Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide direction, supervision, support, and training to the accounts receivable team.

Manage monthly billing and accounts receivables processes.

Review and approve setting up customers and billings in Costpoint accounting system including cash receipts, unbilled receivable.

Assist with contract close outs, de-obligation of funds, including DCAA/DCMA inquiries.

Assist in analyzing accounts receivable and unbilled accounts to ensure efficient billings and timely collections.

Complete all Month end related tasks including collaboration with other departments to meet established closing deadlines.

Assist in the interim and annual audit reviews.

The Accounts Payable Coordinator verifies and performs system entries for invoices and other payment requests. This role serves as the primary point of contact for vendors, financial and accounting staff, and other Institute personnel on matters related to payment status and other accounts payable issues



Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 - Reviews requests for payment (invoices, check requests, employee payment requests, verifies accuracy and validity, and enters payment requests into the financial system.

The Account Manager is responsible for underwriting low-income housing tax credit projects, driving deals through the closing process, managing and coordinating Credit Committee memos, and providing in-depth analysis of key diligence items to recommend actions to the Committee and Risk Officer. Function/Responsibility

As part of underwriting assigned proposed tax credit investments:

 

  • Understands all facets of the deal, including but not limited to guarantor review, income and expense analysis, financial underwriting, and due diligence review
  • Facilitates due diligence collection and review
  • Joins and is an active participant in closing calls to maintain the closing timeline
  • Prepares and presents the Investment Memo package – including narratives, descriptions, risks and mitigants, and other ad hoc analyses illustrating pertinent aspects of the investment – for internal approval at various times during the closing process
  • Owns the financial model throughout the closing process, including the maintenance of yield from LOI through Closing
  • Identifies and elevates risk items or changes to the Originator, Risk Officer, or other parties affected by changes and identifies mitigants
  • Provides regular updates with AVP of Accounts Management; EVP, Acquisitions; and Risk Officer regarding deal underwriting progress including status of closing checklist review, review of due diligence materials, transaction timing, and problematic issue identification and resolution to assist in the management of the closing pipeline
  • Collaborates with Originator to enable coordinated communication with Developer partners using a positive and proactive approach that will foster long-term positive relationships.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or related field required.


Work Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in real estate finance, lending, affordable housing, and/or LIHTC program, and familiarity with industry policies, issues, and programs.

  • Reports all potential high risk areas and safety concerns to the Area/District Manager

  • Ensures all associates have been adequately trained in safety and loss prevention procedures

  • Ensures claims are reported timely and accurately and cooperates with the Risk Management department to resolve claims

  • Consistently follows the progressive disciplinary process to hold associates accountable for at-fault claims and safety violations

  • Promptly responds to any concerns regarding workplace safety

  • Follows the procedures for reporting on-the-job injuries and works with Human Resources to effectively manage worker’s compensation cases

  • Adheres to Towne Park employment and payroll policies and procedures to limit exposure to employment claims and litigation

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Maintains relationships with present client to obtain references and leads for new opportunities

  • Keeps leadership and sales teams advised on known changes to Ownership Groups/Management Companies or Brand changes

  • Advises Leadership and Sales of any changes in position at the client location.  Specifically, name, where they came from, where they are going

  • Monitors existing client’s business in order to be aware of and report to Area/District Manager any construction, expansion, or changes in the current business that could lead to internal growth opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate’s degree preferred and a minimum of two (2) years of related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and/or experience

  • Knowledge of general business practices including accounting, human resources and customer service

  • Must be able to drive manual transmission

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • For insurance purposes, must be at least 18 years of age and be able to pass a criminal background, MVR and drug screen

Compensation: Towne Park is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location. The annual base pay range for this position is $70,304.00.

Additional Compensation: Employees may be eligible to receive annual incentive bonuses depending on their job classification and the policy guidelines. 
 

Benefits: Employees are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, and vision insurance, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, and telemedicine benefits. Employees are provided company-paid basic life and AD&D insurance as well as short-term and long-term disability. Employees are also able to enroll in the company’s 401k retirement savings plan.

Paid Time Off: Employees accrue 0.0385 hours of PTO per hour worked up to a maximum of 80 hours per calendar year. Employees receive 6 paid holidays throughout the calendar year and employees accrue up to a maximum of 4 paid floating holidays per calendar year.
