ROLE SUMMARY:
The Superintendent leads safe, high-quality, and efficient operation of sheet extrusion, MFC, and related processes. Responsible for daily production performance in safety, quality, yield, OEE, staffing, and continuous improvement across a 24x7 operation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct daily/weekly operations ensuring safe, reliable, high-quality output.
- Lead safety, environmental, TPM, 5S, and customer requirement compliance.
- Ensure ISO/RC14001 and regulatory adherence.
- Deliver OEE improvements and manage downtime, yield, and productivity.
- Oversee quality inspection and adherence to specs.
- Manage Work Orders and documentation logs.
- Maintain 5S, ESP, and TPM standards.
- Develop and coach operators; manage performance and conflict.
- Ensure training compliance and required equipment licensing.
- Support 24x7 operations via off-shift availability.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- 5 +years of manufacturing supervision experience.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict management capability.
- Technical aptitude (mechanical/electrical/controls).
- SAP and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Knowledge of raw materials, product specs, and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Exposure to noise, heat, hazardous materials.
- Frequent walking, standing, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs.
