How You'll Contribute:
The Design Engineer (DE) is a contributing member of the core project team for Faith & Performance projects. The DE supports projects through the lifecycle from sales concept and design development to construction drawings and implementation support. Working under the guidance of a Senior Design Engineer or Project Engineering leadership, the DE assists in translating client needs and system requirements into coordinated technical designs and documentation.
The DE collaborates with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed and is responsible for producing accurate drawings, layouts, and supporting documentation in accordance with project standards. The DE contributes to equipment selection and bill of materials development, subject to review and approval by senior engineering staff.
What You'll Do:
- Contributor for complex engagements and works directly with Account Executives, clients, project teams and other DE's to develop specifications, designs, budgets, timelines and manage expectations.
- Conceptualize system designs and determine system requirements. Provide technical expertise and coordination information to support the architecture, installation and planning of live performance solutions (concert audio, cinematic multi-cam, theatrical stage lighting, house lighting, production IT, intercom, etc).
- Develop Faith and Performance project estimates, Bill of Materials (BOM), Bid Response submissions, and project agreements in partnership with the Sales Engineer and Proposal Manager
- Create Sketchup Models that assist in communicating concepts to the client in the early steps of the sales engagement, as well as being used as the basis for other design deliverables through manufacturers such as loudspeaker systems, camera plots, and house lighting designs
- DE may have client interaction and contribute to the P and L performance.
- Project lifecycle is important and learning the standards our clients are comfortable with is just as important as selling new technology and solutions where they fit. The position bears the responsibility to assist in developing long lasting client partnerships alongside the Sales Engineers & work with team members to maintain the account on all levels.
- Maintains expertise in the industry through ongoing review of trade publications, participation in industry trade shows, seminars and educational forums. May author articles and/or analyze trends.

- 4+ years of professional live audio or video production experience as end user in relevant field

- Ability to understand, synthesize and create AV system designs
- Understanding of TCP/IP routing, QoS, VLAN's and Wireless Access Points

As a member of the Dining Services team, the Hospitality Specialist Bar & Events reports to the Catering Manager and is responsible for providing exceptional beverage, light food, and retail service in the Community Center. This role combines the skills of a bartender, mixologist, and retail clerk, and be able to do light culinary preparation. This position will also serve periodically as supervisor on duty across community dining outlets and provide event leadership as banquet captain during special functions. This position requires the ability to work independently to ensure customer service standards, safety standards, and hospitality requirements are consistently met.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provides high-quality beverage service, including craft cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring consistency and responsible practices.
- Performs bar and caf setup and breakdown, including stocking and organization of alcohol, beverages, food, and retail supplies.
- Prepares light food items using small equipment, following recipes and safety standards.

Summary:
Reporting to TEN’s Vice President, Engineering, the Director-Design Engineering is responsible for overseeing the development and supporting the delivery of multi-disciplined construction projects. This role ensures that all design outputs meet technical, regulatory, and quality standards while aligning with project objectives and client requirements. The Director – Design Engineering will collaborate closely with internal development, engineering, and construction teams while directing and managing external design professionals (architects and engineers) to translate conceptual designs into executable plan documents and constructable project strategies. The Director – Design Engineering plays a key role in ensuring that projects are designed in a safe and profitable manner and all associated project risks are identified and mitigated.
Location: The successful candidate is situated in the Pittsburgh, PA region and will work from the company’s office and a home-based office with travel to customer sites as necessary.
Responsibilities:
Design Phase Leadership & Commercial Strategy
- Lead and manage internal and external multidisciplinary design teams (architects, engineers, and consultants) through all phases of design within a Design/Build delivery model, from concept development through design completion.
- Define and control design scope, standards, schedules, and deliverables to ensure alignment with project objectives, contractual obligations, and client expectations.
- Lead and participate in commercial negotiations with owners, design consultants, and key trade partners related to design scope, fees, risk allocation, and change management.
- Facilitate design coordination and decision-making with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners to resolve technical and commercial issues efficiently.
- Oversee development of coordinated, complete, and constructible design solutions that enable accurate pricing, competitive proposals, and predictable construction outcomes.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, regulatory requirements, and owner standards while balancing cost, schedule, quality, and risk considerations.
- Direct preparation and review of design submittals, equipment selections, and technical packages, ensuring commercial alignment and securing required client approvals.
- Validate evolving cost estimates, contingencies, and allowances throughout design development, identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options to protect and enhance project margins.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate design-related commercial risks, including constructability, scope gaps, escalation exposure, and design schedule impacts.

Construction Phase Design Oversight & Commercial Support
- Serve as the primary design authority during construction, providing technical leadership and commercial support to project managers, superintendents, and field teams.
- Support interpretation of drawings, specifications, and design intent while assessing cost, schedule, and contractual implications of design decisions.
- Review and respond to requests for information (RFIs), submittals, and design clarifications with a focus on minimizing commercial exposure and avoiding schedule disruption.
- Evaluate proposed field changes, substitutions, and value engineering initiatives for technical feasibility, constructability, cost impact, risk allocation, and contract compliance.
- Lead coordination with architects, engineers, design-assist partners, and subcontractors to negotiate and resolve design-related issues encountered during construction.
- Ensure all approved design changes are accurately incorporated into revised documents and as-built records, maintaining alignment with contract requirements.
- Monitor construction activities for adherence to approved design documents.
- Support commissioning, testing, and closeout activities to ensure systems perform as designed and contractual obligations are met.
- Maintain alignment between design intent, construction execution, and financial performance, actively supporting margin protection, change management, and dispute avoidance.
Education and Experience Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in detailed design, estimating, and commercial support within the building construction industry.
- Proven leadership managing multidisciplinary design teams in Design/Build environments.

Overview
The PCB-A / Manufacturing Process Engineer leads the development, implementation, and optimization of Adura’s high-reliability thermal PCB, PCB-A, and integrated box-build manufacturing operations.
This role owns end-to-end process control across SMT, THT, selective soldering, vacuum/nitrogen reflow, X-ray validation, electrical test (Flying Probe), conformal coating, and full box-build / subsystem integration.
The position ensures robust manufacturing flow, yield performance, and regulatory compliance for Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, Industrial, Lighting, and Medical device programs.
Key Responsibilities
SMT & PCB-A Manufacturing
- Lead full SMT line setup including solder paste printing, 3D SPI control, reflow profiling (vacuum/nitrogen), AOI tuning, X-ray validation, and electrical test integration
- Optimize thermal PCB processes including heavy copper, metal-core, and high-current assemblies
- Establish process controls for Flying Probe electrical validation and functional testing
- Drive yield improvement, scrap reduction, and cycle-time optimization
- Develop PFMEA, control plans, DOE, SPC/CPK strategies
Box Build & Subsystem Assembly
- Design and implement scalable box-build manufacturing flow for complete electronic subsystems
- Develop mechanical assembly processes including torque control, harness integration, connectorization, and enclosure assembly
- Establish ruggedization processes including conformal coating, potting, sealing, and environmental protection
- Define functional test protocols for integrated subsystems
- Support builds of aerospace control modules, defense electronics assemblies, industrial power systems, medical device subsystems, and high-performance lighting modules
- Ensure full material traceability and serialized tracking at subsystem level
Compliance & Regulated Markets
- Ensure compliance with IPC Class 2/3 standards
- Support and maintain ISO 9001 certification
- Drive readiness for AS9100 (Aerospace), IATF 16949 (Automotive), and ISO 13485 (Medical)
- Collaborate with Quality on audits, corrective actions, and documentation control

NPI & Equipment Leadership
