Overview

We’re looking for a high-energy Inside Sales Account Manager who can run day-to-day customer needs and also convert inbound warm leads into new programs. You’ll own customer communication, coordinate internal execution, and move opportunities forward, from initial request to quote to launch.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-building and follow-through, has a sales mindset, and can comfortably pick up the phone to progress warm opportunities. You won’t be expected to do heavy cold calling, but you should be willing to do light outbound(follow-ups, reactivating old leads, and reaching out to similar prospects) to keep the pipeline active.

What You’ll Do

Account Management & Customer Execution

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and keep communication clear, fast, and organized.
• Coordinate programs with Production, Scheduling, Procurement, Quality, and Shipping to ensure smooth execution.
• Track key job details (specs, BOMs, artwork, packaging components, ship dates) and keep documentation current.

Inbound Warm Leads + New Business Support

• Take ownership of inbound lead flow (website inquiries, referrals, existing customer requests, warm introductions).
• Qualify inbound requests: understand product, volume, packaging format, timelines, and success criteria.
• Coordinate internal inputs to build quotes and proposals (scope, assumptions, lead times, and pricing support).
• Follow up consistently to move opportunities from request → quote → decision → launch.
• Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts (new SKUs, new formats, value-added services).
• Perform light outbound to drive growth: re-engage past inquiries, follow up on dormant quotes, and outreach to lookalike prospects in targeted categories.

Qualifications

• Strong organization: able to manage multiple active opportunities and projects at once.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; CRM experience is a plus.

• This position reports into the Packaging Engineering group under Combination Product Operations (CPO) in Client Ohio (AOH). The position will support global supply, new product introductions, partnerships/acquisitions and combination products.

• This position utilizes physics, engineering and chemistry principles coupled with advanced and diverse materials science understanding and principles to assist in the evaluation, design, qualification and implementation of packaging components and the associated systems such as documentation, equipment and processes.

• A knowledge of common materials utilized in pharmaceutical packaging is key to this role. This role will support Client’s manufacturing network by applying broad knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging operations, equipment, devices, and materials to develop the industry’s best combination product assembly and packaging processes.

CMI is seeking an experienced Packaging Quality Assurance Manager to lead our packaging quality and compliance initiatives across our supplier network and distribution operations. This role ensures that all packaging materials supplied to our customers meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and regulatory compliance.

The Packaging QA Manager will play a key role in strengthening CMI’s quality systems, supporting supplier performance, and maintaining compliance with industry standards such as BRCGS. Duties

• Examines work orders and packing specifications.
• Ensures that policies regarding materials, hoppers, packaging, and vehicle loading are followed.
• Assist the Packaging Manager in overseeing daily packaging operations across multiple lines.
• Ensure production runs meet scheduled quantities, timelines, and quality standards
• Identifies and fixes machine setup and malfunction problems.
• Participate directly in daily and weekly packaging planning.
• Coordinate with planning, inventory, QA, and maintenance.
• Send the packaging manager and upper management the needed reports.
• Support in supervision of packaging supervisors, line leaders, and operators.
• Serve as acting Packaging manager when needed (Coverage, PTO, off shift).
• Assist with KPI Tracking and Production Reports.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, labor optimization, and waste reduction.
• Support implementation of new procedures, equipment, or SOP updates.
• Support audits, inspections, and internal reviews as needed.
• Comprehension of BOM, and able to review and fix any issues.
• Ensures the team meets all packaging targets and quality standards.
• Ensures the necessary training and qualification of operators on equipment and processes is accomplished and correctly documented, Trains and coaches team members.
• Observes and guarantees adherence to all safety, environmental, and sanitation requirements and GMP guidelines.
• Communicates with different relevant departments.
• Assures that all operations are carried out in accordance with cGMPs and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Packaging Manager.

Requirements

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in operations, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
• At least 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, packaging, or production environment.
• Must possess good mathematical and counting skills.
• Must have at least three (3) years of leadership experience.
• Experience working with production schedules/ planning preferred.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing KPIs is preferred.
• Must Be Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Clear communication with operators, supervisors, and management.
• Fluency in the English / Spanish language is a must.

Job description:

I’m exclusively partnering with a leading packaging manufacturer to hire a Design Engineer to support continued growth within their rigid plastics and thermoformed packaging division.

This is a highly technical, design-focused engineering role centered on the development of rigid plastic packaging solutions for a range of consumer and industrial applications. The business is looking for someone with strong CAD capability and hands-on experience in thermoforming, blister, and clamshell packaging design.

The Position:

• Design and develop rigid plastic packaging solutions from concept through to production
• Work extensively on thermoformed, blister, clamshell, and custom plastic packaging structures
• Create and modify 3D CAD designs (SolidWorks or similar)
• Support prototyping, tooling trials, and production validation
• Work closely with manufacturing, tooling suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams
• Troubleshoot design and production issues on live packaging lines
• Drive improvements in cost, material usage, and packaging performance
• Support new product development and existing product optimization projects
