The Personal Banker I plays a key role in driving new customers and business while expanding existing relationships for Nicolet and your branch, serving as a trusted financial advisor who reflects Nicolet's culture, values, and commitment to exceptional customer experience.
In this role, you engage customers in meaningful, needsbased conversations to provide tailored financial guidance, support account openings and servicing, and assist with transactions across channels. As a Personal Banker I, you will:
Customer Experience & Relationship Building:
- Deliver a highly personalized and consultative customer experience across in-person, phone, and digital channels.
- Conduct deeper financial conversations to understand short and long-term needs and recommend appropriate deposit, lending, and digital solutions.
- Serve as a trusted resource for service and account support.
Account Opening, Servicing & Transactions:
- Open and service consumer and small business deposit and loan accounts; complete account maintenance and ensure accuracy of documentation.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, official checks, and related financial transactions.
- Assist with debit/ATM issuance, safe-deposit access, check orders, foreign currency exchange (as applicable), and digital banking troubleshooting.
Sales, Referrals & Financial Guidance:
- Identify opportunities to expand relationships through product recommendations, financial education, and proactive outreach.
- Use available reports and tools to identify customer needs, product gaps, and targeted calling opportunities.
- Contribute to the achievement of business objectives by conducting internal and external sales calls and other business development activities.
- Refer customers to internal specialists (mortgage, commercial banking, wealth) to ensure a comprehensive financial experience.
- Meet and exceed assigned individual and branch-level sales, service, and referral goals.
Consumer Lending Support:
- Educate customers on loan options.
- Prepare and process loan applications within authority.

Summary:
The Estimator is tasked with driving revenue growth by converting leads into signed contracts and maintaining relationships with existing clients. Responsibilities include scheduling homeowner visits, generating leads through various channels, meeting with homeowners to understand their needs, presenting tailored solutions, and completing contracts. Additionally, the Estimator collaborates with team members, liaises with insurance adjusters, and provides feedback for improving revenue opportunities. Adherence to safety protocols and occasional travel for storm events are also part of the role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains and executes a schedule of canvassing and planned visits to homeowners. Works with the Brand Ambassadors, Stom Manager, Sales Manager, Sales Schedulers to ensure his/her calendar is current and openings are visible while prospecting sales appt and running sales leads.
- Generating Storm leads and opportunities with cold calling, working directly with project managers for upsells, social media and partnering with brand ambassadors. Contacts other neighbors, works personal networks, or attends home shows to identify homeowners who may need products or services. Follows up as necessary. Allocates time to generate leads at Company-sponsored home shows.
- Contacts potential customers using information provided by the Brand Ambassadors and sales scheduler. Meets with homeowners to discuss needs. Listens to the customer, personally inspects the area of the home in question, and actively works with the customer to determine their exact needs. Meets with potential Customers nights, weekends, or holidays as required.
- Presenting solutions and or insurance process for homes with storm damage and signing storm form contingency contract with customer
- Meets with insurance adjuster/ ladder assists, engineers as needed for site inspections and assisting with any questions they may have in regards to storm damage to the home
- Presents solutions and overcomes objections to close deals. Working with customers to Sign off on G Fedale contact.
- Completes contracts. Completes the Proposal form with all specifications, prices, and payment terms. Ensures the customer understands that all work must be documented and that no verbal promises or expectations are allowed. Makes arrangements to either pick up the deposit check or have a payment sent to or called into the Billing Specialist at the Newport office.
- Assists in arranging financing. Works with the customer while onsite to apply for financing if not paying by check or credit card. Ensures that the customer actually applies and is approved for financing, not just that they qualified.
- Provides feedback to the Marketing and Production Departments. Provides feedback to other departments on potential revenue opportunities or improvements that could help the Company grow.
- Provides information necessary for commission calculation on a timely basis. Works with the Accounting Department to ensure all information needed for calculating commission payments for any given quarter are submitted within the first two weeks of the following quarter.
- Seeks to improve productivity and results on a daily basis.
- Follows all Company safety rules and operating procedures, practices and guidelines.
- Completes other tasks as assigned by Management.
- Additional travel maybe required to emerging markets to respond to storm events
Requirements:
- A degree from an accredited 4-year college or university with a major in business, marketing, or a related field, or a high school degree with significant sales and industry experience.
- 3-5 years of selling experience in the home building, remodeling, or renovation markets.
- Strong selling skills, including active listening, determining needs, the creation and presentation of solutions, overcoming objections, and closing the deal.
- A demonstrated ability to understand and work with contracts that provide for construction services or financing for construction services.
- A demonstrated understanding of home insurance and how home insurance claims are processed.

This role provides technical leadership across product design, material selection, tooling, mold flow analysis, supplier execution, and manufacturing readiness, ensuring products are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet quality and performance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a core member of the Product Engineering team, providing Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input for plastic injection-molded components.
- Engineer products from concept through design transfer into volume production.
- Evaluate and approve plastic part designs, materials, and manufacturing methods.
- Review and assess tool design, mold performance, and mold flow analysis including fill, warp, pressure, and balance.
- Act as technical liaison between tooling suppliers, plastic injection molders, Product Development, Manufacturing, and Quality.
- Lead and support tool and process development, resolving technical issues in real time.
- Work directly with global tooling suppliers and injection molders to deliver robust production molds at competitive cost.
- Develop cost models for plastic components, materials, labor, and tooling to ensure product profitability.
- Support manufacturing by investigating and resolving quality, process, and performance issues.
- Drive design transfer activities, ensuring tooling, process capability, and documentation are production-ready.
- Partner with Supply Chain to evaluate supplier capacity, technical capability, and scalability to support growth.
- Introduce and evaluate advanced plastic molding technologies to support innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in plastic injection-molded product development and design.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of plastic materials, molding processes, and tooling fundamentals.
- Proven experience working with mold builders, tooling suppliers, material suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple development projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with prototype development and laboratory testing.
- Knowledge of wood processing materials and equipment.
- Experience in sales-driven or consumer product manufacturing environments.
Pay range and compensation package
This position is classified as Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and meets the criteria for the professional exemption based on advanced engineering knowledge, independent judgment, and primary duties.
