Essential Job Functions: Performance of the essential functions of this position require the Associate to possess the minimum qualifications listed above. These functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.

- Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment in accordance with Department of Sanitation and QA standards.

- Understand and adhere to all Country of Origin Label (C.O.O.L.) regulations for all products in the Meat Department.
- Understand and adhere to Company shrink guidelines as relates to Meat Department operations.
- Utilize and maintain equipment as required by department; report any equipment problems immediately.
- Complete all applicable department training programs.
- Checks products received against invoices.
- Check prices and be knowledgeable about location of items in the store.

Alerting the Shipping Manager to any problems creating shipping delays, including but not limited to supply needs, and assisting towards a resolution in order to keep shipments current and maintain schedules.
Preparing stencils and instructions for shipments.
Accurately checking products to be shipped against shipping orders to ensure the proper amounts and correct items are shipped.
Maintaining all necessary clerical records pertinent to the function.

Assisting in loading and unloading of trucks.
Repairing, as able, any machine malfunction and report malfunction to the Shipping Manager and/or Production Manager.

- Install partially overlapping layers of material over roof insulation surfaces, determining distance of roofing material overlap using chalk lines, gauges on shingling hatchets, or lines on shingles
- Cover roofs and exterior walls of structures with slate, single-ply systems, asphalt, aluminum, wood, gravel, gypsum, and/or related materials, using brushes, knives, punches, hammers, and other tools.

Position Purpose: Our Meat Cutter will execute day-to-day operations in our Meat and Seafood departments and provide a memorable experience for all our customers. A Meat Cutter has a keen eye for Food Safety and Sanitation and will be able to help in stocking, production, and merchandising while offering unmatched customer service.
Responsibilities: A Meat Cutter is a responsible, friendly person who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provides excellent customer service.
A Meat Cutter's responsibilities include:
- Ordering, cutting, grinding, slicing, weighing, wrapping and labeling according to quality, quantity, product freshness and food safety and sanitation standards.
- Through proper handling, cutting, trimming and wrapping techniques, controls product shrinks and inventory expenses.
- Selling products by providing customers with excellent and helpful product information.
- Properly using the meat department tools and equipment including knives, saws, wrapping machine, tenderizer, patty maker, grinder, while meeting meat department safety standards.
- Understanding the importance of correctly using and monitoring product pricing, signage, and placement.
- Keeping a clean, neat and orderly, and well-stocked meat counter, work areas, meat service cases and self-service cases.
- Helping with the preparation of ready to go meat products.
- Slicing, weighing and merchandising of prepared deli meats and cheeses.
- Displaying goods following deli department and/or merchandising guidelines.
- Taking customer orders, ensuring orders are completed on time and to the customer's satisfaction.
