Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serves as the principal manager responsible for the overall management and operation of the mechanical systems in support of of BOS
  • Advises mechanical technicians in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical system malfunctions.
  • Develops, implements and regularly reviews all mechanical systems and components preventative maintenance plans to ensure they are compliant with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards.

Qualifications

  • Currently licensed as a Mechanical Professional Engineer (PE) in one of the 50 U.S. states, U.S. Territories or Possessions.
  • A bachelors degree from an accredited university in Facility Management, Construction Management, Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Structural), or another related field. A degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience managing and operating facilities and systems of similar size, scope and complexity

Summary

The Material Logistics Planning Manager oversees the development and execution of strategies that ensure efficient organization of materials, logistics, and supply flow. This role aligns master schedules and production calendars to maintain seamless coordination across operations. This role also monitors inventory levels, supply orders, and resource availability to support uninterrupted production. Process Development:

We are seeking a Lead Footwear Materials Designer to join a highly innovative product creation team focused on performance-driven outdoor footwear. This role plays a key part in shaping the future of functional, durable, and visually compelling material solutions. Ideal candidates are creative problem solvers with deep material knowledge, a passion for the outdoors, and the ability to balance performance, aesthetics, and sustainability in design.

This role works cross-functionally with product designers, material teams, color and graphics, development, engineering, innovation, and various design disciplines. The designer will collaborate with approximately 10 team members and report directly to the Footwear Materials Design Manager.

We are searching for a materials expert who can elevate outdoor footwear through innovative, performance driven design. What You'll Work On: 

As a Lead Footwear Materials Designer, you will: 

-Drive the material design process from concept to commercialization.

-Develop materials that enhance performance, durability, sustainability, and aesthetic impact.

-Explore new technologies, techniques, and material innovations.

-Ensure materials align with the brand's philosophy of functionality and durability in outdoor environments.

-Collaborate with cross functional teams such as engineering, development, research / innovation, testing, costing, marketing, and other design disciplines.

-Build 3D samples, create mockups, and support the visualization of material concepts.

-Contribute to seasonal storytelling, consumer insights, and narrative -driven product design.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Art, Fashion Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, Accessory/Furniture/Footwear/Textile Design, or comparable experience.

Experience: 

-3-5 years of relevant materials, textile, or footwear design experience.

-Proven ability to drive material innovation and push design boundaries.

-Strong understanding of outdoor performance requirements and environmental challenges.

-Ability to translate consumer insights into compelling material narratives and executions.

-Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including eco friendly and weatherized material sourcing.

-Experience creating 3D samples and hand built mockups.

-Strong understanding of color, form, human factors, and how materials influence consumer experience.

SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Operations Support Manager, the Logistics and Material Planner plays a critical role in optimizing the daily functions of the Stores department. In this capacity, this position will support various functions such as inventory management, materials and material handling, storage, and logistics. This position requires excellent skills in collaboration and communication as well as organization and planning.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Review and analyze inventory to ensure materials meet operational requirements and there is no overstock or shortages; uses inventory management system (Oracle) to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
  • Continuously monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify and address areas of concern
  • Use critical thinking to manage competing priorities and easily adapts to changing business requirements
  • Conduct regular stock counts and audits; recommend corrective action if required
  • Oversee and execute receiving process to ensure incoming materials match PO’s and meet quality requirements; oversee the shipping of repairs to outside vendors as needed
  • Maintain organized storage systems within the Stores area to ensure all materials are labeled correctly and readily available
  • Recommend continuous improvement activities which consistently improve the Stores function using industry best practices
  • Manage small projects of various size, scope, and budget
  • Collaborate with the Operations Support Manager to review and develop policies and procedures for the Stores area
  • Partner with other departments and stakeholders such as Equipment Maintenance, Production, and Purchasing to ensure efficient support for internal processes
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to resolve delivery or material discrepancies
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s degree in business administration, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain/Procurement and/or equivalent relevant experience
  • Five years of experience in inventory management or procurement in a semiconductor or manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using an ERP system such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, or SAP
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Applications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The annual base salary for this full-time position is between $92,930.00-$136,661.00 + bonus target + benefits. The annual pay range shown is subject to change and may be modified periodically.


WORKING CONDITIONS:

The Logistics and Material Planner works primarily in a warehouse/office environment from Monday to Friday. The schedule may be altered from time-to-time to meet business or operational needs; may travel from building-to-building as needed. Stands, sits, and walks; performs various fine grasping movements, bends, and twists; operates a computer and enters information using a keyboard, operates a telephone, and other office equipment. May occasionally push, pull, or lift up to 10 or more pounds.
