The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in California is between $147,000 - $250,000 and in New York is $147,000 - $250,000. This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role. The base pay offered for the role may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, key messages, marketing vehicles, brand management, and go-to-market plans for new products and product enhancements created for Client members. This individual will be strategic, proactive, and independently driven. The Job
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive go-to-market strategies from planning and stakeholder alignment through asset creation, activation, optimization, scaling, reporting, and iteration, translating business objectives and user needs into full-funnel marketing and channel strategies that drive adoption, engagement, and growth.
- Define and operationalize audience segments, tailoring messaging and tactics to motivations, and optimizing continuously with behavioral and performance data, journey mapping, and competitive insights.
- Establish, track, and communicate performance metrics that clearly demonstrate product marketing’s impact, while building and maintaining scalable messaging frameworks, positioning guides, and audience strategies for cross-team use.
- Synthesize complex product and research insights into differentiated narratives that resonate with users, stand out in the market, and adapt to changing trends.
- Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights, using research as a foundational input, while partnering with Product, Data, Marketing, and Design to validate hypotheses, guide the roadmap, and optimize performance.
- Serve as the connective tissue across teams, aligning Marketing, Comms, Social, and Growth on priorities, deliverables, and goals, while proactively mitigating risks, surfacing product pivots, and leading with rigor, clarity, and a bias toward action.
- Drive ongoing performance through retrospectives, testing, iteration, and scaling, driving innovative strategies and maintaining a consumer-first approach.

- 8–12+ years of experience in Product Marketing, with proven impact on consumer-facing product launches and strategic initiatives.
- A strong track record of independently owning high-impact product launches, including testing frameworks and full-funnel marketing campaigns.
- Exceptional ability to synthesize ambiguity into actionable strategy, and to provide clarity where there is none.
- Mastery of product storytelling, messaging frameworks, and positioning across varied user segments and lifecycle stages.
- A consumer-obsessed mindset, consistently advocating for user-first thinking and grounding decisions in user behavior and research.
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
