Key Responsibilities:
- Manages and provides care for the patient requiring neonatal intensive care utilizing collaborative consultation with team members, under the direction and supervision (but not necessarily the direct attendance) of an attending neonatologist.
- Receives a distressed neonate in the Delivery Room and initiates appropriate intervention.
- Performs a complete newborn physical examination and assessment of gestational age, discriminating between normal and abnormal findings.
- Conducts parent interviews and takes family history.
- Collaborates with neonatologists concerning pertinent historical events, physical findings, diagnostic and therapeutic measures initiated on all admissions.
- Orders appropriate laboratory tests and procedures.
- Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures necessary and appropriate for the care of the patient.
- Reviews and provides general care items involved in neonatal care, such as temperature stabilization, hyperalimentation therapy, feeding management, and phototherapy.
- Participates in rounds in the NICU.

About the Role
A nationally recognized pediatric healthcare system is seeking an experienced CVOR Nurse Manager to lead a high‑acuity Pediatric Cardiac Operating Room. This is a key nursing leadership position overseeing a busy cardiac surgical program performing approximately 360 cardiac procedures per year.

Position Overview
The Pathologist’s Assistant plays an essential role in the processing and gross analysis of surgical specimens while supporting pathologists in both surgical and autopsy pathology. Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Salary Range: $93,000 – $140,000 (commensurate with experience)

Case Mix: Balanced between complex and routine cases (tumor excisions, pull-throughs, appendices, gallbladders, etc.)
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform gross analyses of surgical specimens under the direction of the pathologist
- Accurately accession specimens and verify all labeling and related documentation
- Dictate specimen descriptions clearly and promptly
- Assist with autopsies, including gross dissections and eviscerations
- Support histology with specimen accessioning, tissue disposition, and sample delivery
- Prepare tissue specimens and frozen sections for diagnostic review
- Participate in training residents or medical students in surgical pathology
- Contribute to departmental quality management initiatives, including CAP compliance and inspections
Requirements
- Master of Science from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists’ Assistant program (active enrollment may be considered; degree completion required within 12 months of hire)
- 1–3 years of experience preferred
- Background as a Histotechnologist or relevant clinical training from an accredited PA program is accepted
- Prior experience in pediatric pathology strongly preferred

Hospital is looking to hire a non-operative sports medicine fellowship physician for our well-established practice located in Northeast Nebraska. This physician's role would continue to grow the practice of non-operative sports medicine focused orthopedic practice and contribute towards current and future athletic partnerships within the area. Our orthopedic team consists of three physicians, one podiatrist and a full team of skilled advanced practice providers. The position will evaluate, diagnose and treat patients presenting with a wide variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal illness and injury, including limb and back pain and reduced mobility and function.
Eligible physician will be BE/BC in sports medicine. Position requires MD/DO, Residency in IM, EM, FM, Peds, and Neuromusculoskeletal or rehab medicine with a fellowship in sports medicine.
Hospital provides athletic training (nine athletic trainers) services to several schools (12 high schools and 1 community college) in and around the city. The growing team of athletic trainers has a long history of providing quality health care for area athletes. The experienced and professional staff of full-time, certified athletic trainers can meet the needs of area athletes and their families. Their goal is to keep athletes safe and ready for competition in the most efficient manner possible.
In October 2021, the hospital broke ground on its new 260,000 square foot, $55M fieldhouse. The fieldhouse is an extension of the hospital's mission to enhance community wellness. It will offer indoor and outdoor fitness and recreation areas, including tennis courts, a football field, a soccer field, basketball courts, batting cages, youth activities spaces, a suspended track for walking and running and more. Outpatient duties include:
- Conduct routine gynecological exams, prenatal, and postnatal care.
- Diagnose and manage gynecologic conditions (e.g., menstrual irregularities, hormonal imbalances, infections).
- Provide patient counseling and education on reproductive health, contraception, and family planning.
- Perform outpatient procedures as needed (e.g., colposcopies, biopsies, IUD placements)
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (e.g., midwives, nurse practitioners) to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to clinic documentation policies.
Inpatient duties include:
- Manage labor and delivery cases, including both routine and high-risk pregnancies.
- Conduct obstetric procedures, such as vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and emergency interventions.
- Provide inpatient care for gynecologic surgeries and other procedures (e.g., hysterectomies, laparoscopies).
- Collaborate with labor and delivery staff to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
- Participate in hospital rounds and coordinate transitions from inpatient to outpatient care.
- Provide consultation and on-call coverage on a rotating schedule.
