How you'll contribute

A Director of Therapy who excels in this role:

  • Manages the Therapy Services Department staff. Supports and empowers staff to embrace the mission and value statements of the organization.
  • Observes and evaluates program effectiveness and recommends changes to interdisciplinary leadership team and Medical Staff as needed.
  • Develops direct reports to excel in supervision and support of staff in the interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary model.
  • Works under the guidance of the CEO and in collaboration with the Medical Staff and hospital leadership to lead the organization in the development of clinical programs which may include Brain Injury, Stroke, Amputee or other clinical programs. This includes a strong focus on CARF certification.
  • Evaluates department performance versus budgets and benchmarks and takes appropriate action to work within budgets and benchmarks for staffing, outcomes, employee satisfaction, patient engagement and other key metrics.
  • Is a key member of the Administrative Team and serves as a leader and/or member in hospital committees.
  • Collaborates with Chief Nursing Officer, Nurse Manager, physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

What we're looking for

  • Serve as a liaison with referral sources, case managers, and managed care providers to drive revenue while maintaining a focus on quality care.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Clinical discipline required; MBA preferred.

Experience: Minimum five years of healthcare management experience preferred.

  • Role requires a strong background in healthcare business development, leadership, and data analytics.
  • Frequent external engagement with referral networks, physician groups, and payers is expected.

Certifications: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Join our team in an 11-bed Women's Services Unit featuring a Level 1 nursery and 6 LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) rooms. With an average of 15 deliveries per month and a below-average C-section rate, our unit provides comprehensive care for expectant mothers and newborns. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment dedicated to promoting a positive birthing experience and ensuring the health and well-being of mothers and infants alike. 


How you'll contribute 
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

-    Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
-    Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
-    Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
-    Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
-    Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
-    Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What we're looking for 
Applicants should have a current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of North Carolina or from a compact state. Additional requirements include:
-    American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
