The Opportunity
This is TYR’s most senior AI role. The Director of Artificial Intelligence will lead the company’s AI strategy, own the technical roadmap, and be accountable for AI’s impact on revenue, growth, and competitive advantage.

Enterprise AI Leadership
Serve as the single point of leadership for artificial intelligence across TYR. Define the company’s AI vision, establish strategic priorities, and oversee architectural and investment decisions. Develop and deploy recommendation engines that surface the right products to the right customers across the digital journey, including homepage, product pages, cart, and post-purchase interactions. Implement generative AI solutions that support dynamic content creation, including personalized ad copy, email messaging, and product descriptions. Establish automated testing and optimization frameworks to continuously improve campaign performance.
Develop marketing mix and attribution models that enable real-time optimization of spend and improved return on ad investment. Build predictive models that support customer acquisition, retention, and churn prevention.
Sales Enablement and B2B Intelligence

Technical Execution and Partnerships

We're looking for an experienced and thoughtful Lead Ads Policy Manager to join our Content Product policy team. Our policy team keeps Pinterest a safe, positive and welcoming environment for our 450+ million global users by developing industry-leading content policies. You'll develop policies on generative AI, advise on new product risk, autonomously lead complex projects, and set the strategy for the AI policy function. You'll ensure our product policies are enforceable at scale and build a strong relationship with product teams. You'll seek out feedback from internal stakeholders and external experts and collaborate with our Product, Engineering, Legal, Public Policy, and Communications teams. This role will sometimes involve reviewing graphic and disturbing content and discussing difficult subjects.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate with your Policy teammates, cross-functional partners, executives and outside experts to craft industry-leading generative AI policies to protect Pinners and keep Pinterest safe and inspiring.
- Partner with Trust & Safety, Product, and Engineering teams to embed AI safety best practices in product launches and scale AI policy enforcement globally.

Job Summary
The Signal Lab in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech is seeking a Research Scientist to lead and advance cutting-edge research in Artificial Intelligence. The role will involve laboratory management, project oversight, and business development activities to name a few.
Responsibilities
1. Research Leadership in Foundation Models, World Models, and Frontier AI
- Lead and execute advanced research programs in large-scale AI, including foundation model architectures, multimodal representation learning, world models, agentic systems, and self-supervised learning at scale.
- Design and evaluate new training algorithms, model architectures, and scalable pipelines for language, vision, audio, robotics, simulation, and multi-agent environments.
- Develop GPU-, TPU-, and cluster-optimized training frameworks, distributed training systems, and inference-time optimization pipelines for next-generation AI models.
- Publish high-impact papers in top AI/ML venues, release open-source tools, and contribute to Georgia Tech's AI research leadership and national strategic priorities.
2. Lab Management and AI Compute Infrastructure Operations
- Oversee daily operations of the AI research lab, including GPU clusters, high-performance storage, distributed training stacks, and data governance frameworks.
- Manage, maintain, and expand high-performance compute infrastructure: multi-node GPU clusters, distributed data loaders, RL/simulation environments, and model evaluation frameworks.

Professional Qualifications
● Excellent knowledge of IT systems
● 3+ years of quality assurance experience with at least 2 years in a lead or management role.
● Experience working in direct-to-consumer ecommerce environments (Shopify/Netsuite/Celigo a plus).
● Demonstrated experience in test automation (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), with experience incorporating AI-assisted testing or analysis tools strongly preferred.
● Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including modern approaches that leverage AI to improve effectiveness and speed.
● Proficiency in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and cases, including the use of AI to accelerate test creation and maintenance.
● Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
● BSc/BA in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
