Job PurposePURPOSE: The Facilities Equipment Service Coordinator is to oversee and coordinate all aspects of the maintenance team and their activities related to facilities operation within the Honda campus and facility. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure, while minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
RESPONSIBILITY: The Facilities Equipment Service Coordinator is to organize and execute maintenance schedules, lead coordination among all internal teams, external vendors, spare parts and inventory management, and oversee implementation of the site preventive maintenance strategies. Effective leadership of the maintenance activities, this role drives the overall efficiency, safety, and reliability of the facilities operations, ultimately supporting the organizations goals and objectives.
Key Accountabilities- Coordination and Communication: Work with other in-house departments (outside of facilities) on planned and unplanned activity requiring maintenance support related to facilities operations. Assure the building’s facilities’ equipment meets capacity and reliability requirements of all direct and indirect customers across and related to the site.
- Purchasing: Create requisitions to issue purchase orders for maintenance and repair of facilities equipment.
- Technical Knowledge: Apply maintenance expertise in HDMA business planning operations. Facilitate the sharing of knowledge and best practice to impact decisions at Site / Unit / Dept level. Support FAC Operations with mechanical and electrical equipment. Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Honda’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Maximo. Apply analytical and trouble shooting skills to maximize mean time between failures (MTBF) and minimize mean time to recovery (MTTR).
- Technical Management: Support and coordinate operation of Facilities systems including, but not limited to, chillers, air compressors, HVAC, air house units, electrical distribution equipment, cafeteria equipment, meters, lighting, and controls. Manage and maintain documentation for the facilities equipment. Communicate critical updates to site system operators. Identify deficiencies to develop scope of design and construction for renovation or upgrade of existing industrial systems. Responsible for critical thinking, troubleshooting, data collection, experimental procedures, and data analysis techniques to solve problems and recommend facilities improvements.
- Project Management: Implement new strategies and technologies to replace facilities equipment and systems at their end of life (EOL). Manage testing, planning, and maintenance of facilities equipment.
- Reporting and Documentation: Lead and / or support in the bidding, evaluation, and selection process of contractors for the maintenance of facilities equipment. Determine and prioritize project tasks and develop schedule and timelines to achieve maintenance goals on time and within budget. Generate maintenance progress tracking and control documents.
- Training: Train FAC Associates and maintenance personnel on equipment operations related to mechanical and electrical systems. Provide support on an as-need basis. Ensure reference documentation is available and easily accessed.
- High School Diploma

About this Position:
The Asset Management Sr. Specialist is responsible for the lifecycle of regional packaging assets, ensuring optimal utilization, maintenance, and compliance with industry standards. This role involves leading collaborative cross-functional teams and external entities across the US to manage packaging inventory, track asset performance, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and ensure uninterrupted flow of assets supporting auto production.

About this Position:
We are seeking an Indirect Procurement Logistics Category Manager to lead sourcing strategy / category management for logistics services within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
The Indirect Procurement Category Manager is accountable for managing the total N.A. Company spend for a defined category (capex, goods, services, it, logistics, etc) in excess of $250m annually.
The category manager is accountable and responsible for managing procurement and contracts to drive value to both Honda and business users. This position is also responsible for identifying opportunities and effectively implement sourcing solutions. Doing so requires strategic analysis and problem solving by engaging and leading business users / leadership to implement change, understanding Honda’s current position versus market opportunities, and an excellent ability to negotiate along with strong financial and business acumen.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute category strategies for inbound, outbound, and warehousing logistics
- Lead RFQs/RFPs, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management
- Drive cost optimization, service reliability, and risk mitigation across logistics providers
- Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing and Supply Chain
- Monitor market trends and ensure compliance with company policies

Job PurposeThe Electrical Controls Design role provides high quality, reasonably priced, on-time hardware, software, and safety design solutions to ensure stable new model and new technology introduction in all HDMA North American manufacturing facilities.
Key Accountabilities
- Work in an engineering team atmosphere understand design requirements to create/modify automated production equipment.
- Conduct electrical controls design for automated equipment to generate hardware drawings to be used to assemble/build/wire a full controls system for production equipment.
- Conduct electrical design to produce engineering software to create the control architecture for production equipment processes. (i.e. PLC, HMI, Motion Control, and Robotic programming).
- Provide on-site support to install, system up, and mature the control system for production equipment.

About this Position:
The Supply Chain Management Operations Department is responsible for the oversight, standardization and technical leadership of the internal material handling operations at the Honda automobile powertrain and final assembly sites across North America. - Lead the development, documentation, and implementation of processes with production departments and third-party logistic (3PL) companies utilizing engineering tools (MOST, AutoCAD, Visio, QMF, Excel, etc.) required to achieve project and business plan targets.
- Areas of responsibility include manpower planning, process and vanning layout design, expectation sheets development and New Model packaging evaluations
- Identify and implement process improvements in support of business plan objectives and general cost reduction.
- Lead Model SA’s (Situational Analysis) of SCO projects with minor complexity (up to $250,000).
- Identify and lead tasks as prescribed by and maintain Specified Action Plans (SAP). Create and manage SAP’s for projects with limited complexity
- Coordinate with production departments and 3PLs on the investigation of production related issues of significant complexity and coordinate the implementation of countermeasures for complex production related issues.
- Mentor EX1 and EX2 process associates, provide feedback on work output and quality.

About this Position:
The Supply Chain Management Operations Department is responsible for the oversight, standardization and technical leadership of the internal material handling operations at the Honda automobile powertrain and final assembly sites across North America. Job Purpose:
Collaborate with design from feasibility through design phase to achieve a product that can be manufactured within the factory’s capabilities while working with MMC’s to prepare and execute the trial phase of the new model development.
Key Accountabilities:
- Conduct feasibilities studies and detailed confirmations of new technologies, design concepts and manufacturing processes.
- Identify past model problem history, opportunities for cost savings and safety concerns.
- Collaborate with product designers to develop most efficient manufacturing process.
- Ensure a robust process design for mass production combining manufacturing requirements, factory characteristics and project targets.
- Through the New Model development, create and maintain all documents necessary for process, quality, robot/equipment, training to meet certification and support daily production needs for the new model.
- Support launch of the vehicle during initial production at the factory (T stage).
- Lead and support collaborative problem solving activity with team members from final assembly factory, regional new model, and product design.
- Develop capability of self, colleagues, and team through training, mentoring, and sharing of experiences in area of technical expertise and understanding for succession planning and team growth.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial) or equivalent related experience.
Minimum Experience:
2+ years experience.

Job Purpose:
As a Principal CAE Engineer in the Advanced CAE Department, you will be responsible to lead a project or team for CAE model and method creation related to structural based CAE for strength and reliability. Proficient use and understanding of CAE methods contributes to improved optimization, speed, and efficiency of our products and development processes.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and provide technical guidance for a team(s) or project(s) to develop and validate new CAE methods for both specification setting and product verification.
- Develops and evaluates metrics for quality of modeling and analysis.
- Assist in setting the plan for the technical direction of CAE methods development
- Collaborate with principal test and principal design engineers to ensure CAE models are achieving accuracy targets.
- Collaborate with other principal engineers to ensure the CAE methods are meeting the requirements for application to development projects.
- Create documentation for the registration of CAE Models as a verified tool for specification setting and product verification.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- BS in mechanical engineering. Advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience based on education
- Expertise with software such as Simulia’s MODSIM, Abaqus, Optistruct, and Ansa. Also expertise with programming language software such as Matlab, Python, and Excel VBA.
- Expertise with creation of new CAE Models/Methods and performing verification and validation.
- Ability to present complex concepts as simple summaries
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:
- Work is primarily conducted at an office desk. Some time is spent at test facilities for collaboration.

Job PurposeAs a senior member of the Advanced CAE Department, you will be responsible for creating and validating 1D CAE models and processes related to vehicle dynamics, powertrain propulsion & thermal systems, and electrical systems. Proficient use of CAE contributes to improved optimization, speed, and efficiency of our products and development processes.
Key Accountabilities- Develop CAE methods that accurately represent the part or system of interest. Model fidelity should match the type of decision being made with the model. Model development will be for both specification setting early in development and product verification as designs mature. During and after development of a CAE method, conduct validation of the method with respect to the physical system the method represents, to ensure the fidelity needed is achieved
- Collaborate with test and part design engineers to understand the physical part and test procedures to accurately set the CAE model boundaries, constraints, and assumptions
- Create documentation that clearly explains the CAE model inputs, assumptions, setup, process, validation, and outputs
- BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering
- 0 years of experience with Masters or a PhD
- 2 years of experience with BS
- Proficient with 1D CAE such as MATLAB/Simulink/Simscape, CarSim, CarMaker, Simpack/Adams, AmeSim. Also proficient with programming language software such as Python, and VBA
- Experience with the creation of CAE Models and performing verification and validation
- Ability to break down complex concepts into simple summaries
