We are looking for a visionary Project Manager of Building Science Knowledge systems who will manage projects that support the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) ability to assemble, store, and disseminate codes, standards, performance criteria, and best practices in the built environment. Our goal is to make knowledge easier to access and understand so that buildings are safer, more efficient, and more innovative. This role will oversee multi-stakeholder projects ensuring alignment with client goals, scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. The Project Manager will manage project team members, manage subcontractors, and ensure effective communication and knowledge transfer across the organization.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of assigned projects with emphasis on building technology and innovation.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)

  1. *Receive, store, issue, and distribute all products across multiple storage locations in a fast paced, high-volume environment to meet Casino and Hotel operational needs.

  8. *Maintain the receiving docks and warehouses in an organized, clean, and safe condition in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
  9. Report any motor vehicle violations to management within 24 hours of the incident, if assigned driving responsibility.
  10. Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.

Job Qualifications

  1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. One year of inventory, warehouse, shipping, receiving, or related experience is required.
  2. Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and general computer knowledge. Experience with Red Rock and EPIC warehouse information and inventory systems preferred.
  3. The ability to successfully achieve forklift certification.
  4. Must have a valid, unexpired Wisconsin Driver’s License.
  5. Must have and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  6. Must pass a DOT Physical Exam.

Job Summary:

The Allocator is responsible for planning and analyzing the company’s inventory to ensure the proper allocation of merchandise as well as forecasting sales in order to complete the proper flow of merchandise to the correct stores at the correct time.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Analyze trends, store performance and customer profiles in order to distribute merchandise appropriately.
  • Maximize stock levels while maintaining inventory flow and store stock position to improve sales performance.
  • Maintain proper category assortment by store.
  • Ensure sufficient quantities of advertised product are in stock on a per store basis.
  • Set up and maintain min/ max parameters for specific store inventories.
  • Maximize inventory productivity by properly allocating merchandise in terms of quantity and timing to the correct stores.
  • Work closely with the Allocation Manager to understand product mix and assortment.
  • Communicate with stores and operations in order to learn and understand specific requirements and opportunities.
  • Utilize understanding of standard assortment strategies and nuances of supply chains to resolve store and distribution center inquiries regarding allocation and inventory.
  • Collaborate with Buying groups to identify growth opportunities and minimize down-trending business. This includes identifying the best assortment of merchandise for stores, based on past sales performances, emerging trends, and store needs.
