PRIMARY PURPOSE
The Special Activities and Intelligence (SAI) Program in our Operational Warfighting (OPS) Division at CNA is hiring for a part-time Research Scientist. Staff at this level will typically be leading smaller and/or less complex projects, playing a critical role as a team member on projects with specific technical/scientific expertise. For this role we are looking for people that have extensive experience in AI and ML.
The SAI program conducts analyses that help decision-makers integrate information, intelligence, and exquisite effects into fleet operations. JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Education: Minimum Master's degree in a relevant field (STEM), PhD preferred.
2. Experience: Typical minimum requirements 5+ years of experience in research and analysis. Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts and applications preferred. Experience with Navy and AI-related organizations and processes preferred.
3. Skills:

Key accountabilities includes: serves as a contact person for patient care area staff, physicians and health related facilities; evaluates patient needs, appropriate level of care, referring facility capability, predicts bed availability and admission/discharge trends; facilitates bed briefings; understands hospital patient patient placement priorities; participates in quality oversight, ensures EMTALA compliance and also services are provided efficiently according to Genesis Medical Center and department standards.

Supervisory Responsibility: Guidance: The job requires the provision of occasional guidance and training to others. The job does not have formal or official supervisory responsibilities.
Materials Responsibility: Limited: Work requires limited responsibility for material resources. Examples of resources could include supplies, equipment, inventories, small budgets, and other similar material assets. The employee has a limited amount of control over these resources. The cost of errors is also limited in terms of damage, waste or financial loss. Problems associated with material resources are not complex. The volume of resources may vary, but the level of difficulty in dealing with these resources is uncomplicated.

Physical Demands: Low Intensity: Work requires a light or low amount of physical exertion. The job requirements for manual dexterity or physical manipulation are limited. Position Purpose:
The Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at Mount Carmel East has 16 beds. The Registered Nurse (RN) would expect to see cases involving sepsis, covid, pneumonia, diabetes, cardiac arrest, psychological disorders, drug overdoses, surgical, stroke, and more. This unit is family oriented and enjoys getting together for gatherings outside of work.
The Registered Nurse RN, within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. The Registered Nurse RN, collaborates in the spirit of teamwork is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the Organization.
What you will do:
Provides nursing care, ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism in nursing practice within the model of the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®.
Assesses and evaluates patient care for an assigned group of patients, utilizing evidence based practice. Collaborates with patient and family to develop and implement a plan of care that includes physical, spiritual and educational components.
Accurately communicates pertinent information to appropriate team members in a timely manner. Keeps patient/family apprised/updated.
Documents accurately and completely pertinent assessments, interventions and outcomes for patients in accordance with documentation standards, policies, procedures and/or guidelines.
Assumes responsibility and accountability for care provided and documented by other licensed and unlicensed care givers as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduate from school of nursing.
Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
For Casual RNs 2 years of experience is required.
All new graduate nurses with less than one (1) year of clinical experience are subject to participate and will be automatically enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.
