Position Summary:
We are seeking a Paralegal – Litigation & Regulatory Affairs to join a leading financial services organization supporting the housing finance industry across the United States. This role will support in-house legal counsel with civil litigation matters, regulatory inquiries, legal operations, and process improvement initiatives in a fast-paced corporate legal environment.
Essential Duties:
- Support in-house counsel with civil litigation and regulatory matters.
- Coordinate with outside counsel and internal teams on active legal matters.
- Assist with subpoena responses, regulatory inquiries, and document requests.
- Draft matter summaries and conduct legal and factual research.
- Manage document preservation notices and related tracking processes.
- Maintain legal databases, matter management platforms, and eBilling systems.
- Generate reports, analytics, and documentation for legal leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of recent paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Experience supporting complex civil litigation and regulatory investigations.
- Experience responding to subpoenas, discovery requests, and document production demands.
- Strong understanding of litigation processes from discovery through trial.
Skills and Job-Specific Competencies:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat.
- Knowledge of legal research databases such as Westlaw, Lexis, and PACER.
- Familiarity with eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity or Exterro.
- Experience with eBilling and matter management systems, preferably CounselLink.

A reasonable estimate for the current hourly rate for this role is $45.

Responsibilities

The Sonographer provides diagnostic ultrasound tests for patients in the Maternal Fetal Medicine setting. The Sonographer works independently and with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to pregnant women.
- Explains exam to patient and family prior to the commencement of the test to assure cooperation and optimum test results.
- Prepares patients for ultrasound examination and performs required Fetal Echo scans.
- Acquires anatomical, pathological, and/or physiological data.
- Records/processes sonographic data and other pertinent observations made during the procedure.
- Creates a preliminary report for physician interpretation and review/signature.
- Assists physician during invasive procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
- Recognizes equipment malfunctions and takes appropriate corrective action.
- Responsible for maintaining adequate inventory of ultrasound supplies.
- Follows the accredited laboratory protocols for obtaining two-dimensional images, color flow, Doppler, and m-mode where applicable.
- Rotates as needed to cover Sonographer absences.
- Performs related and other assigned duties as directed.
Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited sonography program with a degree in ultrasonography or equivalent.
- Maintain or be eligible for certification as an American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) in OB/GYN.
- Must provide evidence of continuing education credits to fulfill accreditation requirements.
- CPR certification required.
- Fetal echo certification required.
Experience
- Minimum six months experience as an ultrasound technician working in OB/GYN and/or MFM setting preferred.
Experience Industry: Healthcare
Skills/Abilities:
- Skilled in operating ultrasound equipment.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
