We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to join our BFG Manufacturing Engineering team near Fort Wayne, Indiana. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing automation solutions that drive efficiency and productivity across our manufacturing operations. WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Conduct pre-studies, prototypes, and pilots to capture business requirements and determine the best solutions in terms of costs/benefits, deadlines, risks, and functional capabilities.
- Design, build, and lead implementation projects to improve plant performance by replacing outdated systems, improving existing equipment, or adding new innovations to make progress.
- Implement and monitor actions necessary to mitigate risks (calculations, simulations, tests, etc.)
- Implement best practices for automation design and development, including worldwide sharing of best practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors and contractors.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in automation.
- Provide detailed electrical design and automation programming for assigned projects.
- Provide estimates and technical schedules for all phases of process equipment addition, replacement or upgrade.
- Provide backup support and training to plant maintenance teams on new automation systems that they implement.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field, or equivalent technical experience.

Insight Global is seeking an experienced EPLAN Electrical Designer to support the development of its large-scale metal additive manufacturing platform, the Advanced Test Demonstrator (ATD).
In this role, you will play a critical part in electrical documentation, panel fabrication support, and system integration activities for a complex LPBF (laser powder bed fusion) 3D printer environment. This includes creating and updating EPLAN schematics, supporting hands-on panel builds, documenting wiring and fluid routing, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams (controls, mechanical, and R&D).
The ideal candidate is highly experienced in mixed-voltage electrical systems, industrial standards, and shop-floor integration. Responsibilities
In your role as a Radar Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing digital and analog circuits for our next-generation Radar system. You will be involved in all phases of development, from conception to production, tracing system-level requirements through to circuit-level design. You will drive the design and layout of a multi-processor with an FPGA on chip using DDR 4 memory, as well as designing switching and linear power supplies. The high-speed digital design is complemented by high-frequency analog and RF design up to 12GHz. You will own the schematic, layout, artwork generation and bring-up of hardware. You will be collaborating with the cross-functional teams, including mechanical and system engineering. You will be responsible for the certification of your design to DO-160, DO-254 design assurance and FCC certification. Job Overview
This position is responsible for the research, design, development and sustainability of electronic medical equipment. This individual serves as electrical engineer in a project team. As a key member of the project team, the engineer will collaborate closely with engineers and a cross-functional team to support the full product lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
- Provide electrical technical in the research, design, development and sustainability of electronic circuits for medical devices. Ensure and maintain compliance to Corporate and Industry standards.
- Performs medical devices electrical system requirement study and functions research, participates in design & development activities, collaboration with contractors defining interface, power consumption and board dimensions.
- Programs bare metal coding for system control, performs design activities using EDA tools like OrCAD for schematics capture and PCB layout, generate circuit schematic diagrams, bills of materials and performance analyses, works with contractors for PCB fabrication and SMT, brings up PCB in the lab with tools like multimeter, oscilloscope.
- Perform system assembly, function testing, data analyzing, and test results documenting.
- Prepare documents including Design Specifications, Verification and Validation protocols/reports, relevant Risk Analysis.
- Support design reviews and contribute to risk assessments and design verification activities.
- Remote and Onsite electrical technical support as needed by the project.
Minimum Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, M.S. preferred.
- Minimum 0-2 years related experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Deep understanding principles of DC regulators, such as LDO, Switching regulators.
- Knowledge of microcontroller hardware design and firmware coding, sensor interfaces such as SPI, I2C.
- Experience with EDA tools (OrCAD, Altium Designer, KiCAD etc.) design for schematic capture, PCB layout.
- Strong lab skills, including experience with oscilloscopes, multi-meter, and other diagnostic tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and take direction from project leaders.
- Structured problem solving / root cause analysis.
- Ability to communicate within the discipline and with others who are not as technically trained.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledgeable using Adobe and Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

This is a four‑month contract role with the potential to convert to a direct hire. To be considered for this role the candidate will need to have 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Description
The Test Design Engineer is responsible for creating and performing test automation activities consistent with the test lead and test development goals/objectives. This role requires knowledge/experience with automated test software, manufacturing test environment and the ability to interpret test requirements, implement requirement-based test methodologies and trouble shoot & debug test and product issues. Experience with FAA Part 145 in an MRO environment highly desired.
Job Duties:
Specific duties will include:
SW/HW debug, troubleshoot, upgrade and maintain product automated test equipment.
Requirements Analysis/Review for test-ability
Test procedure development, implementation, execution and failure root cause analysis.
Test planning and preparation.
Assess System performance against requirements
Develop code in Veristand, Teststand, LabVIEW to implement test GUIs, drivers and test requirements.

This position is offering an salary rate of $52.88 - $62.50/hr, however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. - Location: Mount Pleasant, WI
- Contract: 6 month contract-to-hire
- Schedule: 8am-5pm (Monday-Friday, full onsite)

What You’ll Do:
- Review and interpret electrical engineering drawings, including one-line diagrams, cable schedules, conduit layouts, and switchgear packages, ensuring alignment with project specifications and construction requirements.
- Collaborate with design engineers to review drawings and technical documentation, identify discrepancies or improvement opportunities, and communicate recommended updates to optimize constructability and system performance.
- Support the implementation of electrical designs in the field, working closely with construction teams to ensure installations align with approved drawings and engineering intent.
- Manage and maintain electrical drawing logs, redlines, and As-Builts, ensuring all field changes and updates are accurately documented and incorporated into final project records.
- Coordinate with engineering teams and subcontractors to resolve RFIs, technical questions, and design clarifications related to electrical systems.
- Provide technical support for electrical construction activities, including participation in construction planning, installation sequencing, and commissioning readiness.
- Track and report progress on electrical scopes of work, proactively identifying issues that could impact cost, schedule, safety, or quality and communicating them to the Project Manager.
