Overview

We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented RV Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will diagnose, inspect, repair, and overhaul recreational vehiclesranging from travel trailers to motorized units. You will work on systems including gas, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, chassis, and may specialize in generators, appliances, or interior components.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnostics & Repair

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot RV systems and components across multiple trades.
  • Perform functional repairs and install replacement parts to meet quality standards.
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) to ensure vehicles are ready for customer handoff.

Systems & Structural Work

  • Repair and maintain propane gas and electric appliances.
  • Handle fiberglass, body, and structural repairs.
  • Install, repair, and maintain roofs, siding, windows, doors, vents, awnings, and flooring.

Electrical & Plumbing

  • Service 12V and 110V electrical systems, including batteries and wiring.
  • Maintain and repair RV plumbing and water systems.

Documentation & Communication

  • Read and write clear repair orders, documenting parts used and work performed.
  • Communicate effectively with Service Advisors, Parts team, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.

General Support

  • Use service manuals, parts catalogs, and digital resources to research technical issues. Assist with department clean-up and tool maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support customer satisfaction and team efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 23 years' hands-on experience in RV, automotive, or related trades (carpentry, electrical, plumbing).
  • Familiarity with hitch installation and brake controller setup.
  • Basic electrical knowledge of 12V and 110V systems.
  • RVIA/RVIT certification (or equivalent RV maintenance experience).
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
  • Proficient in reading tape measures and using hand/power tools.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work weekends and in un-climate-controlled environments.
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly stand, walk, reach, and use hands and arms to handle tools and parts.
  • Frequently sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

JOB SUMMARY
The position of Building Inspector conducts inspections based on the current International Building and Mechanical Codes and the Maryland State Plumbing Code, with additional inspections involving enforcement of the Elkton Zoning Ordinance and Housing Code. The nature of the work involves local travel and clerical work including documentation and reporting. The Inspector communicates with builders, developers, public officials and general public and exercises considerable latitude for making independent judgment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Performs interval and final inspection of all new construction and renovations (commercial and residential) within the Town involving footings, rough plumbing, HVAC, rough framing, slab prep, insulation, foundation, water and sewer laterals and final inspections for code compliance.
2. Performs inspections of existing dwelling units, rooming houses and other premises, checks for health and safety hazards, prepares and serves notices of violation. May recommend steps to be taken to correct the violation; secures warrants when necessary and appears as a witness before the Board of Housing Appeals and the Courts if needed.
3. Conducts investigations of hosing code and zoning ordinance complaints and notifies the Code Enforcement Officer.
4. Verifies location of structures to assure compliance with Elkton's Zoning Ordinance.
5. Reads and interprets construction drawings and specifications, plans and notes for project(s) under inspection.
6. Reviews building plans for code compliance.
7. Prepares written inspection and relate reports on project assignments; submits written reports and recommendations regarding projects under investigation.
8. Generally works 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday with minimal overtime.
9. Checks construction in the field for compliance with residential lines and grades.
10. Responsible for maintenance of vehicle and other equipment assigned to position.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

TRAINING, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

3. Any acceptable combination of experience, education, and certification.
4. Must possess and maintain a valid class “C” drivers' license.

Position Summary:

Link Apartments® Linden are looking for a full-time Service Technician to join their team. The Service Technician handles all phases of maintenance relating to the completion of work orders, preparation of apartments for occupancy and implementation of preventative maintenance programs. Understands all functions of the Service Supervisor. This position will report to the Property Manager.

What will you do in this role:

- Inspects and maintains all HVAC systems, furnishes plumbing upkeep inside and outside the buildings, ensures that roofs and gutters are in good condition, maintains all recreational facilities.
- Assists supervisor with the quality and efficiency of turning vacant apartments into make ready apartments in a timely manner; assists with overseeing the inspection of make ready apartments; and paints, cleans and prepares apartments for occupancy.
- Assures that a written explanation of work performed in each unit is left for resident.
- Ensures that residents are provided with a clean, safe and well-maintained community, ensures that good public relations are maintained between residents and the maintenance staff.
- At the direction of the Service Supervisor, assist with the operation and maintenance of the pool and pool area to include proper chemical levels as required by local municipalities or other governing bodies, maintenance of pool equipment and furnishings.
- Completes all work orders within a 24-hour time frame.
- Adheres to all personnel directives and safety requirements.
- Shares 24-hour emergency call duties with Maintenance Supervisor.
- Learns all aspects of on-site maintenance, implements all aspects of maintenance in preparing apartments for occupancy.
- Keeps all tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Reports any hazardous, emergency or unusual situations that could possibly be a violation of company policy.

Our ideal candidate has the following:

- Two to five years’ experience in this field.
- Strong knowledge of heat pump, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and carpentry.
- Must have HVAC certification; must have or be willing to obtain a Certified Pool Operator license.
- Pleasing personality and ability to work with and understand the problems and attitudes of residents.
- Good mechanical skills.
- Good organizational skills and interest and enthusiasm for the job.

Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:

- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Works in residential buildings and outdoors.
- Works under moderate supervision.
- Frequently moves about to coordinate work.
- Frequently walks, climbs stairs or ladders, bends, stoops, reaches, uses equipment with hands, pulls, and lifts up to 50 lb.
- Ability to drive a golf cart
