Job Description
- Report directly to Service Manager for deployment from store to in the field equipment repairs on customer or company properties.
- Maintain, repair and overhaul farm machinery and vehicles, such as tractors, harvesters, construction equipment, hay equipment, etc.
- Examine and listen to equipment, read inspection reports, and confer with customers to locate and diagnose malfunctions.
- Ability to utilize electronic service tools to allow for proper troubleshooting
- Test and replace electrical components and wiring, using test meters, soldering equipment and hand tools
- Understanding of hydraulic systems for proper troubleshooting.
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, lathes, welding equipment, grinders or saws.
- Ensure proper documentation on all repairs- most importantly, on warranty jobs per manufacturer requirements.
- Tune or overhaul engines.
- Ensure premier quality repairs to minimize come backs focused on “fix right the first time.”
- Completing required training and attending OEM continuing education.
Qualifications- Candidate must have experience in all of the following:
- Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools.
- Equipment maintenance- performing routing maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
- Diagnostics- the ability to utilize electronic service tools to allow for proper troubleshooting.
- Quality control analysis- Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
- Critical thinking- using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Operation and control- controlling operations of equipment or systems.
- Operation monitoring- watching gauges, dials or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.

- Partner with Finance and Supply Chain to ensure accurate forecasting, capacity commitments, and financial transparency.
- Leverage ERP, planning, and analytics systems to provide enterprise‑level visibility into co‑manufacturing performance and risks.
Quality, Compliance & Risk Management
- Provide executive oversight of food safety, quality systems, and regulatory compliance across all co‑manufacturing partners.
- Ensure robust audit, qualification, and monitoring programs are in place and consistently executed.
- Lead risk identification and mitigation strategies related to supply continuity, quality, capacity, and regulatory exposure.
- Champion a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement across internal teams and external partners.
Organizational Leadership & Capability Building
- Build, lead, and develop the Co‑Manufacturing team, including managers, analysts, and functional support roles as the network scales.

Qualifications:

SUMMARY
As a Mechanic (Class B), this position is responsible for repairing and maintaining company-owned equipment. The Mechanic is accountable for diagnosing issues and making necessary adjustments, repairs, or overhauls on various heavy machinery used in heavy civil, railroad, and marine construction.

- Plan and schedule regular maintenance for industrial machines and equipment. Maintain accurate equipment service records.
