About the Role:
The Mobile Automotive Technician at Pro Fleet Solutions plays a key role in keeping commercial and medium‑duty fleets operating at peak performance. Our technicians deliver high‑quality maintenance and repair services directly at customer locations, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently outside a traditional shop environment. A GMT (Stationary) specializes in completing repairs and utilizes preventive maintenance on motors and controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, and machine shop equipment. The ideal candidate is proficient in the use of diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to resolve malfunctions and maintain equipment.
Summary of responsibilities:
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation and repair with precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts and using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Ensures the proper functioning of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and calibrating industrial equipment and test equipment throughout Stationary GSE in accordance with approved manuals and procedures.
- Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to log inventory levels; anticipating need; placing and expediting orders; and verifying receipt.
- Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
The minimum starting hourly rate for this position is $36.22 with the ability to increase your hourly rate within 6 months of your start date, based upon premiums offered. Examples include but are not limited to CIMM Certification, Shift differential, and Skill differential.
Eligible Delta employees based in New York City (JFK or LGA) can be reimbursed up to $250 per month for specific transportation expenses incurred while traveling to and from work. - Industrial A/C refrigeration: Knowledge of high-pressure point-of-use pre-condition air systems, low-pressure glycol chiller systems, and repair and isolate system failures, as well as the related software for both high- and low-pressure control circuits systems.
- 400 Hz Generator/Inverter Ground Power: Strong understanding of electronic and electrical components and proficiency at identifying problems and repairing and rebuilding them. A background in 400 Hz, testing equipment as needed to perform repair/overhaul, and the ability to read electrical schematics and drawings are required. Familiarity with Jetpower II, Jetpower Plus, and CSI units. Experience operating passive and resistive load banks and working in an electronics environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Arrive at 6:30am, review OR patients, and complete interval H&P notes
- Assist in 12 CV surgery cases per day, averaging 25 days/week
- Provide post-op care including central/arterial lines, chest tubes, and wound vac management
- Support consults and CV ICU patients when not in OR
- Manage 815 patients in collaboration with surgical team until discharge
- Participate in team-based care; not a solo role

Position Highlights: NT4 Ortho-Urology Surgical Unit
- Number of beds on unit: 41
- Patient population (age, diagnosis, specifics about unit): NT4 is 41- bed unit specializing in the care of acute ortho and urology surgical patients. We are DNV certified for our hip and knee replacement surgeries. Surgical patients on this unit includes limb trauma patients, as well low acuity medical patients. With Carle being a level trauma center most regional trauma patients will be admitted to this unit.
- Nurse to Patient ratio: 1:4-6
- Department culture and resources: North Tower 4 is a fast paced throughput unit that highly collaborates with physical and occupational therapists. The average length of stay for most patients is a max of three days, so staff can experience the entire recovery process of the patient. We focus on being a team to provide the best and safest care to our community. Our patients appreciate the kind and positive reassurance they receive from our staff. Additionally resources for the unit include: a full-time educator, part-time educator, 2 nurse supervisors, a manager, and charge nurses.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $35.22per hour - $60.58per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health.
