Compensation is: $70 to $80/hour to start with experience (can be a little
higher too).

The PA/NP will work collaboratively to assist the Physician to provide care to
patients who present to the regenerative pain office with acute/chronic pain
and/or functional medicine visits. The NP/PA will review the patient's medical
history, order labs, radiographic, and other diagnostic tests, perform
follow-up care and conduct consults. The NP/PA will also be responsible for
the management and oversight of the office and surgical patients. The NP/PA
will also examine patients to determine eligibility for Vitamin IV infusions as
well as assisting in running the infusion program.

NP/PA will act as a portal of entry for all patients entering into practice by
screening and processing new patients.

Roles and Responsibilities
Conducts new patient assessments/H&Ps, which includes comprehensive MSK exams
in office
Supporting physicians with scheduling, prior authorizations, and maintaining
and compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Documents items such as: appropriate chief complaint, all applicable diagnosis,
past medical, family, and social history, review of systems, examinations,
medications, allergies, assessment, and plans
Prescribe medications, order tests, and follow up with tests as required.
Assist on OR Surgical Procedures (suturing, paperwork, IV, and etc)
IV Infusions
Experience in clinically assessing patient, takings vitals, and charting in EHR
Provide education to patients regarding their pharmacologic and
nonpharmacologic pain management regimens.
Conduct follow up visit and/or post procedure calls to ensure patient safety
and address any questions or concerns.
Develop and oversee patient and office policies and procedures to deliver the
highest quality of care in a patient focused environment
Work collaboratively with providers to create a treatment plan based on
patient's clinical needs
Responsible for the coordination of care with primary care providers,
specialists, and appropriate ancillary services.
Completes all documentation and paperwork in a timely manner.
Maintains quality of care standards as defined by the practice.
Perform effectively, as reflected by improved patient quality outcomes, which
will be measured and reported daily.
Facilitates closing gaps in care by educating patients about Pain Mgmt &
Wellness

Position Requirements
Active and unrestricted NJ Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner/PA license.
Board certified by ANCC or AANP.
Current and unrestricted DEA & CDS LIcense
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification
Minimum (2) two years of acute and chronic pain management experience including
pain disorders, diagnostic tests, procedures, and medications
Regenerative Medicine and IV experience a plus
Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously.
Access to transportation, a valid driver's license, and car insurance.
Must be proficient with medical instruments and equipment required by the work.
Knowledge of EHR & Google Spreadsheets, as well as medical records
Ability to communicate effectively, in verbal and written form, with retail and
medical partners at various levels, patients, family members, physicians and
representatives of the community.
Sound understanding of all federal and state regulations including HIPAA and
OSHA.
Bilingual in Spanish is helpful.

Position Overview

The Clinical Psychologist will lead the Behavioral Science and Psychiatry curriculum for Family Medicine residents, provide direct patient care in an outpatient setting, and support residentsโ€™ interpersonal, communication, and stressโ€‘management skills. This role includes supervising behavioral health rotations, coaching residents, and supporting their own mental health and wellness.

Responsibilities

Clinical Services

  • Provide evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, psychotherapeutic interventions, and case management for individuals, families, and groups.
  • Conduct joint sessions with residents to assess and treat behavioral health conditions such as depression, PTSD, ADHD, anxiety, alcohol use disorders, and other primaryโ€‘careโ€‘presenting concerns.
  • Maintain an active patient caseload and develop referral sources.
  • See residencyโ€‘referred behavioral health patients as needed.

Residency Education & Curriculum Leadership

  • Develop and oversee the Behavioral Science/Psychiatry curriculum in alignment with Residency Review Committee (RRC) guidelines.
  • Teach residents how to identify, assess, and manage behavioral health conditions in primary care.
  • Lead group therapy training, behavioral health skills workshops, and communicationโ€‘skills coaching, including review of videoโ€‘recorded medical encounters.
  • Supervise residents during their behavioral health outpatient rotations.
  • Prepare and deliver Noon Conference lectures and supplemental curriculum.
  • Maintain updated reading lists and patient education resources for resident learning.

Resident Wellness & Support

  • Develop, lead, and manage the Stress Management and Wellness Program for residents.
  • Provide confidential counseling to residents for stress management and personal behavioral health concerns.
  • Offer support and evaluation for residents as requested by program leadership.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration

  • Consult with faculty and resident physicians regarding behavioral health considerations affecting patient care.
  • Support the integration of behavioral health into the primary care model.


Requirements

  • Doctoral degree (PhD, PsyD, or EdD) in Clinical, Counseling, Health, or School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid license to practice Psychology in the State of Kentucky.
  • Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience in teaching and/or counseling (doctoralโ€‘level teaching preferred).
  • Familiarity with DSM for diagnostic purposes.
  • Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and APA standards related to patient care, rights, and confidentiality.
