As a Staff Product Security Engineer, you will serve as a technical architect of trust and the primary connective tissue between Security, Product, and Engineering teams. As a senior technical member of the team, you will exercise significant latitude in defining technical objectives and architectural approaches to complex challenges. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will:

• Architect and maintain advanced build tooling to automate and accelerate vulnerability remediation across all engineering pillars.

• Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) and evaluate third-party security tools to enhance our security posture without compromising developer velocity.

• Design and develop core security features, including FIPS compliance, TLS/Encryption, Secrets Rotation, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and Certificate Management.

• Drive root-cause analysis and triage for complex, product-wide stability issues related to security infrastructure.

• Engineer specialized observability tools, such as encryption inventories, to audit and measure security standards during feature delivery.

• Author comprehensive design specifications and test plans for cross-component security features, providing technical clarity in the face of ambiguity.

• Elevate the team's technical bar through high-quality code reviews, documentation standards, and active mentorship of engineering talent.

• Partner across organizational lines, collaborating with internal stakeholders and senior management to resolve customer escalations and align with long-term objectives.

We're excited about you if you have (Required Qualifications):

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience) with 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.

• Deep technical expertise in containerized environments, specifically Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker.

• Strong command of general-purpose and scripting languages, including Java, Python, Go, and Bash.

• Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Helm to automate secure infrastructure rollouts.

• Expert-level experience automating complex CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

• Exceptional troubleshooting skills with a track record of identifying root causes for site outages and resolving P1 escalations.

• Experience with Post-Quantum Cryptography to support upcoming product transitions.

• Practical experience with FIPS 140-3, TLS 1.3, and modern encryption standards.

As a Senior Software Engineer - Engineering Productivity at Reliable Robotics, you will design, and implement software to support the development, analysis, and certification of automated aircraft systems. You will work closely with product owners and end users to develop solutions that enable and optimize engineering development workflows. The software you produce will be critical to the development and certification of the first fully autonomous aircraft.

Responsibilities

In your role as an internal tool developer, you will develop applications, infrastructure, and tools used by engineering to capture product requirements and interface definitions, model the product architecture and design, and reduce and analyze flight and lab test data. You will supercharge the engineering organization's efficiency and effectiveness by streamlining tools and processes. You will work with other teams and stakeholders to establish technical and UX design requirements for these projects and own the "plan, code, build, test, release, deploy" lifecycle of these applications and services.

• Experience designing performance tests that provide useful insights into specific aspects of performance.

• Solid understanding of basic performance theory - in particular a very good understanding of latency, throughput, and concurrency and how they relate to each other.

• Strong understanding of the types of workloads they'll be testing Ideally they should have specific experience creating performance tests for the specific product area they'll be working on (SQL, ML, etc).

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

The qualified candidate has at least 2 years of food industry labeling experience and is a raving fan of the Trader Joe's concept. A Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Food Science is strongly preferred. This role is based in our office in Boston, MA.

The Nutrition Labeling & Regulatory Specialist is responsible for:

• Review and approval of ingredient, nutrition labeling and regulatory information for compliance with Federal labeling and policy regulations (FDA, USDA), other regulatory entities (Organic certifiers, Kosher, etc.) and Trader Joe's private label expectations.
• Technical reviews of product specifications, nutrition facts, ingredient and allergen statements, and packaging artwork.
• Supporting Category Managers/Product Developers in product development work. This includes providing recommendations on potential labeling issues (based on scientific, technical literature, and policy reviews) and providing resolution and/or offer suggestions when working on new product labels or product reformulations/revisions.
• Working with Category Managers/Product Developers and vendors to quickly address and revise any incorrect documentation.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with internal and external teams to manage multiple projects and maintain focus on improving time-to-market for product-related projects and business priorities.
• Reviewing artwork/packaging before finalizing to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance and to make sure the information is consistent with Trader Joe's brand standards.
• Working with Trader Joe's Design team to proactively address issues affecting product labeling.
• Working with Trader Joe's Food Safety/QC team to address any issues related to allergen labeling.
• Remaining current on Food Law, Nutrition Labeling Regulations, and nutrition trends.
• Working with internal teams to update and maintain product portal databases and other documentation critical to ensuring Trader Joe's brand standards are being met.
• Supporting the Customer Relations team in responding to technical nutrition and science-based customer and store inquiries.
• Working collaboratively with other departments.

The qualified candidate is:

• Able to translate technical information into audience appropriate summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, organization, verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor of Science in Nutrition or Food Science; Registered Dietitian or Masters preferred.
• 2+ years of food industry labeling experience in FDA and USDA food laws and regulatory requirements of packaged products.
