About the Role

Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction site operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules and milestones.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 7–10 years of construction management experience, with at least 5 years in a superintendent role.
- Proven experience in residential and commercial construction, particularly in urban settings.
- Experience with Passive House, PHIUS, or other high-performance building standards strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of building science principles, including air sealing, thermal continuity, moisture management, and energy modeling coordination.
- Experience coordinating envelope testing (e.g., blower door testing) and working with HERS raters or PHIUS verifiers is a plus.

Education

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Glazing Engineer is responsible for the completion of high quality façade, curtain wall and glazing system projects on time, within budget and within scope. This role will oversee all aspects of a project from start to finish by coordinating efforts involving the internal team, subcontractors, vendors, and owners/developers. The ideal candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills, adjusting to changing priorities from various directives, and communicate effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees the design development and coordination of custom curtain wall and glazing systems, translating architectural intent into engineered, buildable, and fully coordinated façade solutions. Capable of leading multiple projects and supervising engineers.
- Know and comply with all federal, state, local building codes, ordinances and regulations, maintaining the highest standards for safety and quality.
- Manage relationships with all internal and external parties in order to determine specifications of the project, resolve conflict, and support success.
- Establish project schedule and delegate project tasks based on staff strengths, skills, and experience.
- Secure and allocate all resources needed for the completion of the project including building permits, licenses, materials, equipment.
- Negotiate, manage and communicate changes to contract scope, schedule and costs.

The Preconstruction Manager leads estimating, budgeting, design coordination, value engineering, procurement strategy, and risk management for assigned projects. 6. Procurement Strategy & Subcontractor Engagement
· Creates bid packages, qualification requirements, and scope sheets.
· Solicits and evaluates subcontractor bids; performs detailed bid leveling.
· Maintains accurate subcontractor databases and actively improves bid coverage.
· Prequalifies subcontractors based on workload, safety record, financial strength, and past performance.
7. Risk Identification & Mitigation
· Conducts project-specific risk analyses covering design, schedule, budget, site logistics, and market risk.
· Maintains a project risk register and proactively recommends mitigation strategies.
· Identifies long-lead materials and supply-chain vulnerabilities.
8. GMP Development & Contract Support
· Prepares GMP proposals, including assumptions, clarifications, allowances, alternates, and exclusions.

9. Client Interface & Relationship Management
· Serves as primary client contact during the preconstruction phase.

Today, our professional services include commercial, industrial, and institutional roofing, architectural sheet metal, insulated metal wall panels, aluminum composite and plate metal panel assemblies and waterproofing for new construction and roof restoration projects. Responsibilities for Construction Project Manager:
· Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for a project
· Negotiation of Contracts
· Produce and track Submittals, Shop Drawings, RFI’s, Change Orders, Schedules, Pay Applications and Project Closeouts
· Coordinate order and schedule delivery of materials
· Manage actual costs in order to meet budgeted costs
· Manage construction schedule and activities in conjunction with project superintendents
· Issue weekly progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines
· Manage relationships with general contractors, owners, and suppliers
Qualifications for Construction Project Manager:
· Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture
· 3+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry
· Comfortable reading and understanding drawings and specifications
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
· Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
· Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
· Strong leadership and management skills
· Ability to work well on a team
· Detail oriented

Our client, a well-established commercial construction contractor specializing in qualitiy interiors as well as building envelope systems and exterior cladding, is looking for an experienced Accounting Controller to oversee financial operations across the business and its affiliated entities. The company is known for delivering high-quality work on complex commercial projects and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.
The Controller will ensure accurate financial reporting, oversee job cost and Work-in-Progress (WIP) accounting, manage cash flow, and maintain compliance with union agreements and financial regulations.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in construction accounting, job costing, and multi-entity financial management, along with the ability to lead an accounting team and support strategic decision-making.
Controller Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
- Manage job cost accounting, project margin analysis, and WIP reporting.
- Monitor project financial performance, including under/over billings and change orders.
- Oversee progress billing, accounts receivable collections, and cash flow forecasting.
- Supervise accounts payable, subcontractor compliance, and lien waiver collection.
- Ensure accurate union payroll processing and compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreements and labor regulations.
- Lead budgeting and financial forecasting to support operational and strategic planning.
- Lead and develop the accounting team while improving financial systems and processes.
Controller Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of accounting experience, with some experience in the construction industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of job costing and Work-in-Progress (WIP) accounting.
- Experience with multi-entity or consolidated accounting preferred.
- Familiarity with union payroll, fringe benefits, and labor compliance, preferred.
- Experience supporting bonding relationships, banking requirements, and audits.
- Proficiency with construction accounting software or ERP systems.
