A Brief Overview

The CDL Driver II is responsible for the safe, efficient transportation of materials to various job sites and other locations. This role requires maintaining a Class A or B Driver's license, inspecting and maintaining trucks, reporting shortages and claims to supervisors, and assisting in loading and storing of materials. Drivers must perform pre- and post-trip inspections, manage logs, and adhere to hours-of-service requirements. The CDL Driver II is typically a more experienced driver who may train new associates.

What you will do
  • Operates Class A commercial vehicles in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.
  • Responsible for deliveries to both active construction sites and completed build locations; city-based deliveries and inter-state travel may be required.

Position description

The project archivist will also process the analog and born-digital papers of author Amy Tan. The successful candidate employs archival standards, tools, and best practices to provide access to collections containing materials in a range of formats, including audiovisual and digital. Responsibilities

The Project Processing Archivist will work under the direction of the Head of Archival Processing and in consultation with other technical services staff, curators, public services staff and, potentially, donors and researchers. Duties will include processing approximately 450 linear feet of literary archival collections and related born-digital materials. The Project Processing Archivist will also participate in outreach activities relating to the project as well as regular departmental activities. Responsibilities include:

The Opportunity:
The University of Central Florida (UCF) department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering invites enthusiastic applications from highly motivated and talented individuals for a Postdoctoral Scholar position with focus on experimental testing of high-temperature materials, solar receivers, and thermochemical reactors. The Post Doctoral Scholar will be supported by a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Solar Energy Technologies Office (SETO) funded three-year project, focusing on the design and lab-scale testing of high-temperature thermochemical reactors for solar and other renewable energy conversion and storage. The scholar will co-lead a collaborative research team with members from three universities, one clean energy start-up company, and a DOE national laboratory (Sandia) for a prototype reactor development and demonstration. The scholar will also help Dr. Li organize group meetings, co-mentor graduate and undergraduate students, and publish high-impact scientific journal articles and conference papers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, or a very closely aligned field.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in studying fluid-solid interactions, reactive material reduction/oxidation kinetics, and high-temperature radiation transfer is highly desired.

Position description

The Bancroft Library seeks an inclusive, innovative, user-centered, and collaborative individual to join the Public Services team as the Instruction and Outreach Librarian. Reporting to the Head of Public Services, the Instruction and Outreach Librarian will design and lead instruction and outreach activities that engage constituent communities and promote the use of The Bancroft Library's collections. Serving as a work lead for the instruction team, which includes the Instruction Specialist, this role is responsible for collaborating cross functional teams within and outside The Bancroft (including curators, archivists, librarians, faculty, graduate students, and the general public), and coordinating the workflow for all teaching and learning activity. This role is also responsible for developing pedagogical approaches that move beyond lecture-based show-and-tell and engage users by developing critical archival literacy through inquiry-based learning, building a community of practice with archivists, educators, and community members. Through coordinating workflows and developing meaningful pedagogies, the Instruction and Outreach Librarian will promote inclusive practices and exhibit a commitment to accessibility in the development and delivery of services and programs. As a member of the Public Services team, this position is also responsible for assisting with reading room operations and answering reference questions.

The Bancroft Library of the University of California, Berkeley, is one of the largest and most heavily used libraries of rare materials in the West.   • Leads the work of the team involved in designing instruction and outreach, which includes the Instruction Specialist, members of the curatorial team, and librarians and archivists, introducing the campus community and public to The Bancroft Library's vast holdings, critical archival literacy, and research skills.

  • Explores and implements new pedagogical approaches in experiential teaching and learning to engage users in research and critical interpretation using special collections materials.

Description

The Production Planner will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of raw materials, jobs & operations (in house and outside) within an ERP environment and on the shop floor. This role will be responsible for ERP data integrity as well as the flow of the jobs throughout the manufacturing process.



Planner will also be required to achieve high level of customer product delivery (ship to commit) integrity while keeping minimum inventory level of finished goods and WIP.



Key responsibilities - other duties may be assigned:




  • Monitor MRP signals (Material buys, job release dates, overdue/exception notices).
  • Review MPS/MRP and customer's online portals for demand forecast while maintaining Min/Max levels.
  • Review material and outside vendor (OSV) processing requirements.
  • Create, release and maintain material requisitions and jobs to meet customer demand.
  • Submit and track status of Material and OSV requisitions; confirm PO creation.
  • Create and release work orders; maintain work order accuracy (Engineering Changes (ECs), process changes, reprints, etc.).
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, sales, purchasing & shipping/receiving to expedite the flow of work orders.
  • Monitor and take immediate reschedule action in case of customer demand changes (push-out or pull-ins).
  • Audit and maintain ERP system inventory data for accuracy, including cycle count program.
  • Work with operations team to analyze work center load/capacity and schedule work accordingly.
  • Provide monthly/weekly delivery commitments and ensure 100% commit integrity.
  • Monitor finished goods inventory, work in progress and reduce levels to satisfy the company's target metrics.
  • Execute inventory transactions from issuance of material to creation of finished goods shippers.
  • Achieve high level of customer Percent On Time Delivery (%OTD) performance and minimize overdue/past due orders.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and cost saving initiatives.


Position Requirements

Skills and qualifications:




  • A proactive team player with a background in production planning/scheduling and inventory control in a capacity-constrained system.
  • Prior machine shop planning experience preferred, but not required. Some manufacturing planning experience beyond simple assembly is required.
  • Knowledge and experience of MRP/ERP and schedule control in a data-driven environment.
  • Proficient in MRP (Epicor preferred but not required)
  • Must possess excellent reasoning and communication skills.
  • This role requires a high level of energy, creating thinking and problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and establish effective work priorities
  • Proficient in MS office

  • Bachelor's degree or high school diploma / GED and at least 3-5 years of experience in a production planning capacity or related aerospace experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow the territory. Drive both expansion and net-new revenue by serving as the go-to resource for PCB-materials expertise, delivering timely guidance and cultivating long-term customer partnerships.
  • Create and execute a territory playbook. Develop a data-driven business plan that increases wallet share across fabricators, contract manufacturers, and OEM design teams.
  • Own the customer relationship 360°. Partner with field applications engineers, supplier contacts, and internal supply-chain teams to ensure material availability and seamless technical support.
  • Value-sell for margin. Leverage cross-selling, up-selling, and margin-enhancement techniques to unlock incremental gross-profit opportunities.
  • Be the face of the brand. Represent the company at trade shows, industry symposiums, and customer innovation days, positioning the portfolio at the forefront of next-gen electronics.
  • Drive portfolio growth. Collaborate with product management to spot white-space opportunities and recommend new materials or services.
  • Keep the pipeline clean. Forecast demand, review quotes, and resolve RMAs while maintaining accurate opportunity data in Salesforce (or comparable CRM).
  • Travel 30 %. Spend roughly one-third of your time meeting onsite with manufacturing and engineering leaders across the Northeast (all travel fully expensed).


Skill Set & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Materials Science, Business, or related field.
  • 5 + years of external sales experience supporting PCB, semiconductor, electronics, or industrial materials markets.
  • Demonstrated “hunter” mentality with a track record of winning new logos and expanding existing accounts.
  • Solid grasp of PCB fabrication processes, materials, and value drivers; able to translate technical features into ROI.
  • Proficiency with modern CRM tools for pipeline management, forecasting, and territory analytics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; comfortable engaging from technician to C-suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 30 % across the territory (primarily by car, occasionally by air).

What Will You Do?

The Manufacturing Supply Chain Manager will manage the generation and execution of manufacturing plans from the development of the Master Schedule through packing of the units in Assembly. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and IT to drive improvements to materials and inventory management programs. Lead the search and implement breakthrough strategies that improve utilization by increasing throughput, inventory turns and reduction of cycle time. Continuously improve systems, methods, procedures, people and computer systems.

What Will You Do

  • Develop, implement and maintain a manufacturing plan for multi-plant operations using a Supply Chain Management scheduling system. Review and make recommendations for approving the Master Schedule for sequence of models in assembly by reviewing machining, labor and material constraints.
  • Maintain strong attention to material utilization, process flow, cycle time and inventory management.
  • Monitor, revise and control execution of the plan on the shop floor using a Supply Chain Management scheduling system. Prioritize the sequences of manufacturing work orders; adjust queue times, move times and lead times to improve throughput.
  • Assist in the development of the shop floor production strategy. Review the throughput capacity requirements planning (CRP) report weekly with manufacturing management looking for short-term problems at selected work centers. Review the throughput Load-to-Capacity reports monthly with appropriate management looking for potential long-term constraints associated with manufacturing and assembly work centers. Suggest the use of overtime as required.
  • Meet quarterly with sales and operations management to review sales forecast numbers of existing products and new forecast numbers from new product introductions. Using the APS, create a Load to Capacity chart to determine and evaluate the impact of machinery, materials, methods, environment and people for all manufacturing divisions: casegoods, upholstery and bedding.
  • Work closely with P &IC Managers in other facilities to make recommendations and implement necessary changes to manufacturing systems to improve flow of materials to achieve standardization of planning systems throughout the organization.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the manufacturing plan and the results of its execution with the goal of meeting or exceeding scheduled completion goals for each facility. Work with P &IC Managers and planners to make recommended changes to Advanced Scheduling Systems (through-put) model.
  • Assist with directing the activities of the Manufacturing Supply chain planner; collaborate with P &IC supervision, planners and clerical personnel to resolve planning issues and provide training and education in Material Requirements Planning (MRP), MAPICS XA, APICS, CPIM and CSCP.
  • Provide continuous improvement of the manufacturing operations computer systems and departmental processes. Collaborate with the IT organization to improve current and new programs. Develop and annual budget for equipment and personnel.
  • Work closely with all other functional areas of the company to achieve profit and growth objectives.
