Position description
The College of Environmental Design (CED) at UC Berkeley invites applications for a pool of qualified lecturers or lecturers in lieu of GSIs to teach studio and non-studio courses for the CED Summer Programs in the following areas: architecture, city planning, urban design, landscape architecture and digital media. Should an opening arise, screening of applicants will primarily take place in the early spring semester for a summer appointment, and will continue as needed into the summer. The number of positions varies, depending upon the needs of the CED Summer Programs.
General Duties: In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), and using Cal's electronic resources for course management. New lecturers will also be expected to participate in a teaching workshop.

* Teaching experience.
* 5 years of work experience since degree.

Job Description:
The Summer Programs Assistant Residence Directors (SPARDs) serve to provide structure and support for the various Summer Programs offered at Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory at Berklee. The primary responsibilities of the SPARDs include but are not limited to: training, support, and supervision of a team of Resident Assistants, serving as a member of the Crisis Response Team, oversight of high-school aged program participants, and management (in conjunction with supervisor) of a residential area of campus. Exciting opportunity to gain experience in on call systems and crisis management.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Live on-campus throughout Summer Programs
Assist with implementing a training program for the Resident Assistants under the guidance of the full-time Summer Programs Staff and Area Supervisors.
Provide supervision to the Summer Resident Assistant team, which includes one-on-one meetings, running weekly staff meetings, and creating leadership opportunities for the team
Prepare buildings for summer program participant arrivals, including coordinating move-in and move-out procedures & logistics, assisting with check-in and check-out procedures, and other tasks as assigned for all Summer Programs.
Serve as a primary on-call staff member, responding to emergencies, assisting with evening curfew checks, and addressing other issues as they arise.
Respond to disciplinary issues and other participant concerns through conduct meetings and one-on-one meetings with participants.
Participate in written and verbal communication with students and parents surrounding conduct concerns, follow-ups and sanctions.
Oversee rounds for buildings.
Scheduling & timecards for Resident Assistants.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently enrolled in a Higher Education/Student Affairs graduate program or comparable level of housing & residential life experience.

The Summer Programs Temporary Operations Assistant is responsible for providing high-level operational support for all Summer Programs. Job Summary
This position is responsible for assisting the Assistant Director for Competitive Sports and Competitive Sport Coordinator with the organization, supervision, and facilitation of Tech Wreck Summer Programming. Plan, organize, and implement fitness programs. Provide group fitness classes, instructional classes, or personal training. These classes may include activity course sections, aerobic exercise, weight training, dance, martial arts, flexibility, and other various conditional formats. Specific duties will be determined based on assignment and unit needs. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: faculty, staff, students, vendors, and visitors.

Position description
The College Writing Programs at the University of California, Berkeley, invites applications for a pool of qualified temporary instructors to teach summer courses in the College Writing Programs should openings arise. The number of positions varies from summer to summer, depending on the department's needs. All positions are handled on a by-agreement basis.
Programs include:
English Language and Culture: Our English for Academic and Specific Purposes courses are aimed at high-beginning through advanced-level students who want to enhance their English language skills, improve job performance, or undertake university work. Courses are offered both online and in person and are grounded in theme-based and project-based learning.
Creative Writing: Courses include short fiction and drama, nonfiction, poetry, and performance and reading. Most courses are 3-week workshops, although a few are in a longer 6-week format. They are offered both online and in person. A record of publication in creative writing is preferred for creative writing teaching candidates.
Public Speaking: We offer introductory, advanced, and online public speaking courses for lower-division students. All are in a 6-week format.
Reading and Writing in the Disciplines: Courses focusing on education; writing in the biological sciences, law, and business; and other disciplines are offered both online and in person.
Reading & Composition (Berkeley students): We offer online sections of required courses for Berkeley undergraduates, who receive priority enrollment. Instructors must be experienced in teaching composition. Course lengths vary from 8 to 10 weeks.
Job duties:
Successful applicants will teach one or more summer courses. Applicants will be responsible for all classes, including crafting syllabi, teaching in a classroom environment, and grading student work. Instructors will also be required to attend faculty meetings.
Successful applicants will be interested not only in teaching but also in being part of a faculty team. Participation in faculty development workshops and ongoing self-evaluation are important to our program.
UC lecturers are academic appointees and are represented by an exclusive bargaining agent, University Council - American Federation of Teachers (UC-AFT). This position is covered by the collective bargaining agreement of the UC-AFT.

Since 1982, the program has invited excelling students from the Bay Area and around the world into a unique academic community. ATDP's Learner Outcomes state that ATDP students will be able to:

Teacher Special Programs (TSP): The TSP will teach within ATDP's summer Elementary Division (ED, grades K-6), Secondary Division (SD, grades 7-12), or Global Programs (GP grades 7-12). This involves designing, and delivering age, grade, and achievement level student-centered curricula for a particular content area within the format and time parameters of a specific course, and whose teaching philosophy is aligned with ATDP's mission and Learner Outcomes.

The City of Renton Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce we are recruiting for Recreation Leaders. We are recruiting for two different programs our Summer Day Camp Program at the Highlands Neighborhood Center and our Summer Meals Program that operates at various Renton parks. As a Recreation Leader you will assist the Recreation Program Coordinators and other City staff with planning, preparing, and implementing theme-based activities for youth ranging in age from 6-14 years old. Activities include field trips, special events, crafts, music, games, STEM instruction and sports. In this role, you'll support content creation, scheduling, and user-generated content (UGC) sourcing that helps bring the e.l.f. brand to life across our social channels. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real experience in social media marketing within a fast-paced, creative environment while contributing to campaigns that excite beauty fans everywhere.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with maintaining and updating the monthly social media calendar
- Source and request user-generated content (UGC) aligned with monthly product and campaign priorities
- Support the creation of engaging social content as needed
- Help schedule posts across social channels, including X, Snapchat, Instagram, and Instagram Stories, in support of marketing campaigns and product launches
- Support scheduling and coordination of weekly TikTok Live sessions
- Monitor social media trends, conversations, filters, and emerging platforms relevant to e.l.f. Cosmetics
- Assist with influencer and community gifting initiatives
- Support the planning and execution of monthly social media giveaways
- Must be based in Los Angeles and able to work in-office 3 days per week
- Must be a rising junior or senior at the time of the internship
- Must be available for the full internship period: June 17th - August 21st
- Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
- Creative mindset with strong multitasking and time-management skills
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Prior experience with social media or marketing is a plus, but not required
- This summer, the e.l.f.tern will support key social initiatives, including content creation and scheduling for summer product launches and early planning for fall content. The intern will also help support the growth and optimization of secondary social channels such as YouTube, Pinterest, X, and Threads, by assisting with posting and performance learnings.
