Safety / Quality Control Manager Needed.

We have a current opportunity available for a talented individual that can oversee Safety and Quality Control for a Contractor in the Bethesda, MD area. This is a permanent position and not project based and gives you the opportunity to be part of a highly qualified group of safety experts as well as oversee the quality control. Additionally, all projects are local so virtually no travel is required. The ideal candidate will have large project experience with a minimum of 3 years experience working in a Safety & Quality Control capacity and have certifications such as OSHA 510, CHST, ASP, CSP, or USACE EM385.

Job Requirements
- Board Certified Safety Professional - CHST Certification or OSHA 510
- A four year degree is required - Safety degree is preferred
- 3 Years minimum experience as a Safety / Quality Manager
- 1 years experience on major construction projects
- Candidates must have documented experience creating & editing detailed and organized information tracking systems
- Familiarity with all applicable regulations
- Someone with the ability to train staff and subcontractors is preferred

Responsibilities

The Sonographer provides diagnostic ultrasound tests for patients in the Maternal Fetal Medicine setting. The Sonographer works independently and with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to pregnant women.
- Explains exam to patient and family prior to the commencement of the test to assure cooperation and optimum test results.
- Prepares patients for ultrasound examination and performs required Fetal Echo scans.
- Acquires anatomical, pathological, and/or physiological data.
- Records/processes sonographic data and other pertinent observations made during the procedure.
- Creates a preliminary report for physician interpretation and review/signature.
- Assists physician during invasive procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
- Recognizes equipment malfunctions and takes appropriate corrective action.
- Responsible for maintaining adequate inventory of ultrasound supplies.
- Follows the accredited laboratory protocols for obtaining two-dimensional images, color flow, Doppler, and m-mode where applicable.
- Rotates as needed to cover Sonographer absences.
- Performs related and other assigned duties as directed.
Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited sonography program with a degree in ultrasonography or equivalent.
- Maintain or be eligible for certification as an American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) in OB/GYN.
- Must provide evidence of continuing education credits to fulfill accreditation requirements.
- CPR certification required.
- Fetal echo certification required.
Experience
- Minimum six months experience as an ultrasound technician working in OB/GYN and/or MFM setting preferred.

Scope:
The Sr Manager, Quality Systems leads the automation process of our quality systems including the transformation of the quality system to digital and moving to a paperless quality system fully compliant with part 11 of Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations. This position ensures compliance to Quality System processes and procedures, Internal and External audits, and Certifications. This includes GMP, Customer Audits, external certifications such as SQF and Kosher, and customer complaint investigations.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the development and implementation of our digital Quality Monitoring Schemes (QMS)
- Lead and manage our continuous improvement program to include leading the Root cause and Corrective Action process (RCA)
- Manage the Consumer Complaint program, to include logging, investigation and reporting of consumer complaints and aging materials as part our continuous improvement program
- Assures compliance to Internal and External Standards. This includes leadership over internal and external Audits and Certifications (GMP and Customer Audits, Certifications such as SQF and Kosher)
- Leads the automation process of the quality system (digital transformation)
- Manage the Consumer Complaint program (logging, investigations and reporting) and manage the aging and hold materials
- All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry or related field with 10 years’ experience is required.
- PCQI Certification, HACCP Certification, experience with GFSI schemes,
- Six Sigma / process improvement experience is preferred
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Power BI, and computer system architecture principles
- Good communication/interpersonal skills: Interacting with all levels of the organization
- Must be extremely organized, accurate and detail oriented
- Be a critical thinker with significant problem-solving skills and known techniques
- Must be a self-starter with excellent attention to detail

DAY TO DAY:
The Auditor, Quality Control & Billing Data position is responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of billing and collection processes, data, and supporting software applications within Patient Financial Services. This role specifically focuses on billing software updates, including Medicare and commercial insurance fee schedule updates, diagnosis and code updates, and system automation changes that impact billing and collection workflows, assist with compliance audits. The position executes test plans, develops and documents test cases, and performs post‑implementation validation to ensure system changes function as intended and do not negatively impact billing accuracy, reimbursement, or compliance. The Quality Control Lead is responsible for overseeing daily QC activities, ensuring products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
