The Opportunity
This is a hands-on, high-impact role within our virology group. You will work under the supervision of a senior scientist, contribute to day-to-day operations and data quality, and directly support DC candidate selection and product characterization.
What You’ll Do:
Support virology lab operation
- Support BSL-2/BSL-2+ operations, including procurement, instrument commissioning/qualification, biosafety practices, inventory, sample tracking (ELN/LIMS), and facility/vendor interfaces.
Neutralization & titering assays
- Establish, execute, and troubleshoot in vitro neutralization assays under guidance, using reporter virus (e.g., luciferase/fluorescence readouts) and immunostaining formats.
- analyze and interpret IC₅₀; establish acceptance criteria, controls, and data QC for reproducible decision-making.
- Contribute to potency assay development, optimization, qualification, and transfer in alignment with ICH guidelines.

- Create and manage master seed / working pools for characterized mutant strains as needed.
- Perform plaque purification across multiple rounds to isolate pure clones; confirm clonality and fitness characteristics prior to scale-up.
Cross-functional impact
- Partner closely with protein sciences, discovery biology, and external CROs to align assay timelines, materials, and data packages; present crisp summaries and recommendations to senior leadership.

What You’ll Bring:
Minimum qualifications
- B.S or M.S. with 2+ years of hands-on experience in virology, microbiology, molecular biology, or related field (industry preferred).
- Demonstrated expertise with reporter virus or immunostaining neutralization assays in BSL-2/2+ labs, including plate-based readouts and assay statistics.
- Hands-on experience with plaque purification and clonal characterization.
- Proficiency with IC₅₀, MOI calculations, and assay troubleshooting.
- Strong mammalian cell culture skills (adherent and suspension), impeccable documentation, and GLP-minded data hygiene.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience establishing or significantly expanding BSL-2/BSL-2+ capabilities (equipment selection, SOPs, IBC/EHS alignment).

The Role: Make an Impact
The Key Account Management Intern will support responsibilities across sales, marketing, and data analytics to help drive performance at key high-growth e-Commerce retailers. From your EXPERTISE to ours
Key responsibilities for this position include:
Primary Project: Build a sales dashboard for Fresh Direct that provides an overview of sales and promotional performance at a Universal Product Code (UPC) level to help strengthen field sales planning and execution.
- Develop a dashboard that uploads data from the Fresh Direct Insights Hub and then generates key charts and graphs outlining UPC sales and promotional performance across the category.
- Prepare key findings within the following categories: high/low performing products, gaps in assortment, promotional formatting and optimization recommendations to share with the Revenue Growth Management team and the Omnichannel Marketing team.
- Document these findings, and be prepared to attend meetings with Fresh Direct, alongside the Sales Manager, where you will be asked to present your key findings and recommendations.
- Present the dashboard, from data upload through chart/graph generation, your findings, and key recommendations to the leadership team at summer's end.
Secondary Project: Conduct a full-scale audit of content on Amazon Fresh and Fresh Direct (manual for Fresh Direct; with Dataweave support for Amazon).
- Perform basic audit of portfolio and identify any gaps and recommend any optimizations across carousels, product titles, bullet points, and other content areas.
- Identify top-performing brands/products at retailer using Unify, and then analyze product detail pages, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for our own listings.
- Develop a framework for tracking post-internship results, including suggested KPIs and timelines for expected performance lifts.

Role accountabilities:
- Prepare construction documents for mechanical and process piping systems such as process exhaust, PCW (Processed Chilled Water), UPW (Ultra-Pure Water), specialty gas/chem, and drains.
- Knowledge of pipe sizing and flow rate calculation for liquids and gasses preferred.
- High Tech industry knowledge of materials specs preferred.
- Strong familiarity with the process of developing constructible packages based on client and tool vendor provided information and templates is required.
- Experience surveying and documenting existing conditions and identification of utility points of connection (POC).

BHE GT&S has an exciting career opportunity for a Gas Transmission Operations Supervisor at our 24HR. Smithville Station located in Smithville, WV.
ResponsibilitiesSupervise employees and contractors engaged in the operation and maintenance of natural gas handling facilities and related equipment.
Ensure the safe reliable and efficient operation of natural gas production and transmission facilities and equipment.
Monitor and inspect job sites facilities and databases to ensure company procedures are followed and that compliance is maintained relative to all applicable local state and federal regulatory requirements.
Maintain a proactive planning and scheduling process to effectively utilize manpower and complete tasks within the time schedules established.
Develop implement and monitor budgets for O&M and Capital Projects.
Manage projects (e.g. generate prioritize schedule scope estimate requisition materials contract track and document).
Communicate across varied disciplines to complete tasks and resolve issues/act as a liaison with public officials' landowners' regulatory personnel contractors and company employees.
Train evaluates and coach direct reports to enhance job performance and ensure qualification to perform required tasks.
Participate in facility audits and issue resolution.
Administer and adhere to company policies and the union contract.
Minimum 9 years of work experience in the Operation, Maintenance and Construction of natural gas transmission and storage facilities or related work experience in the Operation, Maintenance & Construction of power plants (natural gas, coal or nuclear) OR,
Minimum 7 years of work experience in the Operation, Maintenance and Construction of natural gas transmission and storage facilities or related work experience in the Operation, Maintenance & Construction of power plants (natural gas, coal or nuclear) and an associate degree in a related field OR,
Minimum 5 years of work experience in the Operation, Maintenance and Construction of natural gas transmission and storage facilities or related work experience in the Operation, Maintenance & Construction of power plants (natural gas, coal or nuclear) and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Knowledge of and experience in the Operation, Maintenance and Construction of natural gas transmission and storage facilities.
Specific experience with these types of facilities and their related ancillary equipment; natural gas transmission pipelines, compressor stations, storage wells and measurement & regulation stations.
Understanding and experience with the implementation of company policies/procedures and compliance with applicable regulations pertinent to the position (i.e. DOT, OSHA, FERC, OQ, environmental, etc.).
Understanding of budgeting (capital and O & M) and purchasing (material procurement, service and equipment contracting, etc.) processes.
Ability to effectively supervise a diverse work group.
Proven planning, organizing and prioritization skills.
Ability to communicate across a broad range of disciplines to develop rapport, synergies and effective relationships.
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of logical problem analysis to facilitate the development of solutions and options to resolve problems.
Proficiency in the compilation and evaluation of records, reports and drawings in written and database systems (i.e. engineering schematics, inspection databases, budget reports, financial accounting systems).
Ability to effectively utilize a personal computer and the associated programs, systems and databases.
Prior supervisory experience in a related operations or technical field preferred.
Education:
Associate (Typically two years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess an associate degree.)
