Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women & Newborns is Southern California’s only standalone women’s hospital. SMB is part of Sharp HealthCare, is a 206 bed, not for profit hospital delivering more babies than any other hospital in California.
Shift rate: $2,500/shift (12 hrs)
PAID Malpractice and Tail coverage
Hospital shifts: 7:00pm to 7:00am
2-night shifts per week considered full-time
Clinic shifts: 8:00am-5:00pm (optional)
Full specialty back up including 24 hr perinatal and GYN/ONC service w/dedicated OB anesthesia
Responsible for L&D, triage, postpartum, ED Calls and occasional GYN emergency surgery (ectopic)
Most calls taken with experienced CNM’s. Back-up physicians always available
On-site overnight provider room

Starting annual base salary of $380,000.00/year. The posted annual salary is the starting annual base compensation only. The amount does not include productivity, bonuses or incentives. Seeking a full time BE/BC Pulmonologist to join our 10 physician group.
We are one of the largest and most successful single specialty pulmonary groups in the southeast and our physicians enjoy an excellent balance between work and personal life.
This group practices all aspects of pulmonary care including critical care and sleep medicine. The group serves as the administrators of a 12-bed sleep center and has a fully functioning pulmonary lab on site. In addition to outpatient services, these physicians serve as the lead group for the hospital intensivist group and assist with directing respiratory and the intensive care units. We also play a large and active role in hospital performance improvement by serving on improvement and executive committees.
Call is one in eight nights and one in four weekends.

- Travel 25–50% to client sites

- Analyze and present performance metrics (AR days, clean claim rate, denial rate, etc.) using Excel and Power BI.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Experiences
- 7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with at least three years in leadership or in a Director level role, all in a physician group or surgical practice setting with consistent tenure and evidence of career growth.
- Is up to date on current trends and keeping up with regulations.
- Very knowledgeable in understanding the ins and outs of workflows of front-end, middle, and back-end revenue cycle processes, and not just oversight.
- CPC certification is a plus.
- Ability to calculate, interpret, and act on KPIs (clean claim rate, denial rate, AR days, etc.).
- Knows the industry standard benchmarks, and knows the formulas behind those KPIs.
- Experience diving into data analysis.
- An independent self-starter that can operate autonomously.
- Is highly collaborative and can influence across internal and client teams.
- Is good working with vendors and software companies.
- Experience assessing workflows, and making recommendations.

Houston Methodist The Woodlands opened on June 26, 2017 as the eighth hospital in the Houston Methodist system. This new 187-bed, 470,000-square-foot, full-service, acute care hospital offers many of the same services as our flagship hospital in the Texas Medical Center. Also, on the $380 million hospital campus, located at the intersection of I-45 and TX 242, is a medical office building, which opened in March 2016. Medical Office Building 1 includes a breast care center, cancer center & infusion center, orthopedics & sports medicine, rehabilitation services, wellness services, and an outpatient laboratory in addition to multi-specialty physician practices. A second medical office building and 785-car parking garage opened in 2018.
