The Integrated Systems Department supports Raytheon by providing world-class weapon systems engineering. What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have

About the School of Computing Instruction at the Georgia Institute of Technology

With more students graduating with a Computer Science degree than any other major at Georgia Tech and the Institute's requirement that every student complete at least one programming course, quality instruction on the foundations of computing has never been more important. The School of Computing Instruction (SCI) was created to serve these critical needs within Georgia Tech and beyond. Our award-winning teaching-focused faculty have three core missions:

Atlanta, GA

The School of Computing Instruction (SCI) at Georgia Institute of Technology within the College of Computing was recently founded to recognize the significant contributions of CS teaching-track faculty. We invite applications for multiple full-time and long-term faculty positions. The official appointment of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer will be made depending on past teaching experience. Both positions are offered with renewable contracts with an expectation to start in 2025 on Georgia Institute of Technology Atlanta campus. Summer teaching for additional compensation is typically available. In addition, SCI faculty are typically allowed to teach at one of Georgia Tech's multiple study-abroad campuses (Berlin, Barcelona, Metz, etc.) during the summer.

THE OPPORTUNITY

- Create initial designs, assist to define functional specifications for new machines and systems, develop estimates and budget, assure procurement of parts and systems, monitors electrical equipment fabrication, conduct vendor/contractor management, deliver complete and current technical documentation, and oversee installation and startup of projects that range from simple modifications of existing machinery to large-scale expansion projects.
- Have hands-on involvement with equipment and processes by being available to the operators and maintenance personnel and gaining detailed knowledge of the process.
- Provide technical expertise in the maintenance, modification and installation of equipment and machinery in the tire manufacturing process, including technical assistance for problem solving analysis.
- Participate in all facets of project management including: Economic justification, design, vendors/procurement, installation, start-up, qualification, machine acceptance, training for operations & maintenance, project reviews and technical documentation.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering along with demonstrated successful project management experience. Associates degree with extensive experience may be considered.

Proven electrical design skills, and the ability to deal with electrical, electronic and mechanical tire manufacturing equipment.

Minimum of 5 years industrial electrical design experience, preferably in manufacturing/industrial equipment.

Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to set and achieve goals with minimum supervision. The applicant must be able to develop positive relationships with customers.

Well organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Demonstrated solid teamwork, communication, and planning skills required. Previous project management experience or team leadership experience is preferred.

Our client, an international cloud-based booking and property management platform, is looking for a Customer Support Advisor who'll assist customers for the North American market.

Main Responsibilities

This is a fast paced environment and the ability to multitask and to work well under pressure is essential. This role is a customer-facing position, and employees in this role regularly interact directly with customers to provide support, resolve issues, and create positive experiences for customers.

• Provide multi-channel support and advice to resolve customer queries by phone, chat
• and web portal methods equally comfortably
• Expected daily volume of 30-50 contacts daily at full capacity
• Resolve 85% of customer issues at 1st point of contact
• Assist customers to maximize their success through understanding how best to use company's technology, and resolve any technical problems they may be experiencing with the software
• In addition to technical and usage issues, handle general business enquiries, usually related to guest reservations, and interact with major travel agencies such as , Expedia, Airbnb, Agoda etc.
• Set up screen share sessions in order to troubleshoot more complex issues including issues related to company's software suite and Online Travel Agency connections for example
• Escalate genuine technical to 2nd line support or the R&D Team using the CRM system
• Meet and exceed customer service KPIs consistently
• Identify issue trends and report these to the management team
• Assist in producing help articles and tools in company's University and for internal use

Candidate Profile

This is a customer-facing position and employees in this role regularly interact directly with customers to provide support, resolve issues, and create positive experiences for customers—even when customers may be frustrated or upset. Accordingly, employees must have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle these situations with professionalism, patience, and effective communication.

• Must be currently based in Dallas, TX and legally authorized to work in the United
• States.
• Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree required
• 3-5 years of experience in a Customer Support/SAAS Software Support role solving
• issues on the phone, email and live chat
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Tech-savvy with strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills to identify root
• causes
• Ability to convey complex technical information in a simplified and easy to
• understand manner to a general audience

Manufacturing Technical Specialist

Location: Rockford, IL

Hire Type: Contract (12 months with strong potential for conversion)

Pay Range: $27–$40/hour (based on experience)

Sterling Engineering is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer in the Rockford area to hire a Manufacturing Technical Specialist. This role supports production operations in a high-quality, precision manufacturing environment and is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and hands-on manufacturing experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily production operations by executing and maintaining manufacturing processes
• Troubleshoot production and quality issues and assist with implementing corrective actions
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications
• Work closely with production teams to resolve operational challenges and improve efficiency
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and updates to standardized work procedures
• Support Lean manufacturing practices and process improvement efforts
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, production support, or a technical operations role
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, precision assembly, or production testing
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints (GD&T preferred)
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or production-related issues
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives
• Experience working in a regulated environment (ISO 9001 or similar) is a plus
