Responsibilities: As an Automotive Technician you will perform vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
* Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, steering, suspension, brakes

Role Summary
The Journeyman Medium Voltage Electrician must be a skilled craftsman in their trade and possess:
- A minimum two (2) year technical degree or trade school equivalency
- At least three (3) years of practical working experience as a journeyman electrician in the industrial/commercial electrical equipment service industry
- A valid State of Michigan Electrical Journeyman License (required)

d) Manage the on-site operations of the quality test technicians who will execute the quality testing plan. Following NETA testing guidelines. Receive and analyze testing reports. Takeactionsto minimize schedule impact if a test does not pass.
e) All activities will havean initialinspection conductedperthe pre-construction meeting. Witness the work and approve of the methods andthe final result. Work with the contractor on the remedies and deficient items.
f) Afterinitialinspection and approval of method and results confirm that all work will match theinitialinspection requirements. Monitor andobservethe quality of the work and drive corrections and punch list process to achieve the correct level of quality.
g) Make observations concerning the work methods, equipment, rigging, etc. used on site by the contractor.Record violations of Michelin rules, regulations, goodpractices. Makecorrections asnecessary in the field. Special focus shall be made on fall protection, rigging, Lockout, Tagout, Tryout, Arc flash safety, shock hazard protection, and welding.
h) AssistMichelin with change management by evaluating technical solutions, completing estimates, providing a riskanalysisand supporting the procurement manager as needed with information.
i) Track system installation versus major milestones andidentifyconflicts and risks of late milestone completion.
j) Answer RFI's, evaluate Change Orders as delegated by theteamleader. Participate in project reviews withMichelinProject Team.
k) Attend weekly contractormeetingsand weekly Safetymeetings.
4 - Final Completion and Acceptance
a) Evaluate the design documents and make acceptance filesin accordance withMichelin direction.
b) Ensure the contractor develops a punch list and corrects all items in preparation for building acceptance.
c) Inspect the completed areas and record acceptance or non-acceptance on the documents. Drive the contractor to complete the non-accepted items to meet the contract completion dates.
d) Coordinate with Michelin Construction, safety, environmental, and maintenance and includetheir representativesand comments in the final acceptance process and documents.
e) Verify as built drawings. Check all drawings against physical installation. Note items where the as built is not correct and drive the EPC contractor to properly complete theas-builtdrawings.

Mission:
The Low Voltage Technician will be responsible for installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting low voltage systems, including copper and fiber cabling, security devices, and associated hardware. The ideal candidate has strong experience working in active facilities, follows safety protocols closely, and can work independently with minimal supervision.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Install, pull, terminate, and test low voltage copper cabling

This role oversees schedule, cost, quality, safety, and coordination activities for low-voltage systems, including structured cabling, security, AV, controls, and related infrastructure. This position will serve as the primary point of contact between the Owner, General Contractor, low-voltage contractors, vendors, and all other relevant stakeholders.
Commissioning Support & Coordination
• Support the Commissioning Manager in executing the full commissioning lifecycle from construction through turnover
• Assist with coordination between the General Contractor, commissioning agents, subcontractors, vendors, and design teams
• Participate in commissioning planning meetings and support schedule coordination activities
• Help maintain alignment between construction progress, system readiness, and commissioning milestones
Project Management & Coordination
• Serve as the Owner’s Representative for all assigned low‑voltage scopes
• Coordinate internal alignment on document reviews, contract issuances, design changes, and cost optimization efforts
• Lead coordination efforts between procurement, construction management, operations, and external contractors
• Maintain strong working relationships with General Contractor and trade partner teams
• Translate project requirements into executable plans with minimal supervision
Schedule & Field Oversight
• Review and evaluate schedule updates on a biweekly basis
• Perform regular site walks to validate installation progress against schedule and sequencing at a high level
• Coordinate low‑voltage work activities with ongoing campus operations and live environments
• Develop, track, and manage Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for critical work in operational spaces
Cost & Commercial Management
• Assist with preparation of monthly financial updates and project forecasts
• Manage contractor billing processes, including pay application review and coordination with Client finance teams
• Lead the change order review process, ensuring accuracy of scope, cost, and documentation
• Process purchase orders and manage distribution to Client vendors
• Support filing and tracking of lien waivers and commercial closeout documentation
Procurement & OFCI Coordination
• Act as liaison between the Owner’s procurement team and the General Contractor for OFCI low‑voltage equipment
• Coordinate procurement status, delivery sequencing, and installation readiness
• Ensure procurement activities align with construction schedules and commissioning milestones
Quality & Safety Management
• Enforce project quality control and safety programs through a detailed understanding of contracts and design documents
• Perform a minimum of two (2) on‑site safety observations per week
• Manage Client safety program requirements and provide weekly HRA site walk reports
• Support accurate safety metrics reporting to Client EHCS teams
Document Control & Reporting
• Maintain Client agendas, meeting minutes, and action item tracking
• Lead smaller project meetings and document meeting outcomes throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage Procore directory structure, monthly updates, and GC document control coordination
• Maintain internal project file storage and documentation standards
Commissioning & Closeout
• Provide commissioning support, including onboarding of the Commissioning Agent and coordination of testing activities
• Facilitate review and approval of commissioning scripts and documentation
• Assist with document control and issue closeout during commissioning
• Drive internal and external closeout requirements, including turnover documentation and final deliverables
Permitting & Compliance
• Assist with maintaining current campus and site permits
• Update permit bond tracking documentation
• Coordinate with local authorities to ensure permits remain current and compliant

Position Summary
The Electrical Systems Engineer will lead and support the development of high-voltage battery systems, power distribution architectures, and vehicle-level electrical integration. This role spans system design, requirements, embedded controls coordination, safety analysis, and hands-on prototype validation.
You will collaborate closely with mechanical, controls, software, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust systems through the full development cycle—from concept to system launch.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical & System Design
- Design and document electrical architectures, schematics, wiring diagrams, and component selections for Li-ion battery systems, HV distribution, and vehicle integration.
- Develop and maintain system requirements, interface definitions, DFMEAs, PFMEAs, DVP&R, and system test plans.
- Apply strong engineering knowledge of HV components: contactors, switches, HVIL, insulation, isolation monitoring, safety interlocks, bus bars, sensors, and protective devices.
- Support PCB/hardware development efforts (Altium preferred; OrCAD or equivalent considered).
Controls & Software Integration
- Coordinate with controls and software teams on system behaviors, state machines, protection logic, and calibration.
- Support embedded controls development using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow, model-based design, and C-based integration review.
- Use CAN tools (Vector CANalyzer, CANape) to evaluate control systems, validate functionality, and troubleshoot issues.
Testing, Validation & Debug
- Develop validation test procedures for system-level and component-level verification.
- Perform hands-on prototype testing, fault evaluation, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting of high- and low-voltage systems.
- Follow lab and vehicle test procedures to evaluate system performance, safety interactions, and functional behavior.
Program & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work with internal team members and external suppliers to ensure successful design, build, and validation.
- Participate in recurring technical review meetings to identify risks, integration issues, and quality concerns.
- Assist in project planning—tracking timing, risks, status, and technical deliverables.
Documentation & Build Support
- Generate and coordinate build documentation, assembly instructions, inspection sheets, and test records.
- Support prototype build reviews, manufacturing handoff, and initial production readiness.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls, Computer Engineering, or Mechatronics from an accredited institution.
- Equivalent experience will be considered.
Experience
- 5–15 years of experience in electrical or systems engineering for EV, hybrid, automotive, heavy vehicle, or defense systems.
- Proficiency in electrical system architecture, safety concepts, and requirements flow-down.
- Experience with:
- MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow
- LabVIEW
- Vector CANalyzer / CANape / CAN tools
- SPICE / PSpice
- Controls platforms (MotoHawk, dSPACE, ETAS preferred)
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage battery systems, inverters, DC-DC converters, BMS, and vehicle electrical integration.
- Familiarity with EV industry standards, ISO 26262 concepts, and relevant military or commercial vehicle standards (preferred).
- Experience with PCB design tools (Altium) is a plus.
