The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathe, while also understanding machining centers, lathes, and other equipment to produce parts to tight tolerances within .001. Experience programming at machine is a big plus. Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate 3 or 4 axis machining centers to perform precision machining operations
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Analyze data and production reports
  • Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output
  • Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
  • Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping
  • Select appropriate machines (e.g. lathes) and position or load material for a job

The Tinstman Law Firm, P.A., is a fast-paced and rapidly growing law firm, seeking a trial attorney with 4+ years of personal injury litigation experience (Plaintiff side a plus-double PLUS if you have medmal experience). Candidates with specific exposure to the areas of personal injury/premise liability litigation are preferred. We're looking for a motivated and organized lawyer with strong written and verbal communication skills who is motivated to take on responsibilities and challenges. The ideal candidate will have top quality written work product and research skills, significant experience with written discovery, and experience taking and defending depositions.

Job Description

  • Manage a high volume of personal injury/premise liability litigation caseload from intake through resolution
  • Meet deadlines and push cases to trial
  • Conduct legal research
  • Meet and communicate with clients, build trust, and guide them through the legal process
  • Draft demand packages, respond to litigation documents, discovery, etc.
  • Prepare, review, and audit pleadings, motions, discovery, etc. in furtherance of active litigation files
  • Communicate with insurers and opposing counsel regarding claims, demands, and settlement negotiations
  • Prepare cases for trial as needed (no trial experience required, but litigation readiness matters)
  • Work closely with support staff to keep cases moving efficiently
  • Travel, attendance, and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances, at needed.

Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • 4+ years of personal injury experience
  • Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar Association
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interest in Plaintiff's work and Personal Injury law
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Civil Litigation skills and working knowledge of civil procedure
  • Highly motivated self-starter driven by long-term career goals
  • Eager to learn and be trainable
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
