Quad is seeking a full-time Recycling Technician at our Lomira, WI facility. Responsibilities of the position include:
- Coordination of materials to be recycled within the plant with the use of a forklift or tugger.
- Removal of all recyclables from around the plant
- Depositing recyclables into the recycling system
- Operating the bailing and shredding system
- Separating and storing the various grades of recyclables for shipment
- Loading semi-truck trailers and rail cars
- Complete basic forms for billing and service orders
- Comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations.
- Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures.
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts - either 7am-5pm or 9am-7pm
- The days of these roles will be either Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday OR Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Overtime is always a possibility, but never guaranteed. Wages start between $18.00 - $21.00 / hour or more based on relevant work experience and stability with work history. Other responsibilities of the position include:

JOB SUMMARY:
As a Project Manager, you will be accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of any given project. Additionally, the Project Manager ensures budget and deadlines are met and consistent with project standards.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Create a Schedule of Values for our pay applications and submit to the General Contractor.
- Analyze the construction schedule and create a schedule for submittals, material ordering and estimated field labor durations & project completion.
- Create submittals for doors, frames and hardware from architectural plans and specification.
- Manage and respond to electronic contractual changes (RFIβs, PCβs, Etc.). Quote changes that affect our material and/or labor cost. Distribute Change Order Due letters to the contractor.
- Order materials (Purchase orders) from approved submittals for timely delivery according to the construction schedule or as agreed upon with the contractor for billed and stored material.
- Support the Performance Door project field supervisor for the timely delivery of materials according to the construction schedule. Send field use drawings periodically reflecting updated schedules incorporating project revisions.
- Provide monthly pay application to the accounting department including back up documentation for stored or FSC materials.
- Actively pursue contractual βChange Ordersβ from βprice and proceedβ CO Due letters. Take an active role in collecting money.
- Approve weekly vendor invoices for payment. Check vendor costs against our purchase order.

Radius Recycling is currently hiring a Regional Pallet Manager (RPM) for our Recycling Services division! The RPM we are seeking will be responsible for management and oversight of the Total Pallet Management (TPM) program across multiple sites throughout Illinois, Central Ohio, and Texas. This involves a deep understanding of the local pallet and labor markets to ensure maximum commodity revenues and appropriate outlets. This individual will serve as a key player through demonstrating his/her operational and business acumen in the research, onsite evaluation, analysis, planning, and implementation of critical TPM initiatives.
This position will require a high level of travel. The primary goal of this position is to achieve excellence in all facets of services related to offering fully comprehensive TPM programs for the Company Suppliers for their returned pallet trailers. Continuous process analysis and improvement is required to ensure maximum efficient processes, as well as ensuring up-time for grinding/processing equipment in the TPM supply channel.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Responsible for all operational oversight and development associated with each TPM location within an assigned region.
- Oversees multiple 3rd party TPM locations and has P&L oversight for those sites within his/her region. 3rd party crews at these facilities may work multiple shifts and can range in size from 15 to 25 employees per shift.
- Must be able to analyze performance and efficiencies of the operation of sites within region, create and implement action plans, and partner with onsite leaders to drive improvement of site, as needed.
- Must be able to give guidance and direction to both 3rd party managers and customer leadership within assigned region.
- Must be a problem solver and overcome frequent obstacles.
- Acts as a mentor and subject matter expert to 3rd party managers within assigned region.
Environmental and Health & Safety (H&S)
- Follows all Radius Recycling and property owner EHS protocol and policies. Also, ensure that onsite contractors comply with these procedures.
Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelorβs degree preferred
- 8 - 10 yearsβ in TPM and the broader pallet industry.
- Well versed in nationwide pallet pricing and provider network.
- 5 yearsβ experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Preference for candidates located in a geographic area near the assigned region.
- P&L responsibility experience required.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint computer skills required.
- Ability to present information effectively and communicate at a high level in response to questions or inquiries from groups of managers, customers, and potential clients.
- Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required.
- Must possess a valid driverβs license to allow travel to various TPM locations
- Requires willingness and ability to travel. Up to 100% travel required.
- Must possess general knowledge of federal, state and local statutes governing HR practices.
- Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of both internal and external attained knowledge.

Record parts usage and notify inventory personnel when stock levels are low.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing tasks thoroughly.
Ability to work safely in an industrial environment with moving machinery.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Experience in plastics recycling, extrusion, or similar industrial environments.
Familiarity with CMMS software for PM documentation.
Knowledge of wastewater treatment equipment and processes.
Basic welding, fabrication, or electrical troubleshooting skills.
Working Conditions Industrial recycling environment with exposure to noise, heat, dust, and moving equipment.
Frequent walking, climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Standard 5 β 10 hour day work weeks.

Description To assist, perform, and execute various supervised tasks throughout the plant effectively and efficiently.
The success of this position is based on effectively carrying out the following Essential Functions of the Position.
Perform various tasks related to manufacturing processes Communicate effectively with teams, coworkers, management, and office personnel Maintain a clean work environment for all members, ensuring waste is disposed of properly, dumpsters are emptied and recycling duties are complete Grounds maintenance interior and exterior β minor building repairs Assist with dust collection cleanup Work independently and in a team environment Operate a forklift safely Collect trash and empty each plant dumpster into the compactor Collect recycling and dispose in appropriate dumpster Remove scrap pallets from facility Empty dumpster into trash compactor Empty cardboard bins around the plant and place in compactor Repair wood trucks Weatherproof the building and replace window panes Test emergency lighting throughout the plant Check garage doors for proper operation Assist in wastewater disposal Assist in loading scrap pallets on trucks Complete project requests made by management, production employees and office personnel β Including grounds and building cleanliness requests Delivers and picks up materials/tools in an efficient and timely manner Other duties as assigned Qualifications Proven team player with positive attitude.
