The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a variety of delegated nursing tasks and participates in patient care within their Scope of Practice, guided by registered nurses, licensed physicians, or other specified health care professionals.

Within the Oncology unit, the Oncology LPN will specialize in providing high quality care to patients with cancer, assisting with palliative care and chemo administration.

Shift Details:Rotating Days and Nights/ 12-Hour Shift

Unit Specific Information:

  • 32 bed unit with 1 radiation room

  • Utilize mentor/team nursing to provide resources for new grads and new hires

  • Patient Demographic: Care for med surge patients that include CHF, diabetes, cellulitis, PNA, respiratory illnesses, and much more.

    We specialize in oncology and palliative care providing high quality care and chemo administration

    We foster and promote teamwork and respect among peers

    Our unit strives to help new hires develop a strong med surg foundation and grow in their nursing practice.

Essential Functions

  • Assists with admission and check-in process, including orienting patients and completing necessary forms.
  • Prepares and administers medications within the scope of practice, and assists with patient activities of daily living, preparing them for medical or surgical interventions.
  • Obtains and tracks specimens for laboratory analysis, and documents patient care, interventions, updating care plans accurately and timely.
  • Communicates with supervisory RN, physicians, or licensed independent practitioners regarding patient care and changes in condition, and participates in patient education about health status, maintenance, and management of conditions.
  • Follows legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, accurate documentation, and participates in quality improvement projects and initiatives, acting as a mentor or trainer to other staff if required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification upon hire OR obtained within 60 days of hire with prior approval. Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) is required if applicable to unit.
  • May need IV certification as required by facility. Colorado sites: Current IV Certification or obtain IV Certification in the State of practice within three (3) months of hire.
  • Montana sites: Completion of in-house education and competency sign-off within three (3) months of hire.
  • LPNs hired into hospital departments that do not include a long-term care or behavioral health setting must be enrolled and complete their RN within 4 years.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One (1) year experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting preferred.
  • One (1) year specialty clinic experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
  • Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
  • Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
  • Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
  • Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.)
  • May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
  • For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.

Responsibilities :
  • Generate new customer sales for TDS by knocking on residential doors and engaging prospects at community events. Present and sell Internet, TV, Voice, and Mobile services, answer questions, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.

Duty Locations

Duties and Responsibilities

As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation’s economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession. 

Typical assignments include: 

  • Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and custom laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations
  • Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations
  • Interpreting and following tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband
  • Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks
  • Patrolling the international boundary and coastal waterways using a variety of government assets such as vehicles, horses, vessels, watercraft, off-road vehicles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and motorcycles for the accomplishment of the USBP Mission.

Qualifications

You qualify for the GL-5 grade level if you possess one of the following: 

Experience: One (1) year of general work experience that demonstrates the ability to take charge, make sound decisions, and maintain composure in stressful situations; to learn regulations, methods, and techniques through classroom training and/or on-the-job instruction; and the ability to gather concise information through questioning, observation, and examination of documents and records; OR 

Education Substitution: A bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; OR 

Combination of Experience and Education: A combination of general work experience AND successfully completed college education. This will be calculated using your resume and official or unofficial transcripts submitted with your application. 

You qualify for the GL-7 grade level if you possess one of the following: 

Experience: One year of specialized work experience that shows you have the skills necessary to: 

  • Make sound judgments and decisions in the use of firearms.

Or will receive a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement. Or one full year of graduate-level education in a field of study related to law enforcement (e.g., criminal justice, homeland security, justice studies, law enforcement, courts and judicial systems, forensic technology, forensic psychology, or corrections and rehabilitation) from an accredited college or university; OR

The Senior Cost Accountant provides essential financial support through cost analysis and monthly reporting. This role requires a solid understanding of financial and cost accounting, manufacturing reporting systems, and the ability to deliver accurate and insightful data to both Plant and Corporate management.

This position is 4 days a week on-site in Elgin, IL.

Functions of the Position:

  • Prepares reports and commentary on actual monthly results for the plant, including comparative analysis to budget and prior year. Meets with plant management to review results and ensure accuracy of production standards.
  • Performs month-end and pre-month-end duties.
  • Develops and implements written procedures to standardize costing and product output cost analysis.
  • Prepares and reviews reports and analysis on operational performance and makes recommendations as appropriate.
  • Analyzes production yields, costs, and efficiencies.
  • Analyzes item bills of material and routings against actual results and makes necessary adjustments using QAD and Microsoft applications.
  • Assists with reviewing all plant outgoing reporting.
  • Creates concise summaries for senior management to highlight findings.
  • Provides cost accounting support to the plant and serves as a liaison between remote locations and Corporate Accounting.

Education, Experience, and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline required.
  • Minimum of three to five years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and report generation.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience developing standard costs, understanding bill of material concepts, and analyzing manufacturing variances.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 5%.

The Role We Want You For

As a Preconstruction Cost Manager, you will be assisting in the development and management of the project financial strategy within the Preconstruction Phase. You will be working directly with the EVP of Preconstruction and Procurement Strategy, Project Executives and Preconstruction Group in monitoring preconstruction cost spends and developing staff, general conditions and general requirement monitors for our Project pursuits. You will be responsible for generating and maintaining reports that provide information to Preconstruction and Cost Controls leadership, work with the management team to identify variances, risks and maintain quality control processes to improve preconstruction cost procedures and ensuring conformity with management's strategy.


The Specifics of the Role

  • Works with all preconstruction disciplines to ensure understanding of preconstruction budget targets.
  • Review project documents and specifications to co-develop general conditions, general requirements and preconstruction plans for submission to bid to our clients.
  • Update and reporting to management current preconstruction staff spend including project costs which are reimbursable to our clients under a preconstruction agreement.
  • Works closely with the accounting department to ensure the correct integration of all information needed to ensure accuracy in billings, payment applications, change orders, direct cost, etc.
  • Works closely with the project management team, executive management personnel, subcontractors, as well as occasional contact with clients.
  • Responsible for cost engineering, cost estimation, cost analysis, and control activities for projects with significant non-routine requirements or for proposal estimating activities which require a moderate degree of technical skill and experience.
  • Ensuring quality, accuracy, consistency, spend profile, performing change management, and transparency in all cost management deliverables.
  • Take ownership of the cost control function and ensure integrity of the cost and forecast reporting.


Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Construction Management, or related degree.
  • 5-10 years of Project Cost experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of project development stages, procurement, project controls, and construction execution practices is required.
  • Working knowledge of applicable computer software such as PMWeb or similar project portfolio management software, DataServ, Excel, JD Edwards, or related software programs.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Results oriented and deliver on customer commitments.
  • PMP certification desirable.

  • The salary range for this position considers a wide range of factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: Education, qualifications, skills, training, experience, certifications, internal equity, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The Clayco Nationwide salary range for this position is approximately $90,000 - $125,000 +/- annually (not adjusted for location).
