Responsibilities:
- Extends reach of on-site radiologists by performing advanced image-guided procedures, as privileged under direct radiologist supervision, including, but not limited to:
- Fluoroscopy procedures
- Esophagrams, swallow studies, upper GI, small bowel studies and barium enemas
- Arthrograms, lumbar punctures, myelograms, epidurals, tube replacements and exchanges, joint injections and aspirations, replacement/exchange of nephrostomy and abscess drainage catheters
- Bone marrow biopsies, thyroid biopsies, non-targeted liver biopsies, superficial mass biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, abscess grams, vascular access and extremity venograms
- Placement of non-tunneled venous access lines such as PICC lines and central venous catheters
- Administers contrast media as necessary, following established protocols and guidelines
- Manages patient communication and assists provider teams with care coordination
- Explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure patient comfort and cooperation during the imaging process
- Obtain and document patient medical history relevant to the imaging procedure, including signed consent. Includes utilization of EPIC, RIS, and PACS systems

The Care Promoter, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is dedicated to the health and well-being of our patients. Compiles patient health information, takes and records vital statistics, takes blood pressure and conducts other basic care treatments. Records patients' medical history and other information such as test results in the medical record.

Draws blood (phlebotomy) and collects other lab specimens; performs waived lab tests.

Maintains supplies & equipment and stocks and sterilizes instruments; practices OSHA safety standards; performs accurate, legal, and ethical documentation at all times.
Upon physician approval and authorization, calls in prescriptions to the pharmacy. Uses communication skills with appropriate medical terminology; and follows appropriate legal and ethical professional conduct. Completes internal certification to use the ChenMed Rx system to support physician medication dispensing.
Processes patient phone messages, returns calls and routes them to other team members as appropriate. Contacts patients to obtain and relay pertinent information from the physician.
Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF circuit design, system integration, and performance optimization, with hands-on experience in taking designs from concept to production.
