Job Summary

The Medical-Surgical Nurse Technician is responsible for providing basic patient care of the adult or geriatric patient experiencing general medical conditions or general surgical procedures under the direction of the nursing staff. * Ensures proper technique and accurate preparation of all pharmaceutical products, including oral, IV admixtures, chemotherapeutic, and investigational agents

Job Description:

- Senior residents in their final year of training are invited to apply for our elective residency rotations.

- The rotations are one month long, offering an average of 150 clinical hours to provide a comprehensive experience.

- You will have the opportunity to explore emergency medicine or outpatient medicine, with plans to expand into other specialties.

- Our dedicated academic team will guide you through the rotation application and placement process.

- Emergency medicine rotations are available in multiple states across the country, and outpatient medicine rotations are available nationwide.

- The rotations provide exposure to different practice settings and diverse patient populations, enhancing your professional development and understanding of the field.

Requirements:

- Senior residents in their final year of training in emergency medicine, family medicine, or inpatient medicine are eligible to apply.

- Strong passion for the chosen specialty and a desire to gain valuable clinical experience.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.

- Willingness to embrace new challenges and adapt to different practice environments.

The Opportunity

  • Sign-on bonus available if you join part-time or full-time after residency.
  • Must be a 3rd year resident of a 3-year program or a 4th year resident of a 4-year program.
  • Current IL state license and DEA are required.

 

The Practice

OSF St. Joseph Medical Center – Bloomington, Illinois

  • Medium-sized community hospital with resources and great team culture.
  • Level II Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Stroke Center.
  • 180-bed hospital with an annual volume of 33k.
  • 20-bed ED plus 8 overflow beds with a 22% admit rate and moderate acuity.
  • On-site neonatology, hospice, case management/social work, and life flight is 5 minutes away at the airport.

Our agency is partnering with a large-scale food service provider to find a General Manager (District Level) to oversee a high-volume, multi-site operation within a major school district.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for serving 45,000+ students, requiring a strong operator who can balance people leadership, operational execution, and strategic growth.

What You’ll Be Doing
