Material Logistics Planning Manager

Summary
The Material Logistics Planning Manager oversees the development and execution of strategies that ensure efficient organization of materials, logistics, and supply flow. This role aligns master schedules and production calendars to maintain seamless coordination across operations. This role also monitors inventory levels, supply orders, and resource availability to support uninterrupted production. Additionally, the position serves as a key liaison between internal teams and external vendors, ensuring strong communication and aligned workflows.
Essential Functions:
Process Development:
- Establish foundational systems: Design and implement comprehensive materials management processes, including receiving, inventory control, storage, and distribution procedures
- Create organizational structure: Build materials team roles, responsibilities, and accountability frameworks from the ground up
- Implement tracking and control systems: Develop material flow tracking, inventory accuracy protocols, and performance measurement systems
Ongoing Responsibilities:
- Oversee all materials management activities for the Fort Worth assembly facility, including receiving, inventory control, kitting, and shipping operations
- Develop and implement plans for organizing logistics and supplies in a professional manner
- Responsible for creating and overseeing master schedules and calendars, and monitoring inventory lists and supply orders
- Develop and implement materials flow processes that support our assembly line transformation and handle 30+ concurrent large module builds
- Manage materials counts and inventory levels in JD Edwards MRP system
- Coordinate schedules, deliveries, and work tasks involving other teams or staff members, while acting as a liaison among internal units and external vendors
- Responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of production, purchasing, warehousing, distribution, and financial forecasting services; primary objective is to reduce costs, enhance accuracy, improve customer service, and ensure safety
- Establish and monitor KPIs for materials accuracy, on-time delivery, and cost control
- Lead cycle counting, inventory accuracy initiatives, and root cause analysis of materials discrepancies
- Develop standard operating procedures for materials handling, storage, and movement within the 1,000,000 sq. ft. facility
- Support ISO 9001 and customer audit requirements for materials traceability and control

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed inside and outside with uncontrolled weather conditions.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or related field, or experience in lieu of
- Minimum 10 years of materials management experience in manufacturing environment

- Experience with JD Edwards

- APICS, CPIM, or similar supply chain certifications

Position Summary:
The Project Manager – EPG will play a pivotal role in translating strategic objectives into actionable plans, coordinating project activities, and ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality parameters. This position is based in the Manada Hill Office and requires frequent domestic travel to work onsite at the project locations. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage 3rd party contractors, and serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for 20-4000+ KW simple and complex, low/medium voltage electric power generation system sales projects. Project portfolio will range in size from $50,000 – $20 million.
- Coordinate all project activities: submittals, engineering design, procurement, delivery, construction, and start-up/commissioning, to meet project milestones and deliverables.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing project-related inquiries and concerns.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and requirements:

A retail energy provider (REP) in Houston is seeking a Load Forecasting Modeler to support its large and complex Commercial and Industrial (C&I) customers in the Northeast power markets. This position is responsible for developing and updating short- and long-term forecasting models using Python, SQL, and Machine Learning, as well as providing variance analysis and reporting of retail electricity components.
Responsibilities include:
- Data Management/Analysis: Utilize load, weather data, and economic data to incorporate into load forecasting models.
- Model Development: Build and maintain forecasting models (regression, neural networks, machine learning) to predict demand across different timeframes (short-term, long-term) and trends.
- Weather Integration: Incorporate weather forecasts (temperature, humidity, cloud cover) to adjust for weather-driven load changes.
- Forecast Generation: Produce forecasts for various horizons (e.g., next hour, day-ahead, seasonal peaks) for different customer segments.
- Market Support: Provide forecasts to retail power traders for strategic supply and hedging decisions.
- Reporting & Collaboration: Communicate forecasts, analysis, and potential risks to management, trading desks, and operations.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- ~2-4 years of professional experience developing and maintaining mathematical models, preferably in electricity/power load forecasting or in data analytics supporting a Retail Energy Provider, Independent Power Producer (IPP), or a utility.
- Strong quantitative modeling (regression modeling, including neural-net, simple regression, and hybrid modeling) and statistical analysis (MAD, MAPE, etc.) skills.
- Advanced programming skills (Python, R, SAS, VBA, and Oracle SQL or SQL Server). Experience with LightGBM, CatBoost, and XGBoost is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of and proficiency with data extraction, analysis, and reporting across complex system structures.
- Familiarity with deregulated power ISO markets, portfolio management and optimization, energy supply stack, load forecasting attributes, C&I customer profiling, etc., is preferred.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science (physics/calculus‑based program preferred). Advanced study in business (MBA, leadership, management certificate) is a strong plus.
- An active Certified Consulting Meteorologist (CCM) designation from the American Meteorological Society.
- 10+ years of operational meteorology with demonstrated growth in scope and leadership.
- 3+ years leading, managing, and mentoring team members.
- Significant operational experience in at least five (5) of the following domains:
- Tropical Cyclones (including accompanying severe weather, such as tornadoes and flooding/storm surge)
- Severe Thunderstorms (Hail/Wind/Tornadoes)
- Non-Convective Windstorms
- Mountain Meteorology
- Energy Meteorology (including Renewable Energy)
- Wildfire Weather
- Winter Weather (Snow/Ice)
- Heavy Rainfall and/or Flooding
- Marine Meteorology
- Aviation Meteorology
- Air Quality Meteorology
- Exceptional technical writing skills with a record of high‑quality scientific reports/publications
- Driver’s License (only for positions that require travel)
Preferred Qualifications
- Residency in the Northeast United States
- Prior forensic meteorology experience, investigative research, and/or authored publications pertaining to weather events impacting to the insurance industry, such as severe convective storms, tropical cyclones, flooding/rainfall, or similar.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $125,000 - $145,000 per year. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, the scope of the role, management responsibility, etc.

Overview
A large energy and utilities organization is seeking a Document Control Specialist to support engineering and construction projects throughout the full project lifecycle. This role manages both upfront EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) document intake and backend quality review to ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant, and ready for operational turnover.
Key Responsibilities
- Support document control operations across all project phases, from initial engineering intake to final quality/compliance checks prior to turnover.
- Receive, track, and maintain engineering and construction documents from EPC partners; ensure proper version control, organization, and distribution to internal teams.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and EPC firms to resolve document discrepancies and ensure timely document availability.
- Conduct detailed backend document quality checks to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Ensure all final records meet retention, configuration management, and audit requirements.
- Maintain document tracking logs, metadata, and repositories for accurate traceability and long‑term accessibility.
