What You’ll Do:



  • Support the engagement of meaningful activities by coordinating and monitoring service activities such as a job, school, volunteerism, family caretaking, for persons served.
  • Functions as a team member rather than an individual practitioner, knowing and working with all persons-served and their family to recommend strategies for recovery.
  • Manage the medication system including MAR oversight, medication storage, procurement, and drug destruction, as ordered.
  • Screen and monitor consumers for medical problems and/or side effects.
  • Engage in health promotion, prevention, and education activities including those surrounding pertinent psychotropic medications.
  • Cross-train with other members of the ACT team to provide direct services which include, but are not limited to: rehabilitation, daily living activities, family supports (crisis management-supporting parents-counseling family members), health living activities, counseling, therapy, entitlements, access management, medication support, housing assistance, financial management, counseling therapy, access to community resources like food, clothing, developing natural resources and making contacts with social support networks.

Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM 


Qualifications:



  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Active State of Michigan RN Licensure.
  • Minimum of four years of psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, and Stages of Change.
  • Ability to work independently with flexible hours, including occasional nights, weekends, or holidays.

This role combines strong psychiatric assessment and intervention skills with a Recovery-Based approach to support individuals in achieving wellness and independence.


Working collaboratively with psychiatrists and other providers, the Lead RN coordinates psychiatric and medical care, manages medication monitoring and supplies, and promotes trauma-informedperson-centered, and culturally competent practices. What You’ll Do:



  • Provide on-call nursing services 24/7 and respond to emergencies in Residential and Crisis Residential settings.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Summary
Provides direct and indirect patient care including assisting the physician in diagnostic and/or invasive cardiac, electrophysiology, structural heart, and peripheral procedures. Provides cross campus coverage as needed. Summary

Functions as an emergency response medical professional that administers immediate medical care to victims of accidents, violence, and sudden illnesses such as cardiac arrests or strokes. Provides pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished to the accepting medical facility.

  • Represents the ambulance service while on duty at public service functions, expositions, and other public events and provides ambulance stand by services when necessary.

  • Administers drugs via injection, intravenous procedures, or oral administration under the direction of a physician.

Summary

Summary
Administers radiation therapy as prescribed by a physician in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Travels between LVHN/LVPG Radiation Oncology sites as necessary. Trains and mentors new radiation therapists and students in addition to duties of the radiation therapist.

Job Duties

  • Delivers a prescribed course of radiation therapy to patients and provides continuous monitoring during treatment. Schedules daily treatment appointments, answers patient questions, and explains the procedures being performed.
  • Serves as a liaison between patient and other members of their care team and reinforces recommendations given to the patient concerning reaction to treatment and care of irradiation area, prevention or treatment of generalized and local side effects. Observes patient for any unusual reactions or events.
  • Monitors radiation equipment inventory and follows all safety regulations regarding radiation exposure.
  • Participates in CT Simulation procedures and/or other treatments/procedures.
  • Participates in on-call, if applicable.
  • Keeps current regarding developments, trends and techniques in radiation therapy and equipment.
  • Mentors and teaches students and new employees.
  • Trains and supports other radiation therapists in current or new department equipment/procedures, as necessary.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree Radiation Therapy or equivalent or
  • Technical School Diploma Accredited Radiation Therapy Program
  • Analytical ability to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles.
  • Ability To keep confidential information regarding patients, and team members.
  • Ability to exchange information on factual matters, schedule appointments, record treatment data in patients' records, greet visitors, explain hospital policies, and/or relay patients' needs to appropriate personnel.
  • Knowledge and experience with electronic health records.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support AHA - American Heart Association within 90 Days and
