About the role:
The IoT Developer – Smart Manufacturing is responsible for architecting, implementing, and sustaining industrial IoT integrations across manufacturing facilities to enable Smart Factory transformation.
This role operates at the intersection of industrial automation and enterprise systems, connecting plant-floor equipment (PLCs, sensors, robotics, packaging lines, and scanning systems) to enterprise platforms including the Execution Operations Platform (EOP), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ERP systems, and robotics execution systems.
This is a hands-on, plant-facing engineering role requiring real-time problem solving during machine installations, go-lives, and commissioning events. The position directly enables production visibility, material traceability, quality validation, and operational optimization.
The IoT Developer plays a critical role in scaling standardized connectivity architecture across multiple facilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Industrial IoT Integration & Architecture
- Integrate PLCs, robotics, sensors, and machine controllers using MQTT, OPC-UA, REST APIs, and secure messaging protocols
- Develop and maintain edge-to-cloud data pipelines for real-time manufacturing data
- Design standardized machine connectivity frameworks for multi-site scalability
- Implement structured data models for production, quality, and downtime capture
- Ensure secure data transmission and storage aligned with IT and cybersecurity standards
- Develop reusable integration templates to accelerate future deployments
2. Smart Factory Enablement
- Connect Execution Operations Platform (EOP) with MES, ERP systems, and enterprise applications
- Enable material tracking technologies (RFID, barcode, serialization, vision systems)
- Capture and validate real-time production, scrap, yield, and dimensional data
- Support deployment of Control Tower and plant observability systems
- Enable digital twin models of machines and production lines
- Standardize event-driven data structures for enterprise reporting and analytics
3. Automation Expansion & Plant Deployments
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
- Validate integration reliability prior to production go-live
- Support commissioning and startup during compressed installation windows
- Troubleshoot PLC and machine communication during live production
- Work directly with automation vendors, controls engineers, and plant operations teams
- Scale successful implementations across additional facilities
4. Proactive Operational Support & Reliability
- Monitor machine connectivity and data health across sites
- Troubleshoot IoT communication failures and production-impacting issues
- Improve system resilience and fault tolerance
- Reduce downtime through early detection and rapid resolution
- Continuously harden and optimize plant integration architecture
Preferred Qualifications

Corporate Paralegal
We are looking for an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join our Legal Department in El Segundo. The primary focus will be to support our internal Legal Team in day-to-day operations of the Company with potential specializations in contract management, intellectual property maintenance, legal and regulatory compliance initiatives and general corporate and litigation matters. Tasks will include: reviewing, editing, and managing communications, contracts and marketing materials (including coordinating review with other departments such as product, regulatory, and security teams, as necessary); registering and maintaining trademarks and copyrights; reviewing and updating corporate policies and procedures; and coordinating litigation activities, corporate insurance policies, integration and vendor intake and due diligence as part of M&A.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Legal Team with all aspects of contract intake and management, including primary oversight of internal and external-facing legal, privacy and compliance email inboxes and communication, triage and assigning projects to attorneys.
- Support the Legal Team with the maintenance of the corporate intellectual property portfolio, which involves, at minimum, the continuous curation of Company trademarks, copyrights and patents and the ability to properly register and update those items to meet corporate deadlines.
- Support the Legal Team with all aspects of the legal document review process, including expediting, prioritizing, summarizing, and reviewing contracts with prospects, customers, and vendors (such as NDAs, customer agreements, vendor intake and vendor agreements, business associate agreements, and other agreements that may arise).
- Support the on-going maintenance of corporate insurance policies, which involves, at minimum, the ability to collect and organize confidential data from various stakeholders and provide effective communication about issues.
- Assist in the review of marketing related materials.
- Assist in the compliance review of new products, services, and features.
- Research applicable laws, regulations, codes, and publications.
- Update legal reference books and attend legal webinars.
- Coordinate legal documents, bills/invoices, litigation activities, various audits and special projects.
- Support the Legal Team with due diligence for potential M&A and other corporate transactions.
Experience:
- Typically requires a minimum of 5-6 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certification from an ABA Accredited Paralegal program or equivalent; or equivalent work experience.
- Contract/Matter Management System experience.
- Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a law firm or in an in-house setting.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Experience maintaining trademarks, copyrights and patents.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects in unison.
- Internet industry, software licensing, or healthcare experience preferred.
- Compliance experience is a plus. Litigation experience is a plus, but not main focus.

Insight Global is seeking a Growth Specialist for our client, a nonprofit technology social enterprise headquartered in Cleveland that has built and now operates America’s fastest-growing community-based broadband network. The Growth Specialist will play a key role in expanding access to high-speed home internet across Cleveland by helping new customers subscribe to our client's internet service. This role will focus on high-volume outbound calling, community outreach, and lead follow-up to identify potential subscribers and guide them through the process of signing up for service. The Growth Specialist will work closely with the Customer Experience and Installation teams to ensure customers understand installation requirements and experience a smooth onboarding process. Responsibilities:
- Contact potential customers from a provided list to introduce our home internet services and schedule installations.

- Track sales activity, customer interactions, and outcomes in HubSpot and provide regular reports to leadership.
