2nd Shift Production Manager

A growing U.S.-based custom commercial foodservice equipment manufacturer is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Manager to lead evening operations at its Garland, TX facility. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing stainless steel fabrication and final assembly in a fast-paced, build-to-order environment. The Production Manager will oversee shop floor operations across sheet metal fabrication, welding, polishing, refrigeration, electrical, and final assembly. The position is responsible for validating, updating, and managing subscriber‐level ALI information, ensuring that all records are properly added, removed, or corrected as OSPs transition from TDM-based 911 connectivity to SIP-based connections aligned with FCC requirements. The role supports the broader effort of decommissioning outdated OSP TDM circuits as migration activities move to new SIP Points of Interconnect (POIs).

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Suffolk, VA 23435

Pay: $27-31/hr

Shift: 1st Shift, Mon-Thursday: 7am-530pm (4-10's) on call as needed

Job Summary:

Immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician in Suffolk, VA. The Technician will report daily to the Site Supervisor and support him to provide quality workmanship and high work standards to maintain a professional working environment. Primary responsibilities of this position are to be responsible for the general maintenance needs at the facility and performing general maintenance to equipment as required. Knowledge of wood working tools such as table saws, circular saws, router and drill press is a plus. Must be capable of building small wood items such as platforms, monitor frames and shipping crates. Must be able to perform QC inspections of other trades and perform various general tasks as assigned. Qualified applicants must be a US Citizen, possess a valid driver's license, work Mon-Thurs 10 hour shifts and have at least 3 to 5 years of hands on experience in facilities maintenance and dealing with a wide range of general type services. Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills

Duties & Responsibilities:

Communicates effectively daily with Site Supervisor or client Facility Manager to determine service needs. Coordinates and supervise client sub-contractors while performing service on site. Maintain a strict PM schedule

Performs a wide variety of general corrective maintenance work request. Repairs of Walls, Floors, Doors and any painting and touch up work for beautification of facility

Repair and unclog toilets, urinals, replace and maintain electric valve assemblies and repair/maintain sensors for automatic flush kits, as well as all other plumbing related to the facility

Responsible for exterior landscape clean/touch up and maintaining specific areas clean and free of debris. Exterior daily inspections of landscape, parking area, parking lots, bollards, lighting, etc.

Must be able to repair cabinets, doors including closure devices, repair and paint walls and replace carpet squares. Capable of building small wood items such as platforms, monitor frames and shipping crates.

Attends weekly toolbox safety meetings with Site Supervisor and other associates. Utilizes mandatory safety equipment to perform tasks. Obtains and completes EFS required training.

Secondary responsibilities include having the knowledge to oversee the daily operations, daily communication with the client, building automation adjustments and managing the maintenance/repair needs at the facility.

Qualifications:

HS Diploma

3-5 years of experience related to facility maintenance

Excellent customer service and communication skills. Must have the ability to repair walls, floors, doors and any painting and touch up work for beautification of facility.

Valid US driver's license

Must have an active Secret Security Clearance or ability to apply/obtain upon start date.
