Position Summary: As a Project Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in leading and executing construction projects. You will be responsible for managing the development and execution of complex mechanical construction projects ranging from $5M to $30M in direct-hire construction. Leading a team of experienced professionals, you will be responsible for delivering safe projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and manage project plans, set milestones, and allocate resources effectively.
  • BMWC is a self-perform contractor; you will work directly with craft supervision throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Execute company safety standards, incentives, and compliance programs.
  • Strategic contract management, including commercial terms and craft labor agreements.
  • Budget and Cost Management:
  • Prepare, manage, and forecast project costs, budget, and overall profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze expenses and costs, including labor, material, and equipment.
  • Prepare project status reports for BMWC’s leadership team and clients.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Provide updates for all project phases with necessary stakeholders, including due dates, impacts, and adjustments during the life of the project.
  • Liaison and collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, proactively following up on requests or issues as needed.
  • Client Management:
  • Participate in activities/events that promote strong client relationship building.
  • Work with the Marketing and Sales Department to pursue new client opportunities, develop proposals, and win new work.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead project teams, motivate team members, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Mentor younger employees and prepare them for the next steps in their careers, aligning with BMWC’s core value of “People”.
  • Resolve conflicts and facilitate effective communication.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience managing industrial construction project teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, Procore, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leading and managing cross-functional team members responsible for project controls, estimation, purchasing, safety, quality, and virtual design.

Position Overview

Level Workforce is seeking a seasoned construction leader to serve as Director of Construction Operations while leading Baseline Building Group, our affiliated design-build construction platform.

This is a unique opportunity to operate inside an integrated real estate development and construction ecosystem supporting projects led by Creek Stand Land Company along with select commercial clients.

Rather than chasing speculative work, this role focuses on execution, leadership, and operational excellence within a curated project pipeline.


Core Responsibilities


Responsibilities include:

• Leading construction operations consulting for Level Workforce clients • Providing fractional operational leadership to construction businesses • Serving as Business Unit Leader of Baseline Building Group

• Overseeing design-build construction and site work programs • Managing project delivery, financial performance, and team development • Collaborating with development leadership on strategic projects

This role is ideal for:

• Former construction business owners • Senior operations leaders in general contracting or development • Builders seeking pipeline stability and reduced risk while remaining entrepreneurial

Flexible compensation structure available including hybrid hourly, monthly leadership retainer, and performance-based income. Both 1099 and W2 structures may be available depending on the candidate.

Qualifications

· 10+ years of experience in commercial construction.

· Operations Manager / Director / VP within a commercial general contractor

· Demonstrated expertise in:

· Preconstruction and estimating

· Comprehensive project management across all phases

· Job costing, cost reporting, and financial controls

· Managing projects typically in the $2–$5 million+ range

General Description

We are hiring a Constructability Manager to provide senior-level technical leadership on complex reconstruction and capital improvement projects. This role is ideal for an experienced construction professional who specializes in constructability reviews, scope validation, engineering coordination, and risk mitigation.

The Constructability Manager serves as the technical authority between Sales, Engineering, and Operations—ensuring projects are buildable, cost-accurate, and execution-ready before reaching the field.

The Modular Revit Drafter converts architectural and engineering design drawings into LOD 400 production drawings used directly by our factory production team. This role supports the Modular Design Manager and ensures that modular building units are detailed accurately and efficiently for construction. This is a production drafting role in a high-output modular manufacturing environment. 


WHAT YOU HAVE ALREADY ACHIEVED (Minimum Requirements): 


  • Entry Level: Experience with Autodesk Revit or similar BIM software (0-2 years) 
  • Entry Level: Drafting support role (experience in any 3D or 2D drawing software) 
  • Advanced Level: 2-4 years experience with Autodesk Revit 
  • Advanced Level: Independently produced production drawing sets (architectural or structural or MEP) 
  • Working knowledge of Revit modeling workflows including views, sheets, and annotation standards 
  • Ability to manage multiple drawing updates and revisions in a fast-paced production environment 
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings with an understanding of construction documentation, residential or light commercial framing, and common building assemblies 
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce clear, organized construction drawings including dimensions, notes, and schedules

  • Contribute ideas to improve drafting standards and modular workflows 
  • Communicate effectively with production staff to clarify drawing information and resolve issues
