Job Description for Production Associate - Koozie Cell:
The Production Associate will set up, adjust, and operate semi-automated printing machines and prepare items processed for the next routing step. Ensuring that only products meeting company standards are passed onto the next step or packaged to ship to our customers. Must be able to read and understand work instructions, perform basic math functions, and make adjustments and/or minor repairs to equipment.
Responsibilities for Production Associate - Koozie Cell:
- Set up and adjust machines for proper operation
- Ensure that the proper supplies (both bill of material and non-bill of material items) are being used for printing
- Read and follows manufacturing orders to make sure orders are printed according to specifications (quality, accuracy, and layout)
- Examines product for defects, position of design print clarity, color accuracy or other flaws and adjusts equipment accordingly if needed
- Maintains sewing equipment including, but not limited to needles, bobbins, lubrication, etc.
- May package product for shipping, making sure proper box size and packing procedures are followed and ensuring that only products meeting quality standards are packed to ship
- Completes DCT reporting and necessary daily paperwork as instructed, including quantity produced, scrap and related information
- Performs preventative maintenance duties, such as daily cleaning and lubricating
- Maintains effective working relationship with coworkers
- Maintains a clean and neat work area
- Actively participates in and supports teamwork and continuous process improvement
- Demonstrates flexibility and commitment through cross training and helping other departments consistent with business needs
Qualifications for Production Associate - Koozie Cell:
- At least 18 years of age

Job Summary:The Production Supervisor II leads and directs a team of employees in an assigned area of operations such as Metal Fabrication, Assembly, and/or Test. The Production Supervisor II is accountable for maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to quality standards and is responsible for meeting customer demand schedules within established cost goals. Supervision may include the management of employees on more than one shift.
Essential Functions:- Identify and use lean manufacturing tools required to drive improvements and mentor teammates in the use of these tools
- Provide inputs (resource planning, overtime projections, productivity improvements) to management to develop monthly and annual budgets
- Assist Value Stream Managers with required monthly reporting to senior level management

- Ensure timely identification of quality issues through the use of the non-conforming materials process to ensure scrap and rework are properly processed
- Serve as liaison to other groups, product lines and/or functional areas to ensure products are built, assembled, and/or tested within appropriate parameters

- Make staffing decisions in accordance with human resource procedures to build and grow the team to meet the needs of the business

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production Shift Manager is responsible for coordination and supervision of the production process on the assigned shift to ensure production targets are met timely and efficiently.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manages and coordinates all activities of the production team on an assigned shift.
- Cooperates and with other departments to ensure effective plant operations and problem-solving.
- Communicates with supervisors and team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Leads plant initiatives, corrective actions and effective decision-making related to plant operation.
- Ensures company policies and safety procedures are being followed in the plant.
- Ensures team members have the tools and necessary training to perform and meet departmental goals.
- Recommends and implements measures to improve methods, equipment, performance, product quality, and efficiency through daily information sharing and reporting.
- Communicates, coaches, counsels, and trains supervisors and team members on standardized work practices, 5S, safety, quality and team building to meet company production goals and expectations.
- Ensures performance issues, conflicts, and other disciplinary issues are addressed and resolved timely and effectively. Initiates disciplinary action through communication with the Plant department supervisors, managers, and HR.
- Participates, facilitates, and oversees evaluations, CFTs, committees, task forces.
- Follows and ensures Lean and continuous improvement methodology.
- Supports EHS objectives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERINCE:
- Auto-Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong organization and time management skills.

- Computer skills to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading a manufacturing production team to work injury-free/incident free in a manufacturing environment. Job Responsibilities
- Ensures a safe workplace is maintained and there is a safety mindset in all things we do
- Follows, and ensures others follow, all policies, standards, and safety requirements defined by the company
- Drives safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively eliminate hazards
- Hires, schedules, and supervises full time staff and additional temporary staff
- Provides coaching and corrective feedback timely as well as administers disciplinary processes up to and including termination, as necessary
- Performs timely quarterly and annual reviews for all team members
- Facilitate team development and growth, employee skill development, problem-solving and resolution
- Oversees all process documentation and training program procedures for consistency of operational tasks, and the safety and cleanliness of the workplace
- Ensures a quality product is being produced and all quality processes are being followed
- Works directly with Quality Control, Engineering, and Maintenance, to improve quality, streamline efficiencies and reduce operating expenses
- Tracks productivity for measured efficiency and improvement and operates at or below the budgeted cost for production utilizing lean manufacturing procedures and cross training
- Oversees adherence to inventory control procedures to ensure inventory accuracy goals are constantly achieved
- Assist with troubleshooting and solving production issues
- Performs other duties as requested by management
