Key Responsibilities
- Handle commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution, including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and dispute resolution
- Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions and other substantive filings
- Manage written discovery and case development in complex business disputes
- Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and support hearings/trials
- Appear in court, arbitrations, mediations, and other proceedings as appropriate
- Communicate directly with clients and provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and cross-functional teams on complex legal issues
Qualifications
- J.D. (Juris Doctor) from an ABA accredited law school
- Licensed to the Bar and in good standing in Pennsylvania (NJ admission is a plus)
- 5+ years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for commercial/business litigation
- Strong motion practice, legal writing, discovery, and advocacy experience
- Proven ability to manage complex matters and deadlines in a fast-paced practice
