Senior Sales Associate (Key Holder)

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Senior Sales Associate with Key Holder responsibilities provides an exceptional customer service, generates sales and participates in all essential duties to ensure an effective day-to-day operation at the store, including the support of all operations, visual and brand directives.


What you’ll do:

  • Meet and exceed store sales, KPIs and personal target.
  • Promote and act as a brand ambassador of Mackage by providing exceptional service within a customer centric environment from product knowledge and excellent customer experience.
  • Ensure proactive client engagement leveraging CRM and growing the clientele database.
  • Provide timely and informative product knowledge of the brand by explaining the characteristics, the advantages and the benefits of our products to new and existing customers.
  • Participate in the daily operations of the store for optimal effectiveness (merchandise reception; labelling, merchandising, POS operations, inventory management, shipping and receiving packages etc.);
  • In the absence of the management team, the senior sales associate will oversee daily operations with responsibilities (and not limited) to open and close the store, update daily reports, communicate to HQ partners effectively, execute Visual Merchandising responsibilities, ensure store standards are maintained and operational duties are consistently met.
  • Upkeep store standards and maintain merchandising within the sales floor in addition to the organization of back of house.
  • Always demonstrate a strong presence on the floor to support the customer experience and uphold loss prevention best practices.
  • Act as a strong team player and always remain respectful to your team and customers.


What you’ll need:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a store environment with key holder responsibilities
  • Luxury retail experience is a plus.
  • Multilingual is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service, sales and communication skills set.
  • Problem-solving skills related to basic customer service.
  • Model a positive attitude, professional appearance, and behavior.
  • Good understanding to fashion trends (an asset).
  • Experience in visual merchandizing (an asset).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and POS operating systems.

Job Summary

The General Manager builds a healthy business and protects the culture within their restaurants. In this role, they are expected to operate with a high level of responsibility, quality, ethics, and professionalism while ensuring the operational needs of the restaurant are met. They provide team leadership to all support staff, including Assistant Managers, Crew Chiefs, and restaurant team members. In this role, they ensure consistent and exceptional quality and customer service for all guests.

  • Develop and maintain a safety program in the restaurant that incorporates a safety committee, safety meetings, and information on the use of safety tools and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Ensure food is presented well and served at appropriate temperatures, within standard ticket times
  • Actively prevent workers comp and guest incidents by ensuring safety in the restaurant
  • Cornbread is following all of the recommended guidelines provided by the New York & New Jersey Department of Health and the CDC
  • Follow all Covid-19 protocols


Hospitality

  • Create an environment that is passionate about hospitality
  • Educate the team so they are familiar with the story of Cornbread
  • Build relationships with guests by communicating warmly and effectively
  • Seek opportunities to connect with guests on the floor
  • Ensure the approved guest feedback system is in use and acted upon


Business Management & Growth

  • Execute annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service, and human resource objectives, strategies, and tactics
  • Develop and maintain a labor schedule that is efficient and cost-effective
  • Build sales consistently and deliberately by implementing approved marketing and promotional items
  • Purchase (POP) materials, posters, and placemats
  • Oversee inventory management including PARS adherence, timely ordering, and supply chain management
  • Maintain the restaurant structure including but not limited to appliances, equipment, deep cleaning, sanitation practices, indoor and exterior restaurant appearance
  • Follow proper cash handling procedures
  • Attend all required leadership meetings
  • Provide quarterly reports on the state of the business


Qualifications

  • Food Service: 4 years of food service experience.
  • Years in Mgmt: 3 years min.
  • People skills: Dealing with the public and team proactively, professionally, and positively.
  • Ownership: Takes initiative, personally drives & takes pride in business.
  • Proficiency in technology, writing, reading, and working knowledge of spreadsheets required
  • Food Handlers certificate within 30 days or Serv Safe equivalent 
  • Ability to lift 30+ lbs and stand for long periods
  • Exhibit pride
