Senior Instructional Designer

In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of interactive, engaging training solutions, including eLearning, videos, in-person and virtual instructor-led.
What you'll do:
- Consult with subject matter experts to develop engaging training content including in person and virtual instructor-led, eLearning courses, training activities, multimedia, and video learning.
- Use creative mindset to find new and different ways to design and develop training content. Review, update, and maintain training content to support the needs of the business.
- Organize materials and provide support to the facilitators before, during, and after training events.
- Manage assigned projects using project management concepts to meet milestones and project timelines.
- Lead project meetings with business partners to ensure all steps of assigned projects are completed within parameters.
- Proactive research on evolving trends in the field of learning and recommend innovative training tools and techniques to deliver cutting-edge design solutions.

What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, learning technologies, or other related field and 6+ years of professional instructional design experience in a corporate learning environment or combined work experience and education.
- 6+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing interactive instructor-led and eLearning modules.
- 5+ years of experience developing content using Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Vyond (or similar), and Camtasia.
- 5+ years of experience leading projects.
- Proficiency using AI-driven platforms for content development and/or learning and talent development.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and with video conferencing technology, specifically Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks without sacrificing quality and accuracy.
- Proven proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability and experience to work independently and develop training solutions from start (analysis) to end (evaluate).
Preferred:

Pay Transparency:
The expected pre-tax pay for this position is
$59,150.00 - $100,740.00This reflects base salary.
This position is subject to incentive compensation, where the expected pre-tax Target Cash Opportunity ("TCO") for this position is based on the achieved sales and in the amount/range of,
$98,600.00 - $167,900.00Actual Pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and eligible geographic location.

Job Description:Our Field Superintendent is responsible for overseeing product installations throughout the Washington region, exceeding customer expectations while maximizing profitability. Role Overview
Washington Shoe Company has an opening for a Footwear Designer with strong experience in sneakers, outdoor adventure footwear, and performance-driven design. This role is responsible for creating and developing innovative footwear for Western Chief, Chooka and Staheekum. The ideal candidate brings a keen eye for trend direction, a technical understanding of performance materials, and expertise in designing versatile footwear built for both everyday wear and outdoor environments.
This position requires trend research, CAD development, material and component selection, color design, last understanding, and hands-on participation in fittings. The designer will collaborate closely with co-designers, Production, Sales, and Marketing to maintain and evolve the brand identity.

Key Responsibilities
- Research seasonal sneaker, outdoor, and adventure-footwear trends, including materials, technologies, and color stories; present findings through inspirational trend boards for Sales and Marketing.
- Utilize product selling data and line plans to design 2–3 collections per year, including inline, catalog, and special make-up programs.
- Create detailed spec tech packs, CADs, and design documentation for sample development.
- Communicate with overseas factories and agents using clear visual and physical references to ensure design accuracy and execution.
- Partner with sourcing and costing to ensure materials, constructions, and components meet cost and margin targets.
- Engineer and modify designs based on factory capabilities, performance requirements, and cost considerations while preserving brand integrity and design intent.
- Participate in wear-testing, fittings, and QC reviews to validate comfort, performance, and durability.
- Manage multiple projects from concept and proto development through commercialization and production handoff.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally for meetings, tradeshows, development reviews, and factory visits.
Qualifications and Bonus Points
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Industrial Design, Footwear Design, Product Design, or related field.

Senior / Principal Environmental Engineer – Remediation Design Leadership (Seattle, WA)
We are partnering with a well-established, employee-owned environmental and engineering consulting firm with a strong Pacific Northwest footprint to support the growth of their environmental engineering leadership team.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role for a Senior or Principal Environmental Engineer who wants autonomy, long-term ownership, and the opportunity to mentor the next generation of remediation professionals.
The Role:
This position is focused on technical delivery first, with gradual business development responsibility over time. You will lead remediation and cleanup projects while helping develop junior engineers into strong design and consulting professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leading remedial design and site cleanup projects (upland and inland)
• Providing technical oversight and mentoring junior engineering staff
• Supporting project management and client delivery
• Acting as a senior technical advisor across remediation programs
• Building and strengthening long-term client relationships
• Supporting controlled business growth over time
This is not a pure sales role. Technical excellence, mentorship, and delivery leadership are core priorities.
What They’re Looking For
• Senior or Principal level Environmental Engineer
• Professional Engineer (PE) License
• 8+ years of environmental consulting experience
• Strong remedial design and cleanup project experience
• Experience mentoring or developing junior technical staff
• Client-facing experience (preferably with manufacturers, legal, industrial, redevelopment or public sector clients)
• Interest in gradually expanding a personal client base (not required to arrive with a fully portable book)
• Willingness to work in-office a few days per week in Seattle
Compensation & Ownership
• Senior Engineer base salary: $150K–$180K
• Principal Engineer base salary: $200K–$250K

About the Role
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operating variety of machines to manufacture parts or products by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities
- Supervise employees in production departments, including training, motivation and discipline.
- Maintain a professional and respectful work environment, including maintaining confidentiality regarding supervisory and management matters.
- Mentor, lead and provide direction for employees.
- Recommends to plant management procedures, systems, equipment and machinery alterations to reduce costs, resolve problems, ensure product quality, reduce scrap and improve production efficiency.
- Initiates work orders for maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and vehicles.
- Audits hourly employee’s timecards for accuracy to ensure correct charges against production assignments, and updates payroll electronic timecards.
- Administers and enforces company rules, regulations and policies.
- Ensures compliance of safety programs for personnel and machinery.
- Serves as Company representative in first step grievance proceedings as required by the Plant Manager and/or Human Resources Manager.
- Evaluates employee’s overall performance, establishing goals and objectives for proper manufacturing techniques.
- Maintains established housekeeping standards.
- Ensures that all reasonable measures are taken to control the handling and use of materials used in the production process, known to be toxic and/or hazardous.
- Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.
- Inspects and measures parts and products to verify conformance to specifications.
- Directs workers in adjusting machines and equipment to repair products which fail to meet standards.
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.

Qualifications
- High School or Equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 2 or more years of Supervisory experience in manufacturing preferred.
- Must be 18 years or older due to work environment and labor laws.
- Must be able to pass preemployment background, drug/alcohol, and physical screenings.
- Must be able to understand various tags and labels used in the mill.
- Must be able to read and understand production schedule and production cards.
- Must be able to use bar code reader.
- Must be able to work independently, as a team, and be able to work with both internal and external customers.

Qualifications
