This opportunity is in Woodburn, Indiana in our BF Goodrich tire plant. Woodburn is a small town located about 30 mins east of Fort Wayne, IN. Fort Wayne is the cultural and economic center of northeastern Indiana and the second largest city in Indiana. Established in 1961, our plant makes passenger and light truck tires.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- The Electrical Engineer provides project management and technical support for the design and construction of electrical site work, utilities, and buildings. Education and work experience requirements
- BS Electrical Engineering for Design and Procurement Phases with 5+ years of experience on industrial projects preferred. Degree or Significant Experience for Industrial Construction and acceptance phases 5+ years of experience with degree or 10+ years of experience with field supervision on industrial projectsrequired.
- Professional Engineering License is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
1 - Design Phase
a) Work with the design teamdailyto answer questions, monitor the design, and evaluate progress.
b) Participate in design reviews at 30%, 60%, 90%, and final detail design review and IFC documentation.
c) Participate in 3D Model conflict resolution by disciplines.
d) Participate in the analysis of design proposals as part of the Michelin Design Team under the direction of the Michelin Design leader.
e) Conduct analysis and provide weekly reports concerning the proposed technical solutions, costs, staffing plan, completion schedule,permittingplans, and other details provided by each EPC. Evaluate and grade the proposals providing recommendation to Michelin.
f) Provide a risk analysisforthe technical concepts for all systems and equipment.
g) AssistMichelin with change management by evaluating technical solutions, completing estimates, providing a riskanalysisand supporting the procurement manager as needed with information.
2 - Procurement Phase
Review material and construction packages with the EPC company prior to issue. Provide a report concerning the quality of the package and adherence to the contract requirements.
b) Review the top 2 responses to each procurement package. Provide a report concerning the quality of the package and adherence to the contract requirements.
c) Review material and equipment shop drawings after review by the EPC company. Provide a report concerningthe adherenceto the contract requirements.
3 - Construction Phase
a) Participate in pre-construction meetings and provide input and comments to the meeting to add value to the construction process.
b) Planning for construction and authorization to start construction.
c) Validatereadiness of GC and subs for task execution based on preplanning action list.
d).Finalizea workscope and schedule with Site management.
e). Setup safety work expectations with GC and subs
f). Setup QA and task acceptance expectations with GC and subs.
g).FinalizeandapproveSchedule targets for GC and subs. Supplement schedule with the risk matrix and recovery plans.
h) Authorization to start construction.
c) Determine a construction material testing programin syncwith the construction activity. Quality testing concerning equipment testing, cable testing, welding, etc. must be considered in the testing plan.
d) Manage the on-site operations of the quality test technicians who will execute the quality testing plan. Following NETA testing guidelines. Receive and analyze testing reports. Takeactionsto minimize schedule impact if a test does not pass.
e) All activities will havean initialinspection conductedperthe pre-construction meeting. Witness the work and approve of the methods andthe final result. Work with the contractor on the remedies and deficient items.
f) Afterinitialinspection and approval of method and results confirm that all work will match theinitialinspection requirements. Monitor andobservethe quality of the work and drive corrections and punch list process to achieve the correct level of quality.
g) Make observations concerning the work methods, equipment, rigging, etc. used on site by the contractor.Record violations of Michelin rules, regulations, goodpractices. Makecorrections asnecessary in the field. Special focus shall be made on fall protection, rigging, Lockout, Tagout, Tryout, Arc flash safety, shock hazard protection, and welding.
h) AssistMichelin with change management by evaluating technical solutions, completing estimates, providing a riskanalysisand supporting the procurement manager as needed with information.
i) Track system installation versus major milestones andidentifyconflicts and risks of late milestone completion.
j) Answer RFI's, evaluate Change Orders as delegated by theteamleader. Participate in project reviews withMichelinProject Team.
k) Attend weekly contractormeetingsand weekly Safetymeetings.
4 - Final Completion and Acceptance
a) Evaluate the design documents and make acceptance filesin accordance withMichelin direction.
b) Ensure the contractor develops a punch list and corrects all items in preparation for building acceptance.
c) Inspect the completed areas and record acceptance or non-acceptance on the documents. Drive the contractor to complete the non-accepted items to meet the contract completion dates.
d) Coordinate with Michelin Construction, safety, environmental, and maintenance and includetheir representativesand comments in the final acceptance process and documents.
e) Verify as built drawings. Check all drawings against physical installation. Note items where the as built is not correct and drive the EPC contractor to properly complete theas-builtdrawings.

We provide environmental sampling services for soil, ground water, and soil vapor with Geoprobe 7822DT, 66DT, 5400, and 54DT drill rigs to environmental consultants and more.
Job Overview:
As a DPA Environmental Driller/Geologist/Scientist, you will be able to develop your knowledge of environmental drilling with a variety of drilling techniques, locations, and equipment. You will be trained by our DPA Team of managers and drillers with Geology and Environmental Science degrees and over 50 years of combined drilling experience.
License/Certification:
· Valid Driver’s License (Required)
· Class A CDL (Preferred but Flexible)
· 40 Hour OSHA Hazwoper / 8 Hour Hazwoper Refresher (Preferred but Flexible)
Job Responsibilities:
· Perform drilling operations, sampling, well installation and abandonment tasks while adhering to all Direct Push Analytical Corp. safety plan, policies, and standards and the safety requirements set by our clients or location owners where we operate.
· Maintains record log of drilling activities.
· Works with onsite consultants for job prep, onsite partnership, post job completion as needed.
· Trains and directs Driller Helpers.
· Use required Personal Protective Equipment in accordance with DPA Safety policies.

Summary
We’re seeking an entry level Reliability Engineer on a long term contract with a strong mechanical troubleshooting focus to service, maintain, and support complex automated production systems. While this role will interact with controls and PLCs occasionally, the primary day to day work centers on diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, motors, belting, couplings, hydraulics and pneumatics during production and installation activities.
Key Responsibilities
Perform hands on mechanical servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment: conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, couplings, shafts, motors, belts/chains, actuators, and material handling systems.
Diagnose mechanical root causes of failures and implement corrective actions to minimize repeat events.
Execute and refine preventive maintenance (PM) tasks focused on lubrication, alignment, tensioning, inspection, and mechanical adjustments; update PM procedures.
Support installation, alignment, and mechanical commissioning of new or modified automation equipment; rigging and mechanical assembly as needed.
Work with basic electrical and control elements when necessary (motor starters, basic wiring checks), but escalate complex PLC/programming issues to controls specialists.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly prints, and SolidWorks-derived prints or simple CAD exports.
Use hand tools and mechanical diagnostic tools safely and effectively (torque wrenches, dial indicators, laser alignment tools, vibration meters, infrared thermography, hoists).
Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment history in the CMMS; recommend spare parts and mechanical upgrades.
Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and vendor technicians; clearly document and communicate mechanical issues and solutions.
Follow all site safety procedures (LOTO, PPE, confined space, fall protection) and contribute to a safe working environment.
Required Qualifications
Relevant hands on mechanical/maintenance experience in a manufacturing or automation environment ? a degree is not required; equivalent technical training, certifications, military experience, or demonstrated on the job experience is acceptable.
0?3 years? experience in industrial maintenance or mechanical troubleshooting (internships/coops count).
Strong mechanical aptitude: bearing replacement, gearbox inspection, belt/chain tensioning, motor coupling/alignments, basic hydraulic/pneumatic servicing.
Comfortable using diagnostic and test equipment (multimeter for basic checks, torque tools, alignment tools, hand tools).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation, reporting, and CMMS exports.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a great communicator and collaborative problem solver.
Able to work shifts, overtime, and participate in an on call rotation as required.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
Familiarity with SolidWorks CAD software is highly desirable (viewing prints, creating or modifying basic assembly/installation drawings).
Some exposure to basic PLC/HMI concepts and controls troubleshooting is helpful but not required; PLC programming is not expected for this role.
Experience with condition monitoring tools (vibration analysis, thermography) and mechanical reliability methods (FMEA, RCM).
Forklift, aerial lift, or rigging certification.
OSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety training.
Physical Requirements
This position is considered physically demanding. Candidates must be able to:
Climb ladders and work in and around machinery during installation and servicing.
Perform elevated work and access tight spaces with required PPE and training.
Lift and carry objects up to 60 lbs. regularly and handle heavier loads with team lift or hoisting equipment.
Stand, kneel, bend, and climb for extended periods in a production environment.
Communication & Teamwork
Must be a great communicator and problem solver, capable of clearly explaining mechanical issues and collaborating effectively with production, engineering, and vendor teams.
Comfortable documenting work and handing off tasks during shift changes.

DRILLER ASSISTANT
Our Tampa office has an opportunity available for a Driller's Assistant. A driller assistant will assist the crew chief in solid stem and hollow stem auger drilling techniques. The assistant will help move, set up and operate drilling rigs and related equipment to drill holes for geotechnical exploration test borings. Site investigation/geotechnical drilling is done to determine the soil characteristics on construction sites. Work is outdoors. The work is generally physically demanding. However, safety is Ardaman's priority and we are proud of our safety record.
Responsibilities:- Assist in drilling operations.
- Expedite field supplies.
- Perform duties at multiple job sites.
- Perform yard duties at direction of supervisor.
- Assist in measuring test boring locations
- Load and unload trucks.
- Smoothly and quickly connect and disconnect the lower parts of the drill pipe when it is being lowered into and raised from the hole.
- Catch samples of drilled cuttings to be analyzed.
- Clean and maintain equipment.
- Help move drilling rig and equipment from site to site and set up.
- Dig and clean mud pits and drains.
- Assist with well development and pumping tests.
- Operate equipment such as pumps for air, water and mud, and equipment and tools used to correct problems in drilled holes caused by mechanical breakdowns or by harmful natural conditions.
- Carry out minor maintenance and repairs, including lubrication and cleaning.
