, stocks concentrate, sauces, and gravies. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with deep experience in savory product development and commercialization, especially in powdered and concentrated formats.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Lead new product development projects with emphasis on dry powders, soup/broth bases, and seasoning blends.
- Optimize existing powdered, liquid and paste products for quality, shelf-life, and cost.
- Execute plant trials, product validations, and troubleshooting in both dry and wet processing environments.
- Maintain accurate and detailed technical documentation, including formulations, batching instructions, and product specifications.
- Participate in sensory panels and lead evaluations for taste, appearance, and texture.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the field-based extension of the Pharvaris’ Medical Affairs Team
- Field-based activities expected to comprise >80% of MSL responsibilities.

- Ensures appropriate scientific exchange with HCPs by fostering fair and balanced medical and scientific communications that are not misleading.

Key Responsibilities Supervise and support Account Managers and Billing Specialist Ensure accurate contract reviews, work orders, material ordering, and job travelers are completed by the team Review orders, routing steps, and audit bill of materials Ability to fill in for any team member as needed Monitor open and past-due orders and ensure timely customer communication Oversee invoicing, document retention, and unbilled shipments Manage customer complaints and resolutions Serve as liaison between Sales, Production, and Quality Utilize ERP system daily to manage work orders, reports, and workflow Attend daily Planning Meetings and collaborate cross-functionally Hire, train, coach, and develop employees Ensure the team has sufficient cross-training in place and up-to-date Conduct performance evaluations and address performance concerns Ensure training documentation and cross-training within the department Participate in Safety, Quality, annual continuing education, and continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives First Year Expectations: Become the subject matter expert for all direct reports Excel at ERP use and functionality Improve team order accuracy and reduce rework Strengthen communication and coordination with Production teams Use forecasting and demand planning to guide account managers on blanket POs Increase depth of knowledge and cross-training for each team member Improve customer return/rework resolutions Learn relevant ISO 9001:2015 and FAA regulations Track and present weekly & monthly team metrics Qualifications Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience or completion of applicable on-the-job training Manufacturing environment experience preferred Prior ERP or database system experience required ISO, Kaizen or continuous improvement experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to read CAD drawings / blueprints Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods Ability to push/pull up to 25 lbs Ability to reach, crouch, and use hands/fingers Ability to see in color and communicate clearly in English Ability to use Microsoft Office / Google Suite proficiently Ability to use PCs, printers, and other technology standard with an office supervisory role Requirements: Two years of prior supervisory experience is required or completion of on-the-job-training (OJT) with preference placed on prior experience within a manufacturing setting, Prior experience working with an ERP system or CRM database is required, Previous experience working with and implementing Kaizen principles is strongly preferred.

What You Will Be Doing as an Account Executive:
- Responsible for identifying individual and corporate leads and contacts, developing strategies for semi-annual sales campaigns, and managing all prospective relationships
- Negotiate contracts and coordinate special customer needs through manufacturing and distribution
- Explain products or services and prices, and answer questions from customers, in order to persuade potential customers to purchase a product or service
- Accountable for acquiring new business, expanding existing business, and growing market share according to annual revenue plans
- Evaluate all territory assignments, manage sales process and strategy, report back to management to help estimate forecast revenues, determine price and discount schedules, administer sales quotes, and analyze market data
- Hold and develop presentations for sales meetings, represent the company at industry trade shows, and maintain regular contact with all local and national account buyers
- Consult on the development of all sales pipelines, advertising and marketing campaigns, and budget
- Assist with coordinating customer discount and promo programs, account management, client referral spins, and sales vertical strategy
- Manage and grow accounts by utilizing and maintaining the corporate database and lead-generation tools
- Qualify prospective leads, and move leads through the sales funnel into a face-to-face meeting for a sales presentation
