Required Experience

  • 8-10+ years of project management experience, ideally focused on hospitality, restaurant, or venue launch operations

Operating Rhythm & Governance  

  • Own and continuously improve the Operations operating rhythm (weekly leadership huddles, workstream cadences, monthly reviews, quarterly planning). 
  • Build agendas, pre-reads, and facilitation plans that are decision-oriented and action-driven. 
  • Maintain a decision log, action tracker, and escalation paths; ensure closure and accountability. 
  • Standardize meeting expectations (purpose, pre-work, outputs, owners, due dates). 

Program & Portfolio Management  

  • Run a “PMO-lite” across Ops priorities: roadmap, milestones, dependencies, resource constraints, risks/issues, and mitigations. 
  • Establish clear project fundamentals: charters, timelines, RACIs, stakeholder maps, communication plans, and adoption plans. 
  • Drive consistent status reporting and executive-ready summaries (what changed, what’s stuck, what’s needed). 
  • Partner with Ops leaders to keep deliverables organized and on-time—flagging risks early and driving cross-team resolution. 

Leadership Team Enablement & Stakeholder Management  

  • Support the Executive VP of Operations with priority management and preparation for key touchpoints (leadership meetings, monthly ops reviews).

Qualifications:

Job Summary

The Kirkland Parks and Community Services Department is seeking Recreation Attendant staff for the North Kirkland Community Center. This position acts as on-site City representative for recreation programs and activities. Preschool Park Art and Play is an Art and play minicamp for ages 3-5. Crafts, games, exploring and free play at the playground. Each day will include a craft, story, and some active play. Minicamp is Tuesday-Thursday, July 7-August 13 9am to 2:30pm.

The role of the Recreation Attendant is to provide outstanding customer service and assist in providing operational support to recreation programs, facilities, and events within Parks and Community Services. Recreation Attendants serve as the on-site City representative and may work at City facilities, athletic fields, school gymnasiums, City parks, and/or off-site program locations. Recreation Attendants provide operational support including preparing spaces, assisting in leading and monitoring activities, and performing clerical work. Recreation Attendants aged 18 or older may work without on-site supervision.

The Kirkland Parks and Community Services Department is seeking Recreation Attendant staff for the North Kirkland Community Center. This position acts as on-site City representative for recreation programs, activities and rentals. Performs miscellaneous clerical, and registration tasks. Job Summary
  • Supports the implementation of the City's communications program, including development of print publications, web content, social media, cable TV programming, and news media.
  • Maintains, recommends improvements, and implements changes to the City Constituent Customer Service Portal. Coordinates functions with software vendor and trains City staff on the effective use of the software.
